After three rounds of rigorous ev.luation of core journals in gastroenterology andhepatology conducted by the Reference Citation Analysis (RCA) editorial team ofBaishideng Publishing Group (Baishideng), the RCA database of Baishidengofficially released the 2022 Journal Article Influence Index (2022 JAII) of 101 corejournals in gastroenterology and hepatology, for the first time. The list of 101 corejournals can be found at: https://***/Search-Journal. Among them, the highest 2022 JAII is 48.014 and the lowest is 3.900. Thisarticle highlights the top 20 journals, describes the calculation method for the 2022JAII, the ev.luation process, and the inclusion principles for journals in the *** steps are the underpinning of the RCA’s empirical journal academicev.luation serv.ce by which the digital platform addresses the needs of authors toselect reliable journals for submission, readers to select high-quality literature forreading, and editors to track.their own journal citation performance. β-thalassemia is caused by β-globin gene mutations. Howev.r, heterogeneous phenotypes were found in indiv.duals with same genotype, and still undescribed mechanism underlies such v.riation. We collected blood samples from 30 β-thalassemia major, 30 β-thalassemia minor patients, and 30 matched normal controls. Human lncRNA Array v..0 （8 × 60 k. Arraystar） was used to detect changes in long non-coding RNAs （lncRNAs） and mRNAs in three samples each from β-thalassemia major, β-thalassemia minor, and control groups. Compared with normal controls, 1424 and 2045 lncRNAs were up- and downregulated, respectiv.ly, in β-thalassemia major patients, whereas 623 and 349 lncRNAs were up- and downregulated, respectiv.ly, in β-thalassemia minor patients. Compared with β-thalassemia minor group, 1367 and 2356 lncRNAs were up- and downregulated, respectiv.ly, in β-thalassemia major group. We selected fiv. lncRNAs that displayed altered expressions （DQ583499, X-inactiv. specific transcript （Xist）, IincRNA-TPM1, MRFS16P, and lincRNA-RUNX2-2） and confirmed their expression lev.ls in all samples using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Based on coding-non-coding gene co-expression network.and gene ontology biological process analyses, sev.ral signaling pathways were associated with three common organ systems exhibiting β-thalassemia phenotypes： hematologic, sk.letal, and hepatic systems. This study implicates that abnormal expression lev.ls of lncRNAs and mRNA in β-thalassemia cases may be correlated with its v.rious clinical phenotypes.

Jin and C. Li [Calc. v.r. Partial Differential Equations, 2006, 26： 447-457] dev.loped some v.ry interesting method for regularity lifting and obtained the optimal integrability for p, q 〉 1. Here, based on some new observ.tions, we ov.rcome the difficulty there, and deriv. the optimal integrability for the case of p, q ≥1 and pq ≠1. This integrability plays a k.y role in estimating the asymptotic behav.or of positiv. solutions when ｜x｜ →0 and when ｜x｜→∞.

Reinsurance can prov.de an effectiv. way for insurer to manage its risk.exposure. In this paper, we further analyze the optimal reinsurance models recently proposed by J. Cai and k. S. Tan [Astin Bulletin, 2007, 37（1）： 93- 112]. With the criteria of minimizing the v.lue-at-risk.（v.R） risk.measure of insurer＇s total loss exposure, we deriv. the optimal v.lues of sharing proportion a, retention d, and layer 1 of two reinsurance treaties： the limited change- loss f（x） = a{（x - d）＋ - （x -l）＋} and the truncated change-loss f（x） = a（x - d）＋I（x≤t）. Both of the reinsurance plans hav. been considered to be more realistic and practical in the real business. Our solutions hav. sev.ral appealing features：（i） there is only one condition to v.rify for the existence of optimal limited change-loss reinsurance while there always exists an optimal truncated change-loss reinsurance, （ii） the resulting optimal parameters hav. simple analytic forms which depend only on assumed loss distribution, reinsurer＇s safety loading, and insurer＇s risk.tolerance, （iii） the optimal retention d for limited change-loss reinsurance is the same as that by Cai and Tan while the optimal v.lue is smaller for truncated change-loss, （iv. the optimal sharing proportion and layer are always the same for both reinsurance plans, （v. minimized v.R are strictly lower than the v.lues deriv.d by Cai and Tan, （v.） the optimization results rev.al possible drawback. of v.R-based risk.management that a heav. tail risk.exposure may be expressed by lower v.R.

As a result, the deriv.tion algebra of the ev.n part of M does not equal the ev.n part of the deriv.tion superalgebra of M.

Giv.n Nepal's v.lnerability to extreme precipitation(EP),it is imperativ. to conduct a comprehensiv. analysis to comprehend the historical trends of such ***,acquiring precise precipitation data for EP remains challenging in mountainous countries lik. Nepal owing to the scarcity of densely gauged *** limitation impedes the dissemination of k.owledge pertaining to EP v.riability ev.nts in *** current research on this topic is deficient for two main reasons:1)there is a lack.of studies lev.raging recently released high-resolution precipitation products to identify their EP detection capabilities,which further hinders the usability of those products in data-scarce regions lik. Nepal,and 2)most studies hav. focused on the characterisation of EP ev.nts in Nepal rather than their spatial and temporal *** address these issues,this study ev.luated the EP detection capabilities of four high-resolution precipitation product datasets(PPDs)across Nepal from 1985 to *** datasets include the ERA5 Land reanalysis data,satellite-based precipitation data(PERSIANN_CCS_CDR and CHIRPS_v..0)and a merged dataset(TPHiPr).We used v.rious statistical and categorical indices to assess their ability to capture the spatial and temporal v.riability of EP *** annual EP ev.nts were characterised by 11 indices div.ded into frequency and intensity *** TPHiPr merged dataset offered a robust depiction of monthly precipitation estimates,achiev.ng the highest critical success index,accuracy,probability of detection and a low false alarm ratio for daily precipitation detection of 0.1 mm in ***,the PERSIANN_CCS_CDR dataset exhibited poor *** PPDs showed increasing trends in EP ***,the TPHiPr dataset showcased those trends with fewer errors and stronger correlations for many frequency(R10mm,R20mm and R25mm)and intensity(RX1day,RX5day,PRCPTOT and R99p)*** results indicate that TPHiPr outperformed ot
