Alkaline phosphatase activity (APA) and dissolved phosphorus were monitored during the batch cultures of two bone microalgae. Results indicate that variation of APA was in the shape of 'S' curve. Different specs of dissolved phaphorus had different effects on APA. The concentrations of dis solved inorganic phosphorus (DIP) and and molecular dissolved organic phosphorus (SDOP) had a sig nificant effect on APA, while the concentration of large molecular dissolved organic phosphorus (LDOP) had a little effect on APA., and the increase of APA could accelerate the decomposing of LDOP in the medium. Results also show that algae species and abundance had why a little effect on APA.

Software Operational Profile Based Test Case Allocation Using Fuzzy Logic

Software operational profile （SOP） is used in software reliability prediction, software quality assessment, performance analysis of software, test case allocation, determination of ＂when to stop testing,＂ etc. Due to the limited data resources and large efforts required to collect and convert the gathered data into point estimates, reluctance is observed by the software professionals to develop the SOP. A framework is proposed to develop SOP using fuzzy logic, which requires usage data in the form of linguistics. The resulting profile is named fuzzy software operational profile （FSOP）. Based on this work, this paper proposes a generalized approach for the allocation of test cases, in which occurrence probability of operations obtained from FSOP are combined with the criticality of the operations using fuzzy inference system （fis）. Traditional methods for the allocation of test cases do not consider the application in which software operates. This is intuitively incorrect. To solve this problem, allocation of test cases with respect to software application using the fis model is also proposed in this paper.

This paper is to identify and classify the various types of shunt and line faults in transmission line. The faults may be an insulation failure, lightning or accidental faulty operation. In a transmission line protection important factor is identifying a fault because if any error occurs in finding fault may leads to abnormal operation of the protection system. So either a disturbance or steady state variation is called power quality variation. The proposed test system is modeled based on the neural network and fuzzy algorithm. The online symmetrical components are extracted by this above algorithm. The fuzzy is used to separate the oscillating components and average components. here input for the fuzzy is trained by using neural network. It is based on current samples and very effective in fault classifier using rule base. This method is very much suitable for online implementation.

In economics and finance, minimising errors while building an abstract representation of financial assets plays a critical role due to its application in areas such as risk management, decision making and option pricing. Despite the many methods developed to handle this problem, modelling processes with fixed and random periodicity still remains a major challenge. Such methods include Artificial Neural networks (ANN), Fuzzy Inference system (fis), GARCH models and their hybrids. This study seeks to extend literature of hybrid ANN-Time Varying GARCH model through simulations and application in modelling weather derivatives. The study models daily temperature of kenya using ANN-Time Varying GARCH (1, 1), Time Lagged Feedforward neural network (TLNN) and periodic GARCH family models. Mean square error (MSE) and coefficient of determination R2 were used to determine performance of the models under study. Results obtained show that the ANN-Time Varying GARCH model gives the best results.

We have studied the ππN system and coupled channels by using of the Faddeev equations and two N* and one △ states, all of them with JP =1/2+, have been found in the formalism as dynamically generated states. In addition, signatures for a new N* resonance with JP =1/2+ are found around an energy of 1920 MeV in the three-body center of mass system.

Existing pion+nucleus Drell-Yan and electron+pion scattering data are used to develop ensembles of modelindependent representations of the pion generalized parton distribution(GPD).Therewith,one arrives at a datadriven prediction for the pion mass distribution form factor,θ_(2)^(π).Compared with the pion elastic electromagnetic form factor,θ_(2)^(π)is harder:the ratio of the radii derived from these two form factors is r_(π)^(θ2)/r_(π)= 0.79(3).Our datadriven predictions for the pion GPD,related form factors and distributions should serve as valuable constraints on theories of pion structure.
