The men.al model that fertilizer n.trogen.(n. acts as a replacemen. for n.min.ralized from soil organ.c matter (SOM) n.eds to be revisited. Soil organ.c matter, the storehouse of n.in.soil, is on. of the most importan. in.icators of soil health. It supplies more n.to crop plan.s than.the curren.-year fertilizer n.even.when.applied at high rates. Limited research shows that the application.of fertilizer n.above the optimum levels on.a lon.-term basis deteriorates soil health by min.ralizin. SOM an. depletin. the soil n.pool. Because soil n.in.ludes portion. of fertilizer n.applied in.several previous years, year after year application.of fertilizer n.below the optimum levels will also lead to a gradual declin. in.soil n.pool or soil health. Pure an. An.imon. (Sb, x = 0.01%, 0.02% an. 0.03%) doped Bi0.5n.0.5TiO3 electro ceramics were successfully syn.hesized by a con.en.ion.l solid state reaction.route. X-ray diffraction.an.lysis showed that a distin.t 002/200 peak.splittin. appears when.dopin. percen.age chan.es from 0.02 to 0.03, referrin. to a hexagon.l symmetry. The data show the Loren.zian.decon.olution.of the 002 an. 200 peak. of the tetragon.l phase an. the 202 peak.of the rhombohedral phase. There is n. sign.fican. chan.e in.the Raman.spectra for the prepared composition. while some addition.l peak. aroun. 151, 281, 585 an. 853 cm-1 compared to the peak. observed in.Bn.. It may be possible that a morphotrophic phase boun.ary (MPB) exists aroun. x = 0.03. An.lysis of peak.position., widths an. in.en.ities of Raman.spectroscopy study also con.irmed the existen.e of structural chan.e aroun. x = 0.03 composition.
