This paper investigates the effect of initial volume fraction on the runout characteristics of collapse of granular columns on slopes in fluid. 2-D sub-grain scale numerical simulations are performed to understand the flow dynamics of granular collapse in fluid. The discrete element method（DEM） technique is coupled with the lattice Boltzmann method（LBM）, for fluid-grain interactions, to understand the evolution of submerged granular flows. The fluid phase is simulated using multiple-relaxation-time LBM（LBM-MRT） for numerical stability. In order to simulate interconnected pore space in 2-D, a reduction in the radius of the grains（hydrodynamic radius） is assumed during LBM computations. The collapse of granular column in fluid is compared with the dry cases to understand the effect of fluid on the runout behaviour. A parametric analysis is performed to assess the influence of the granular characteristics（initial packing） on the evolution of flow and run-out distances for slope angles of 0 °, 2.5°, 5 ° and 7.5 °. The granular flow dynamics is investigated by analysing the effect of hydroplaning, water entrainment and viscous drag on the granular mass. The mechanism of energy dissipation, shape of the flow front, water entrainment and evolution of packing density is used to explain the difference in the flow characteristics of loose and dense granular column collapse in fluid.

A large body of experimental work has established that athermal colloid/polymer mixtures undergo a sequence of transitions from a disordered fluid state to a colloidal crystal to a second disordered phase with increasing polymer *** transitions are driven by polymer-mediated interparticle attraction,which is a function of both the polymer density and *** has been posited that the disordered state at high polymer density is a consequence of strong interparticle attractions that kinetically inhibit the formation of the colloidal crystal,i.e.,the formation of a non-equilibrium gel phase interferes with *** we use molecular dynamics simulations and density functional theory on polymers and nanoparticles(NPs)of comparable size and show that the crystal-disordered phase coexistence at high polymer density for sufficiently long chains corresponds to an equilibrium thermodynamic phase *** the crystal is,indeed,stabilized at intermediate polymer density by polymer-induced intercolloid attractions,it is destabilized at higher densities because long chains lose significant configurational entropy when they are forced to occupy all of the crystal *** results are in quantitative agreement with existing experimental data and show that,at least in the nanoparticle limit of sufficiently small colloidal particles,the crystal phase only has a modest range of thermodynamic stability.

＜正＞The recent introduction of competitive markets and the growth of foreign investment and private ownership of firms have led Chinese enterprises to consider the adoption of various management accounting concepts used in capitalist *** measurement systems are a key part in managerial accounting and control *** measures play a key role in translating an organization’s strategy into desired behaviors and *** study empirically examines:the different competitive strategies selected by Chinese firms in three different industries,the different degrees of focus in manufacturing strategies among firms in three industries,and the different degrees of using financial performance measures versus non-financial performance measures in three different *** addition,we examine the extents of difficulty of achieving goals both across industries and between financial and non-financial measures as well as the degrees of using different types of performance measures in incentive compensation plans. Our survey results show that textile firms significantly rely on the cost leadership strategy more heavily than electronics firms and machinery *** possible reason for this is that the textile industry has the highest competition *** the manufacturing strategy,we find that the machinery industry focuses more on quality than other two *** possible reason because their products are durable goods and the quality is highly valued by their customers. A Recommender System(RS)is a crucial part of several firms,particularly those involved in *** conventional RS,a user may only offer a single rating for an item-that is insufficient to perceive consumer ***,businesses in industries like e-learning and tourism enable customers to rate a product using a variety of factors to comprehend customers’*** the other hand,the collaborative filtering(CF)algorithm utilizing AutoEncoder(AE)is seen to be effective in identifying user-interested ***,the cost of these computations increases nonlinearly as the number of items and users *** triumph over the issues,a novel expanded stacked autoencoder(ESAE)with kernel Fuzzy C-Means Clustering(kFCM)technique is proposed with two *** the first phase of offline,the sparse multicriteria rating matrix is smoothened to a complete matrix by predicting the users’intact rating by the ESAE approach and users are clustered using the kFCM *** the next phase of online,the top-N recommendation prediction is made by the ESAE approach involving only the most similar user from multiple *** the ESAE_kFCM model upgrades the prediction accuracy of 98.2%in Top-N recommendation with a minimized recommendation generation *** experimental check on the Yahoo!Movies(YM)movie dataset and TripAdvisor(TA)travel dataset confirmed that the ESAE_kFCM model constantly outperforms conventional RS algorithms on a variety of assessment measures.

A set of co-doped(Tb^(3+)/Dy^(3+))lithium zinc borate(LZB)glasses were developed by melt *** structural evaluation was performed for synthesized glassy *** Dy^(3+)and Tb^(3+)individually doped glasses exhibit intense yellow and green luminescence bands at 575 nm(^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(13/2))and543 nm(^(5)D_(4)→^(7)F_(5)),*** sensitization effect of Dy^(3+)on Tb^(3+)was analyzed by increasing the Tb^(3+)content with respect to the optimum Dy^(3+)content(0.5 mol%)in Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+).The spectral overlay of Dy^(3+)luminescence and Tb^(3+)absorption profiles,Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+)PL spectra under different excitations 352,362,376,and 385 nm,shortening decay lifetimes of Dy^(3+)in Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+)co-activated glasses,energy transfer(ET)parameters,chromaticity coordinates and their corresponding correlated temperatures all help to explain ET from Dy^(3+)to Tb^(3+).At 385 nm of Dy^(3+)excitation,the optimized co-activated(0.5Dy^(3+)+1.0Tb^(3+)):LZB glass displays cool white light *** non-radiative ET from Dy^(3+)to Tb^(3+)is dominated by electric dipole-dipole interaction and its ET efficiency was calculated to be 63%.At the same time,reverse ET from Tb^(3+)to Dy^(3+)was also *** shift in color coordinates from dominant yellow to greenish-yellow,green and white light emission suggests that Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+)coactivated LZB glasses can be a potential candidate for UV converted multicolor and white light emitting devices.
