In this study,the effects of stacked nanosheets and the surrounding interphase zone on the resistance of the contact region between nanosheets and the tunneling conductivity of samples are evaluated with developed equations superior to those previously *** contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity are modeled by several influencing factors,including stack properties,interphase depth,tunneling size,and contact *** developed model's accuracy is verified through numerous experimental *** further validate the models and establish correlations between parameters,the effects of all the variables on contact resistance and nanocomposite conductivity are ***,the contact resistance is primarily dependent on the polymer tunnel resistivity,contact area,and tunneling *** dimensions of the graphene nanosheets significantly influence the conductivity,which ranges from 0 S/m to90 S/*** increased number of nanosheets in stacks and a larger gap between them enhance the nanocomposite's ***,the thicker interphase and smaller tunneling size can lead to higher sample conductivity due to their optimistic effects on the percolation threshold and network efficacy.

the single-phase high-entropy alloy film is difficult to meet severe friction conditions due to its low hardness and high friction ***-composite structure film is composed of at least two separated phases,showing the properties of strength and toughness integration and excellent wear *** design of nanocomposite structures can effectively improve the mechanical properties and tribological properties of high-entropy alloy *** this study,the(CuNitiNbCr)C_(x) nanocomposite high-entropy films(HEFs)integrated with high hardness,high toughness,and self-lubrication were synthesized by the double-target co-sputtering *** effect of carbon content on microstructure,mechanical properties,and tribological properties of(CuNitiNbCr)C_(x) films was *** the increase of carbon content in the HEFs,the carbon atoms preferentially react with ti,Nb,and Cr to form a(tiNbCr)C ceramic-reinforced phase,and then the excess carbon atoms precipitate in the form of amorphous carbon(a-C)lubricating phase in the *** structure of the HEFs changes from an amorphous structure to a nanocomposite structure of amorphous(amorphous CuNitiNbCr phase+a-C phase)/nanocrystalline(tiN-bCr)C *** the carbon content is about 21.2 at.%,the carbide phase in the film reaches saturation and the hardness and modulus of the films are highest,which are 18 GPa and 228 GPa,*** HEFs with a carbon content of 44.0 at.%show the best toughness and tribological properties with a friction coefficient of 0.16 and a wear rate of 2.4×10^(-6) mm^(3)/(N m),which is mainly attributed to the excellent resistance to fatigue crack growth and the interfacial lubricating layer formed in the friction *** nanocomposite(CuNitiNbCr)C_(x) HEFs show very promising application prospect in the field of friction protection.

the ballistic resistance and failure pattern of a bi-layer alumina 99.5%-aluminium alloy 1100-H12 target against steel 4340 ogival nosed projectile has been explored in the present experimental cum numerical *** the experimental investigation,damage induced in the ceramic layer has been quantified in terms of number of cracks developed and failure zone *** resultant damage in the backing layer has been studied with variation in the bulge and perforation hole in the backing layer with the varying incidence *** discussion of the experimental results has been further followed by three dimensional finite element computations using ABAQUS/Explicit finite code to investigate the behaviour of different types of bi-layer targets under multi-hit projectile *** JH-2 constitutive model has been used to reproduce the behaviour of alumina 99.5%and JC constitutive model has been used for steel 4340 and aluminium alloy *** total energy dissipation has been noted to be of lesser magnitude in case of sub-sequential impact in comparison to simultaneous impact of two *** distance between the impact points of two projectiles also effected the ballistic resistance of bi-layer *** ballistic resistance of single tile ceramic front layer and four tile ceramic of equivalent area found to be dependent upon the boundary conditions provided to the target.

Polypropylene(PP)fibres have primarily used to control shrinkage cracks or mitigate explosive spalling in concrete structures exposed to fire or subjected to impact/blast loads,with limited investigations on capacity *** study unveils the possibility of using PP micro-fibres to improve the impact behaviour of fibre-reinforced ultra-high-performance concrete(FRUHPC)*** show that the addition of fibres significantly improves the impact behaviour of FRUHPC columns by shifting the failure mechanism from brittle shear to favourable flexural *** addition of steel or PP fibres affected the impact responses *** fibres considerably increased the peak impact force(up to 18%)while PP micro-fibres slightly increased the peak(3%-4%).FRUHPC significantly reduced the maximum midheight displacement by up to 30%(under 20impact)and substantially improved the displacement recovery by up to 100%(under 20impact).FRUHPC with steel fibres significantly improved the energy absorption while those with PP micro-fibres reduced the energy absorption,which is different from the effect of PP-macro fibre reported in the *** optimal fibre content for micro-PP fibres is 1%due to its minimal fibre usage and low peak and residual *** study highlights the potential of FRUHPC as a promising material for impact-resistant structures by creating a more favourable flexural failure mechanism,enhancing ductility and toughness under impact loading,and advancing the understanding of the role of fibres in structural performance.

