Lead-free x(0.50(Ba_(0.7)Ca_(0.3)TiO_(3)-0.50Ba(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.8)O_(3)-(1-x)PVdF ceramic–polymer nanocomposites with x=0.025,0.05,0.10,0.15,0.20,0.25 were prepared using melt-mixing *** distribution of nanoceramic filler particles(0.50(Ba_(0.7)Ca_(0.3)TiO_(3)-0.50Ba(Zr_(0.2)Ti_(0.8)O_(3)in the PVdF matrix were examined using scanning electron *** analysis indicated the negative temperature coefficient of resistance character of all the test *** concentrationdependent piezoelectric coefficient(d33Þdata followed exponential growth types of *** data for ac conductivity were found to obey Jonscher’s power *** correlated barrier hopping(CBH)model was found to explain the mechanism of charge transport occurring in the *** low value of loss tangent(-10^(-2))along with the high value of d_(33) foreshadowing the prospect of present nanocomposite is a better nonlead option for piezo-sensing/detection applications,especially in bio-medical area.

Often the lifecycle data occur as count of the vital events and are recorded as *** purpose of this article is to model the fertility behavior based on religious,educational,economic,and occupational *** responses of classified groups according to these determinants are examined for significant influence on fertility using Poisson regression model(PRM) based on the National Family Health Survey-3 *** observed and predicted probabilities under PRM indicate modal value of two children for the Poisson distribution modeled *** of dominance of two child in the data motivates the authors to adopt multinomial regression model(MRM) in order to link fertility with various socioeconomic indicators responsible for fertility *** of the explanatory factors is limited to the availability of *** and patterns of preference for birth counts suggest that religion,caste,wealth,female education,and occupation are the dominant factors shaping the observed birth *** analysis suggests that both the models used in the study perform similarly on the sample ***,fitting of MRM by taking birth count of two as comparison category shows improved Akaike information criterion and consistent Akaike information criterion *** work contributes to the existing literature as it attempts to provide more insight into the determinants of Indian fertility using Poisson and MRM.

Hydraulic fracturing(HF)is a commonly used technique to stimulate low permeability formations such as shale plays and tight ***,this method of well stimulation has also been used in high permeable unconsolidated sandstone formations to bypass near-wellbore formation damage and prevent sand production at some distance apart from the wellbore *** treatment is called frac-pack completion,where a short length but wide width fracture is formed by injecting aggressive concentrations of proppant into the fracture *** operation is known as tip screen-out(TSO).detailed design of fluid and proppant,including an optimal pump schedule,is required to achieve satisfactory *** this study,we first assess the lattice-based numerical method's capabilities for simulating hydraulic fracturing propagation in elastoplastic *** results will be compared with the same case simulation results using a pseudo 3d(P3d)model and analytical ***,we explore the Nolte(1986)design for frac-pack and TSO treatment using lattice-based software and the P3d *** results showed that both models could simulate the hydraulic fracturing propagation in soft formation and TSO operation,while some differences were observed in generated geometry,the tip screenout time and net pressure *** results are *** was noted that fracture propagation regime(viscosity/toughness),nonlocality and nonlinearity had an influence on the different *** advantages of each model will be discussed.

阳光干燥的法国菜豆选—9品种的种子(含水量为10.0%±0.8),在常温下进行老化3年的调查结果表明:老化1年后的种子活力明显下降,幼苗鲜重和发芽速度(GS)分别降低7%和16%;老化2年后的种子活力和生活力均下降,发芽率、幼苗鲜重、发芽速率(GR)和标准发芽(S+G)分别降低9、22、38、52和39%;老化3年的种子活力和生活力均严重下降,发芽力,幼苗鲜重、发芽速率、发芽速度和标准发芽分别比未经过老化的对照种子降低38、50、80、90和74%,表现了极差的播种品质。与此同时进行的电导率,紫外线吸收物质、糖、氨基酸、浸泡液中钾的含量及胚轴中脱氢酶活力等活力评估参数的测定结果,也显示了同样的趋势。这些参数除了在浸泡水中出现的对酚化合物的百分数显著水平在5%外,其它的与发芽率、幼苗鲜重、发芽速率和标准发芽之间均表现了高度显著的相关性(P=0.01),所有相关系数均明显大于0.75。

