Insulin,a small protein with 51 amino acids synthesized by pancreatic β-cells,is crucial to sustain glucose homeostasis at biochemical and molecular *** metabolic dysfunctions are related to insulin-mediated altered glucose *** of the significant pathophysiological conditions linked to the insulin associated disorder is diabetes mellitus(DM)(type 1,type 2,and gestational).Insulin resistance(IR)is one of the major underlying causes of metabolic disorders despite its association with several physiological *** syndrome(MS)is another pathophysiological condition that is associated with IR,hypertension,and ***,several other pathophysiological disorders/diseases are associated with the insulin malfunctioning,which include polycystic ovary syndrome,neuronal disorders,and *** are an uncommon type of pancreatic β-cell-derived neuroendocrine tumor that makes up 2% of all pancreatic *** revealed that different biochemical events,molecular signaling pathways,microRNAs,and microbiota act as connecting links between insulin disorder and associated pathophysiology such as DM,insuloma,neurological disorder,MS,and *** this review,we focus on the insulin-related disorders and the underlying mechanisms associated with the pathophysiology.

印刷电路板和微管换热器的热工水力特性数值研究

同传统的管壳式换热器相比,以超临界二氧化碳为工质的紧凑型换热器能够有效提高热力循环效率,降低各部件尺寸,对小型堆的设计有着重要意义。紧凑式换热器主要分为两种类型,分别是印刷式换热器和微通道换热器。为了分析紧凑型换热器的热工水力性能,本文基于超临界二氧化碳工质的热工水力特性,分析了印刷式换热器和微通道换热器的主要优势,设计了三种印刷式换热器模型和三种微通道换热器模型,引入几何无量纲数和雷诺数作为变量,采用计算流体动力学方法(CFD)进行了数值模拟。印刷式换热器通道模型分别为具有15°角的锯齿形通道、波状通道和翼型鳍通道。结果表明,锯齿形通道具有比波状通道和AFF通道更好的传热性能。在压力损失的情况下,翼型鳍片通道表现出更好的性能,其次是波纹通道和锯齿形通道,应进一步研究具有不同翅片类型的直槽。对于微通道换热器,研究了三种不同的微通道直径模型,其微通道外径均为2mm,内径分别为0.8mm、1mm、1.2mm。结果表明,增加微通道直径可以提高换热效率,随着微通道直径的增加,摩擦系数增加,同时压力损失也会增加。同时考虑换热效率和压力损失的影响,引入面积优化因子作为衡量指标,结果表明外径为2mm,内径为0.8mm的微通道换热器综合性能最好。本文对超临界二氧化碳在紧凑式换热器中的热工水力特性进行了深入研究,对今后的进一步的弯曲通道模拟计算,高雷诺数情况下的研究以及实验设计提供了参考依据和研究基础。

Prolonged QTc Interval Is an Electrophysiological Hallmark of Cirrhotic Cardiomyopathy

BACkGROUND: Cirrhotic Cardiomyopathy is a relatively ill-characterized condition, which is often under-diagnosed due to absence of defined diagnostic criteria. ECG showing corrected QT Interval prolongation is the most suitable available option for diagnosis of this condition. OBJECTIVE: To determine the frequency of corrected QT interval prolongation in patients with liver cirrhosis. METHODOLOGY: Patients (n = 166) with confirmed cirrhosis, 30 years or older, presented in the outpatient and emergency department of medicine at Capital Hospital Islamabad between 1 October 2011 and 30 September 2012, were enrolled in this cross-sectional study after taking consent. ECG was done using calibrated ECG machine, and the QT Interval was measured. Corrected QT was calculated using Bazett’s formula and a QTc of more than 0.44 seconds was considered as being prolonged. RESULTS: The mean age of the patients was 57.05 ± 12.03 years. The corrected QT Interval varied from 337 ms to 560 ms. The mean QTc Interval was 429.92 ms ± 45.11. QTc was prolonged in 41 out of 166 patients (24.7%). Frequency of QTc prolongation was 4.5% in Child Pugh Grade A, 23.2% in Child Pugh Grade B, and 32.0% in Child Pugh Grade C. Association of Child Pugh Scoring with QTc prolongation was determined and found to be statistically significant (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: QTc interval was prolonged in 24.7% of cirrhotic patients in our study. There was a significant increase in frequency with worsening of Child Pugh Grade, thereby indicating an association between QTc prolongation and the severity of cirrhosis.

