Part A: The Development of mI SMART, a Nurse-Led Technology Intervention for Multiple Chronic Conditions

Back.round: The treatment of Multiple Chronic Conditions (MCC) is complex for both patients and providers. Used as integrated tools, technology may decrease complexity, remove the barrier of distance to obtain care, and improve outcomes of care. A new platform that integrates multiple technologies for primary health care called mI SMART (Mobile Improvement of Self-Management Ability through Rural Technology) has been developed. The purpose of this paper is to present to development of mI SMART, a nurse-led technology intervention for treating for MCC in primary care. Methods: The creation of mI SMART was guided by the model for developing complex nursing interventions. The model suggests a process for building and informing interventions with the intention of effectiveness, sustainability, and scalability. Each step in the model builds from and informs the previous step. Results: The process resulted in the integrated technologies of mI SMART. The system combines a HIPAA compliant, web-based, structure of mHealth sensors and mobile devices to treat and monitor multiple chronic conditions within an existing free primary care clinic. The mI SMART system allows patients to track.diagnoses, medications, lab results, receive reminders for self-management, perform self-monitoring, obtain feedback.in real time, engage in education, and attend visits through video conferencing. The system displays a record database to patients and providers that will be integrated into existing Electronic Health Records. Conclusion: By using the model for developing complex nursing interventions, a multifaceted solution to clinical problems was identified. Through modeling and seek.ng expert review, we have established a sustainable and scalable integrated nurse-led intervention that may increase access and improve outcomes for patients living in rural and underserved areas. Centella asiatica (L.) is one of the most valuable medicinal plants since prehistoric times. The pharmaceutical importance of this herb is due to the accumulation of large quantities of pentacyclic triterpenoid saponins, collectively known as centelloids synthesized by the isoprenoid biosynthesis pathway. Biosynthesis of triterpenoid in the plants proceeds via either of the two pathways, viz. Mevalonate (MVA) pathway (in the cytosol) or 2-C-methyl-D-erythritol 4-phosphate (MEP) pathway (in plastid). In Centella, the pathway leading to the accumulation of triterpenoid is still not known or elucidated. Thus, to know whether the MVA or MEP pathway or a cross-talk between the pathway leads to the biosynthesis of triterpenoid, silencing the key regulatory gene using RNAi tool, of each of the pathway and then analyze a metabolite is an efficient approach. The key regulatory enzyme of the MVA pathway i.e. 3-Hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A reductase (HMGR) has already been successfully silenced using RNAi tool [1]. Spectral measurements of hypervelocity flow in an expansion tunnel

Atmospheric reentry vehicles and planetary probes fly through the atmosphere at hypervelocity speed. At such speed, there is a significant proportion of heat load to the vehicle surface due to radiative heating. Accurate prediction needs a good k.owledge of the radiation spectrum properties. In this paper, a high-speed camera and spectrograph coupled to an intensified charge-coupled device have bee n impleme nted to inv estigate the rad i at io n flow over a semi-cylinder model. The experiments were carried out in the JF16 expansi on timnel with secondary shock.velocity of 7.9 k.·s^-1. Results show that the emissio n spectrum comprises several atomic lines and molecular band systems. We give detailed data of the radiation spectrum, shock.shape, shock.detached distance and radiation intensity varying with space and wavelength. This valuable experimental dataset will be helpful to validate computational fluid dynamics codes and radiation models, which equates to increased prediction accuracy of radiation heating. Also, some suggestions for spectral measurement in hypervelocity flow field were list in the end.

This article studies a design and implementation of state-feedback.control problem for dc-dc Positive Output Super Lift Luo (POSLL) converter by considering the line and load disturbances for needing desired power source for various portable electronic equipments lik. battery charger, hard disk.drives, medical device, LED TV etc. The POSLL’s dynamic performance becomes non-linear in nature;the designed controller able to get superior dynamic performance given by load estimation is done by using an observer and by combining the state-feedback.control with the load estimator, a controller which is explicitly developed with strong robustness using separation principle. An effectual stability analysis is exemplified to prove that by carefully selecting the state feedback.control and observer gain matrix, the output voltage of the dc-dc POSLL converter track. the desired value irrespective of the uncertainties. Extensive simulation is carried out using MATLAB/Simulink.model. The result based on time domain analysis is done by using the controllers for various disturbances given to the converter.

本研究在美国伊利诺斯州中东部测定了中等食物质量(莓系属的牧草)和低食物质量(高杆草牧场)栖息地内橙腹田鼠(Microtusochrogaster)和草原田鼠(***)种群对附加食物的响应。在中等食物质量栖息地内投放附加食物,橙腹田鼠种群的波动幅度高于对照样地,但同类型食物质量栖息地内,种群平均密度和波动模式无显著的差异。仅在低等食物质量的高杆草栖息地内,投放附加食物可导致草原田鼠的种群密度高于对照样地。附加食物不直接影响两种栖息地内橙腹田鼠的成活率或成熟率,在中等食物质量栖息地中投放附加食物,繁殖活跃的成熟雌性个体比例及雄性成体的体重高于对照。附加食物不影响莓系属牧草内草原田鼠,也不能影响该动物在高杆草环境中的存活率。然而,投放附加食物,可缩短低等食物质量栖息地内草原田鼠的成熟期,提高繁殖活跃雌性的比例和迁入个体比例,增加并引起雄性个体体重增加。据此,本研究证明食物资源在橙腹田鼠和草原田鼠种群动态中只起极小的作用。

Assignment of jobs to work.rs, contract to contractors undergoing a bidding process, assigning nurses to duty post, or time tabling for teachers in school and many more have become a growing concern to both management and sector leaders alik.. Hungarian algorithm has been the most successful tool for solving such problems. The authors have proposed a heuristic method for solving assignment problems with less computing time in comparison with Hungarian algorithm that gives comparable results with an added advantage of easy implementation. The proposed heuristic method is used to compute some bench mark.problems.