Groundnut(Arachis hypogaea L.)is widely grown and consumed around the world and is considered to have originated from a single hybridization event between two wild *** utilization of wild germplasm in breeding programs has been restricted by reproductive barriers between wild and cultivated species and technical difficulties in making large numbers of *** to overcome these hurdles have resulted in the development of synthetic amphidiploids,namely ISATGR 278-18(Arachis duranesis×Arachis batizocoi)and ISATGR 5B(Arachis magna×***),which possess several desirable traits,including resistance to foliar diseases that generally cause huge yield losses annually in groundnut growing areas of Asia,America,and *** an objective to improve foliar disease resistance,the primary gene pool was diversified by introgressing foliar disease resistance in five cultivated genotypes(ICGV 91114,ICGS 76,ICGV 91278,JL 24,and dH 86)from synthetic amphidiploids using a backcross breeding *** introgression lines with resistance to two foliar diseases(rust and late leaf spot)were identified with levels of resistance equal to the *** backcross derived lines have shown a wide range of variation for several morphological and agronomic *** lines,after further evaluation and selection,can serve as donors in future breeding programs aimed atdeveloping improved cultivars with desirable agronomic traits,high resilience to biotic/abiotic stresses and a broadened genetic base.

The study of flow through porous media has been of cardinal gravity in oil and gas applications like enhanced oil recovery(EOR),acidizing,fracturing,*** of the most anticipated apprehensions is that the core flooding and simulation have become prevalent to understand the flow through porous *** study aims at simulating and analyzing the effect of alkaline surfactant flooding through heterogeneous permeability conditions in the lab-scale *** conventional methods of core flood deal with the effective permeability of the system without considering the effect of heterogeneity within the *** heterogeneous studies are conducted by simulating a finely meshed 2-d axisymmetric model of the sand *** novel karanj oil surfactant extracted from Pongamia Pinnata,and partially hydrolyzed polyacryl amide polymer are considered for the physicochemical properties of displacing fluid used in the *** heterogeneity combinations and displacing fluid injection flow rates are introduced for a single absolute permeability *** indicate a trend of oil recovery upright with increasing vertical permeability.A lower areal sweep efficiency and early breakthrough are observed in models with high horizontal ***,the effect of heterogeneity on oil recovery is reduced with the increase in injection flow rates of displacing *** present work utilizes computational fluid dynamics to model multiphase flow through a heterogeneous permeability media and its effect on oil recovery.

This study presents results from a vegetation-induced flow experimental study which investigates 3-d turbulence structure profiles,including Reynolds stress,turbulence intensity and bursting analysis of open channel *** vegetation densities have been built between the adjacent vegetations,and the flow measurements are taken using acoustic doppler velocimeter(AdV)at the locations within and downstream of the vegetation *** different tests are conducted,where the first test has compact vegetations,while the second and the third tests have open spaces created by one and two empty vegetation slots within the vegetated *** reveals that over 10%of eddies size is generated within the vegetated zone of compact vegetations as compared with the fewer *** turbulence structures variation is also observed at the points in the non-vegetated *** findings from burst-cycle analysis show that the sweep and outward interaction events are dominant,where they further increase away from the *** effect of vegetation on the turbulent burst cycle is mostly obvious up to approximately two-third of vegetation height where this phenomenon is also observed for most other turbulent structure.

Thermogravimetric analysis/differential scanning calorimeter(TGA/dSC)technique along with basic coal characteristics study is carried out for eighty coal samples of Indian coalfields,to determine spontaneous combustion propensity behaviour of *** study of coal samples indicates that there is an increase in the mass of coal samples in the temperature range 150-350℃,which may be due to oxygen adsorption and *** correlation and principal component analysis states that the component of proximate analysis(M_(ad),VM_(d),FR,and VR)have an acceptable correlation with the TGA experiments results i.e.,Tgsh and *** fixed nonlinear regression analysis shows that thermogravimetry(TG)experiment results Tgign may be the best index to categorise/classify the coal as per their susceptibility towards spontaneous *** authors proposed four groups of classification as per their propensity towards spontaneous combustion depending upon the moisture(M_(ad)),volatile matter(VM_(d)),and TG ignition temperature from differential thermogravimetric(dTG)curve(Tgign)using hierarchal clustering *** coal samples of different seams from Indian coalfield may be classified into four different clusters,*** highly/extremely susceptible(Tgignderately susceptible(290℃≤Tgign≤320℃),and poorly susceptible(Tgign>320℃).The field observations and TGA/dSC experiment results with the following statistical analysis substantiate a similar assessment.