本文采用人工神经网络(ANN)与进化算法(特别是阿基米德优化算法(AOA)和水循环算法(WCA)相结合的方法)对非线性磁流体动力学(MHD)的Jeffery-Hamel问题,特别是收敛和发散通道中的拉伸/收缩问题进行了数值研究。这种组合技术被称为ANN-AOA-WCA。将基于复杂非线性磁流体动力学Jeffery-Hamel问题的偏微分方程转化为速度和温度的非线性常微分方程系统,我们建立了基于人工神经网络的适应度函数来求解非线性微分问题。随后,采用了一种新的AOA和WCA结合方法(AOAWCA)来优化基于神经网络的适应度函数,并确定了神经网络的最优权值和偏差。为了证明提出混合方法的有效性和多功能性,探索了一系列雷诺数、通道角和可拉伸边界值的MHD模型,从而开发了两种不同的情况。ANN-AOA-WCA的数值结果与参考解(NDSOLVE)非常接近,NDSOLVE与ANNAOA-WCA的绝对误差约为3.35×10^(−8),对可拉伸收敛和发散通道的理解特别关键。此外,为了验证ANN-AOA-WCA技术,我们对150多个独立运行进行了统计分析,以获得适应度值。

Software development is a complex and difficult task that requires the investment of sufficient resources and carries major risk of failure. Model Driven Engineering (MDE) focuses on creating software models and automating code generation from the models. Model Driven Software Development (MDSD) offers significantly more effective approaches. These approaches improve the way of building software. Model driven approaches partially increase developer productivity, decrease the cost of software construction, improve software reusability, and make software more maintainable. This paper investigates the methods where Model Driven Software Development is integrated with Software Product Line (SPL). This SLR has been conducted to identify 71 research works published since 2014. We have collected 18 tools, 14 techniques and 17 languages used for MDSD for SPL. We analyze which technique is suitable for SPL. We compare the techniques on the basis of features provided by these tools to understand the better-quality results.

Background: Depression is relatively prevalent in chronic kidney disease (CkD) patients. knowing the frequency of depression in these patients, the association with variables such as stage of disease, education, and income status may be helpful in devising strategies for better management. Methods: We examined 315 patients diagnosed with CkD presented in the outpatient and emergency department of medicine at Capital Hospital, Islamabad, Pakistan. Depression was diagnosed according to the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale of depressive episode. Results: In the dialysis group, 83.8% were depression positive, while in the pre-dialysis group only 61.3% of patients were given the same diagnosis (P kD patients, screenings should be routinely performed in order to identify and treat depression in its early stages for these patients.

Within the expanding paradigm of medical imaging in Teleradiology-Telemedicine there is increasing demand for transmitting diagnostic medical imagery. These are usually rich in radiological contents and the associated file sizes are large which must be compressed with minimal file size to minimize transmission time and robustly coded to withstand required network medium. It has been reinforced through extensive research that the diagnostically important regions of medical images, the Region of Interest (ROI), must be compressed by lossless or near lossless algorithm while on the other hand, the background region be compressed with some loss of information but still recognizable using JPEG 2000 standard. We develop a compression model and present its application on MRI images. Applying on MRI images achieved higher compression ratio 16:1, analogously minimum transmission time, using MAXSHIFT method proved diagnostically significant and effective both objectively and subjectively.

在考虑分析技术的同时,分析被认为是必要的。人行道暴露的无数气候情况影响路面变形机制及其性能。路面设计中气候方面的融合对于机械-经验设计实践的发展具有重要意义。为了考虑路面设计中的气候不一致性,必须在较长时间内改进包括气候区的临界路面温度和降水的数据库。在近似连续函数的同时,可以采用不同的方法。保持使用该方法的准确度。从泰勒学院的系列开始,转向Guass-Jacobian方法。每种方法都有其实用性。在本研究中,将用于python语言的Runge kutta方法的算法应用于用于预测路面温度的数据集。假设系列是连续的,并且可以在将其移动到曲线上时预测其值。首先,制定了一个合适的函数,并将其应用于数据,以便对特定日期进行预测。在时间序列分析期间,在给定的参考术语中使用具有适当精确度的图表在校准和数据解释中起重要作用。路面设计中的气候变量组合对于开发机械-经验设计叙事非常重要。由于气候实体的变化而评估变化是非常重要的以及准确度。本文包含了从多项式的角度进行分析的所有算法,从线性扩展到四次。论文介绍了使用图形用户界面生成图形的算法。

The paper deals with automatic reactive power control of an isolated wind-diesel hybrid power system. The power is generated by diesel engine and wind turbine as prime movers with electrical power conversion by permanent-magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) and permanent-magnet induction generator (PMIG) respectively. The mathematical model of the system developed is based on reactive power flow equations. The paper investigates the dynamic performance of the hybrid system for 1% step increase in reactive power load with 1% step increase in input wind power.