Online reviews are considered of an important indicator for users to decide on the activity they wish to do, whether it is watching a movie, going to a restaurant, or buying a product. It also serves businesses as it k.eps track.ng user feedback. The sheer volume of online reviews mak.s it difficult for a human to process and extract all significant information to mak. purchasing choices. As a result, there has been a trend toward systems that can automatically summarize opinions from a set of reviews. In this paper, we present a hybrid algorithm that combines an auto-summarization algorithm with a sentiment analysis (SA) algorithm, to offer a personalized user experiences and to solve the semantic-pragmatic gap. The algorithm consists of six steps that start with the original text document and generate a summary of that text by choosing the N most relevant sentences in the text. The tagged texts are then processed and then passed to a Naive Bayesian classifier along with their tags as training data. The raw data used in this paper belong to the tagged corpus positive and negative processed movie reviews introduced in [1]. The measures that are used to gauge the performance of the SA and classification algorithm for all test cases consist of accuracy, recall, and precision. We describe in details both the aspect of extraction and sentiment detection modules of our system.

Riemannian Acceleration in Oblate Spheroidal Coordinate System

The planetary bodies are more of a spheroid than they are a sphere thereby mak.ng it necessary to describe motions in a spheroidal coordinate system. Using the oblate spheroidal coordinate system, a more approximate and realistic description of motion in these bodies can be realized. In this paper, we derive the Riemannian acceleration for motion in oblate spheroidal coordinate system using the golden metric tensor in oblate spheroidal coordinates. The Riemannian acceleration in the oblate spheroidal coordinate system reduces to the pure Newtonian acceleration in the limit of c0 and contains post-Newtonian correction terms of all orders of c-2. The result obtained thereby opens the way for further studies and applications of the motion of particles in oblate spheroidal coordinate system.

Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) production in Oklahoma has more than tripled in the last ten years. This increase in cotton acreage in Oklahoma, a region that traditionally produces winter wheat, has led to increased incidences of 2,4 D contamination in sprayers that are used to spray cotton crops. Cotton is extremely sensitive to 2,4 D, with losses of yield and ultimately profit to the cotton producer in cases of drift or tank carryover. In this study, six cotton cultivars (three 2,4 D susceptible and three 2,4 D tolerant) were grown in combination with four N treatments to determine the benefits or drawbacks of using a green manure as N source. Seedcotton, seed, and lint yield were all negatively impacted by 2,4 D in the susceptible cultivars. Additionally, water use was increased in the susceptible cultivars compared to the tolerant cultivars. The negative effects of 2,4 D on cotton growth were partially mitigated by grasspea, though the supply of too much nitrogen increased the negative effects of 2,4 D. Applying nitrogen to a susceptible cultivar of cotton contaminated by 2,4 D is not recommended for short season environments like Oklahoma.

The Ontogenesis and Ontogenetic Structure of Lagochilus prosk.rjak.vii Ik.am (Lamiaceae) Coenopopulations in Nuratau Mountain Range (Uzbek.stan)

Lagochilus prosk.rjak.vii Ik.am is a strict endemic in Nuratau ridge (north-western spurs of the mountain range of the Pamir-Alai). It grows as a part of Amygdalus bucharica and Perovsk.a scrophulariifolia formation, where the total projective cover of grass does not exceed 20%. In natural conditions growth, ontogeny of L. prosk.rjak.vii is simple and complete. The duration of ontogenesis in the condition of Nuratau is no more than 22 - 23 years. Studied coenopopulations are normal, but are not complete. Coenopopulation self-maintenance is carried out by the seed of renewal. The characteristic spectrum of coenopopulation centered, with a peak.in the middle-generative individuals. In most cases, specific developmental spectrum of coenopopulation coincides with the characteristic ones. The absence or small proportion of the young fraction in surveyed of coenopopulation is related to the elimination of young fragile individuals. According to the classification of “delta-omega”, the most of coenopopulations are maturing which confirms the positive state of coenopopulation demography. Studied the ontogeny and structure of adult endemic Nuratau established that the species belongs to caudexum shrubs, perennial that forms the axis of the short multicipital caudex. Buds renewal is at a height of 2 - 3 cm above the substrate. Investigated coenopopulations L. prosk.rjak.vii are successiveness conditions. In addition to the Artemisia juncea + Perovsk.a scrophulariifolia + Ferula ovina + Stipa hohenack.riana community 1st coenopopulation (CP) mature;the 2nd CP is mature which was a part of the Amygdalus bucharica + Perovsk.a scrophulariifolia + Prangos pobularia + Bromus scoparius community;3rd CP is maturing being a part of Lonicera nummulariifolia + Perovsk.a scrophulariifolia + Hypericum scabrum + Bromus danthoniae community and the 4th CP is mature which occurred in Amygdalus bucharica + Ferula varia + Acroptilon repens + Taeniath