A colliding microjet liquid sheet target system was developed and tested for pairs of round nozzles of 10,11 and 18μm in *** sheet's position stability was found to be better than a few *** interaction with 50 mJ laser pulses,the 18μm jet has a resonance amplitude of 16μm at a repetition rate of 33 Hz,while towards 100 Hz it converges to 10μm for all nozzles.A white-light interferometric system was developed to measure the liquid sheet thickness in the target chamber both in air and in vacuum,with a measurement range of 182 nm±1μm and an accuracy of±3%.the overall shape and 3D shape of the sheet follow the Hasson±Peck model in *** vacuum versus air,the sheet gradually loses 10%of its thickness,so the thinnest sheet achieved was below 200 nm at a vacuum level of 10±4mbar,and remained stable for several hours of operation.

Quantum resources such as entanglement and coherence are the holy grail for modern quantum technologies. Although the unwanted environmental effects tackle quantum information processing tasks, suprisingly these key quantum resources may be protected and even enhanced by the implementation of some special hybrid open quantum systems. Here, we aim to show how a dissipative atom-cavity-system can be accomplished to generate enhanced quantum *** do so, we consider a couple of dissipative cavities, where each one contains two effective two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode cavity field. In practical applications, a classical laser field may be applied to drive each atomic subsystem. After driving the system, a Bell-state measurement is performed on the output of the system to quantify the entanglement and coherence. the obtained results reveal that the remote entanglement and coherence between the atoms existing inside the two distant cavities are not only enhanced, but can be stabilized, even under the action of dissipation. In contrast, the local entanglement between two atoms inside each dissipative cavity attenuates due to the presence of unwanted environmental ***, the local coherence may show the same behavior as the remote ***, the system provides the steady state entanglement in various interaction regimes,particularly in the strong atom-cavity coupling and with relatively large detuning. more interestingly, our numerical analyses demonstrate that the system may show a memory effect due to the fact that the death and revival of the entanglement take place during the interaction. Our proposed model may find potential applications for the implementation of long distance quantum networks. In particular, it facilitates the distribution of quantum resources between the nodes of large-scale quantum networks for secure communication.

A series of orange-red light emitting Ca_(2)mgSi_(2)O_(7):Sm^(3+)nanopowders were fabricated via low-cost ecofriendly green combustion technique using Aloe vera gel as *** phase purity of the samples were confirmed by the powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD)*** single-phase tetragonal structure is observed from the PXRD results with no additional impurity *** band gap energy of the fabricated powders was estimated by diffuse reflectance spectra(DRS)and is found to be in the range of 4.01-5.98 eV.A high resolution scanning electron microscope(SEm)was used to study the morphological behaviour of the ***-like structures are observed from the SEm *** particle size was evaluated by transmission electron microscopy(tEm)and is found to be~50 *** interplanar distance is found to be 0.53 *** properties were systematically studied in *** phosphors are successfully excited at 403 nm NUV light,producing reddish-orange characteristic *** emission peaks are centered at 558(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(5/2)),607(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2))and 645 nm(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(9/2)),*** the observed peaks the red emanation(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(7/2))is stronger than the orange emission(^(4)G_(5/2)→^(6)H_(5/2))in the current *** photoluminescent concentration quenching is noticed above 5 mol%Sm^(3+)ion doping *** dipole-dipole interaction resulting in cross relaxation is found to be the principal cause of concentration quenching *** color features such as Commission Internationale de I’Eclairage(CIE)and correlated color temperature(CCt)were studied in *** optimized chromaticity coordinates were estimated to be(0.6363,0.3632),which fall in the reddish-orange *** average CCt value obtained is 3362 *** average color purity is found to be~82%.Sm^(3+)incorporated Ca_(2)mgSi_(2)O_(7) samples are possible contender for single white light generation commercial candidates owing to

In this study,the spectroscopic parameters of exotic molecular states composed of mesons containing two heavy quarks(scalar-axial and pseudoscalar-axial meson combinations)are investigated within the QCD sum *** findings reveal that molecular states containing charm quarks do not form bound states,whereas states with b-quarks can form exotic molecular *** observation has significant implications for understanding the structure of these exotic states.

We estimate the coupling constants and decay widths of the SU(3)partners of theΩ(2012)hyperon,as discovered by the BELLE Collaboration,using the distribution amplitudes of the octet baryons within the light cone sum rules *** study includes a comparison of the obtained results for the relevant decay widths with those derived within the framework of the flavor SU(3)*** observe a good agreement between the predictions of both ***,our result on the decay width ofΩ→Ξk is compatible with the existing experimental result within the uncertainties of the model *** results can provide helpful insights for determining the nature of the SU(3)partners of theΩ(2012)baryon.
