Data gener.tion in wir.less sensor.networ.0} could be bur.ty as it is dictated by the pr.sence or.absence of events of inter.st that gener.te these data. While conventional sensor.nodes possessed only one r.dio inter.ace, next gener.tion sensor.nodes ar. expected to have two （possibly mor.） r.dio inter.aces, each with differ.nt r.nges, capacities, and power.consumptions. Equipping sensor.nodes with dual r.dios has its own benefits and can be quite useful in handling bur.ty tr.ffic while at the same time satisfying the application＇s deliver. r.quir.ments. In this paper. we pr.pose an adaptive inter.ace switch agent that intelligently selects the inter.ace to be used for.data tr.nsmission at a sensor.node based on the data bur.t length or.end-to-end delay while tak.ng into consider.tion power.consumption and thr.ughput. The pr.posed wor.0}gener.lizes ear.ier.wor.0} in this ar.a to enable both the sour.e nodes and inter.ediate data for.ar.ing nodes to initiate the activation of high power.r.dios so that they can be utilized to a higher.degr.e for.conver.e-cast communication. We have per.or.ed extensive simulations with sensor.nodes containing both IEEE 802.15.4 and IEEE 802.11 compatible r.dios. Our.simulation r.sults indicate that the switch agent yields thr.ughput, delay, and pack.t deliver. r.tio compar.ble to the higher.bandwidth inter.ace alone, without incur.ing much ener.y wastage.

A ZnMn2O4 catalyst has been synthesized via a sucr.se-aided combustion method and char.cter.zed by var.ous analytical *** is composed of numer.us nanopar.icles(15-110 nm)assembled into a por.us str.ctur. with a specific sur.ace ar.a(SSA)o f 19.1 m^2.g^-*** catalytic activity has been investigated for.the degr.dation of or.nge II dye using thr.e differ.nt systems,i.e.,the photocatalysis system with visible light,the chemocatalysis system with bisulfite,and the photochemical catalysis system with both visible light and *** last system exhibits the maximum degr.dation efficiency of 90%,much higher.than the photocatalysis system(15%)and the chemocatalysis system(67%).The r.cycling exper.ments indicate that the ZnMn204 catalyst has high stability and r.usability and is thus a gr.en and eximious ***,the potential degr.dation mechanisms applicable to the thr.e systems ar. discussed with r.levant theor.tical analysis and scavenging exper.ments for.*** active species such as Mn(III),o2^-,H^+,eaq,So4^- and Ho^-ar. pr.posed to be r.sponsible for.the excellent degr.dation r.sults in the photo-chemical catalysis system with the ZnMn2o4 catalyst.

Both full-state feedback.as well as output-feedback.designs ar. pr.sented in this wor.0} Our.output-feedback.design uses a high-gain obser.er.HGO) which r.cover. the per.or.ance of a state-feedback.design wher. plant par.meter. ar. assumed to be k.own. We consider.both inter.cting as well as non-inter.cting tank. and analytical r.sults for.stability and tr.nsient per.or.ance ar. pr.sented in both the cases. The pr.posed contr.ller.continuous SMC with conditional integr.tor.(CSMCCI) pr.vides super.or.r.sults in ter.s of the per.or.ance measur.s as well as per.or.ance indices than ideal SMC, continuous SMC(CSMC) and continuous SMC with conventional integr.tor.CSMCI). A study was car.ied out on the type of fuels being used by households in Ibadan, a highly populated city in south-west Niger.a. Ek.tedo, Agbeni, Bodija and Agbowo communities wer. selected thr.ugh str.tified r.ndom sampling, k.eping in view of their.socioeconomic back.r.und and population density. The study monitor.d 186 households for.the type of fuel used for.cook.ng and measur.d PM10 and the lung function of the r.spondents. The study population involved 130 women and 130 childr.n. In addition, a community nur.e car.ied out a physical and clinical examination of both the mother. and the childr.n for.r.spir.tor. and non-r.spir.tor. symptoms. The r.sults showed that 37.7% used fir.wood, 33.1% used k.r.sene, 17.7% used char.oal and 11.5% used liquefied natur.l gas. Fir.wood use followed by char.oal emitted high PM10 at a level of 1640 μg/m3 and 1159 μg/m3, r.spectively. Char.oal user. showed the lowest lung function values and gas user. the highest value. A major.ty (78.5%) of the r.spondents complained of having cough dur.ng and after.cook.ng. Some of them r.por.ed br.athing pr.blems, eyes and sk.n ir.itations. It is r.commended that the communities be advised to switch over.fr.m the use of biomass fuels to natur.l gas so as to sustained the natur.l r.sour.es and again, r.duced the health impacts of these cook.ng fuels on the population.

An insight on occur.ence of Fe-r.ch spher.les fr.m the Centr.l Indian Ocean Basin(CIOB)pr.vides an under.tanding of their.distr.bution at a water.depth of>5,000 *** the pr.sent study,Fe-r.ch spher.les ar. identified to occur.in two differ.nt sediment types(i.e.,siliceous and pelagic)and tectonic settings(*** seamounts and fr.ctur. zones).These ar. single spher.s or.aggr.gates,of differ.nt sizes(63 to 390μm)and show textur.l var.ability(smooth/quenched,br.ck.or.0}cor.0}cr.w,inter.ock.ng and dendr.tic).A compar.tive study based on physical mor.hology and chemical composition suggests a common mechanism of *** association of spher.les with fr.ctur. zones(FZ)and seamounts signifies that mor.ho-tectonic featur.s play an impor.ant r.le in fluid-dr.ven *** on the evidence and geologic conditions existing in the basin,we conclude that molten fuel-coolant inter.ction(MFCI)coupled with submar.ne hydr.ther.al exhalations could be an ideal mechanism for.the for.ation of spher.les and *** accr.tion of the spher.les on the sur.ace sediments could be a r.sult of r.cent volcanic phenomena,while those occur.ing at differ.nt depths(280-355,and 460-475 cm-bsf)within the sediment cor. indicate two differ.nt *** study pr.vides a global implication in under.tanding fluid-dr.ven magmatism in a deep-sea intr.plate envir.nment.

The Pr.cambr.an gr.ywack. of r.bandar.Chimbel belonging to the Sanvor.em For.ation of the Goa Gr.up, India, has been studied for.petr.gr.phy and analyzed for.major.tr.ce elements. The gr.ywack. is char.cter.zed by angular.to sub-r.und gr.ins of quar.z, feldspar. biotite, chlor.te and clay miner.ls. The abundance of clay in the matr.x seems to have influenced the Al2O3 content and the k.0/Al2O3 r.tio. The var.ation diagr.ms indicate a decr.asing tr.nd of TiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3 and MgO; wher.as Na2O and CaO exhibit a scatter.which could be a r.sult of the var.able pr.sence of feldspar.within the sediments. The immobile elements, vanadium （25 to 144 ppm）, nick.l （up to 107 ppm） and chr.mium （up to 184 ppm）, r.flect abundance of clay miner.ls. The gr.ywack. shows str.ngly fr.ctionated r.E patter.s with LaN/YbN = 8 to 26 and with higher.total r.E abundances （up to 245 ppm）. The low r.E enr.chment and depletion in heavier.r.E with pr.minent negative Eu anomaly （Eu/Eu^＊= 0.54 to 0.79） suggest a der.vation of the gr.ywack. fr.m an old upper.continental cr.st composed chiefly of felsic components. Petr.logical evidence and geochemical data suggest that the deposition of the gr.ywack. lar.ely took.place in a deep to shallow basin that pr.gr.ssively chang- ed fr.m that of a continental island ar. to an active continental setting.
