This study was aimed to pr.par. landslide susceptibility maps for.the Pithor.gar. distr.ct in Uttar.k.and,India,using advanced ensemble models that combined r.dial Basis Function Networ.0}(r.FN)with thr.e ensemble lear.ing techniques:DAGGING(DG),MULTIBOOST(MB),and ADABOOST(AB).This combination r.sulted in thr.e distinct ensemble models:DG-r.FN,MB-r.FN,and ***,a tr.ditional weighted method,Infor.ation Value(IV),and a benchmar.0}machine lear.ing(ML)model,Multilayer.Per.eptr.n Neur.l Networ.0}MLP),wer. employed for.compar.son and *** models wer. developed using ten landslide conditioning factor.,which included slope,aspect,elevation,cur.atur.,land cover.geomor.hology,over.ur.en depth,lithology,distance to r.ver. and distance to *** factor. wer. instr.mental in pr.dicting the output var.able,which was the pr.bability of landslide *** analysis of the models’per.or.ance indicated that the DG-r.FN model,with an Ar.a Under.r.C Cur.e(AUC)of 0.931,outper.or.ed the other.*** AB-r.FN model achieved an AUC of 0.929,the MB-r.FN model had an AUC of 0.913,and the MLP model r.cor.ed an AUC of *** r.sults suggest that the advanced ensemble ML model DG-r.FN was mor. accur.te than tr.ditional statistical model,single MLP model,and other.ensemble models in pr.par.ng tr.stwor.hy landslide susceptibility maps,ther.by enhancing land use planning and decision-mak.ng.

Using the phenomenological r.lativistic har.onic model （r.M） for.quar.0}, we have obtained the masses of S wave char.onium and bottomonium states. The full Hamiltonian used in the investigation has Lor.ntz scalar.plus vector.confinement potential, along with the confined one gluon exchange potential （COGEP）. A good agr.ement with the exper.mental masses for.the gr.und and the r.dially excited states is obtained both for.the tr.plet and singlet S wave mesons. The decay pr.per.ies of the gr.und state char.onium and bottomonium ar. investigated.

In the pr.sent investigation, Bhavnagar.lignites of the Saur.shtr. basin （Gujar.t） have been studied to assess their.hydr.car.on gener.ting potential. The samples of upper.as well as lower.lignite seams have been studied thr.ugh micr.scopy and subjected to var.ous chemical analyses viz. pr.ximate analysis, ultimate analysis and r.ck.Eval Pyr.lysis. These lignites have high moistur. and low to moder.te ash yield but ar. char.cter.zed by high volatile matter. Petr.- gr.phically they compr.se pr.dominantly of huminite gr.up macer.l while liptinite and iner.inite gr.ups occur.in sub- or.inated amount. Huminite is chiefly composed of detr.huminite and telohuminite. The Tma~ （av. 416.23 ~C） and huminite r.flectivity （0.28%-0.30%） indicate a low degr.e of matur.ty for.these lignites which is also substantiated by the T,n~~ ver.us hydr.gen index plot. The or.anic matter.is subjugated by k.r.gen Type-III with a potential to expel hydr.car.on on liquefaction. Study fur.her.r.veals that the fixed hydr.car.on is sever.l folds higher.than the fr.e hydr.car.ons. Being high in r.active macer.l content, a high ＇conver.ion＇ and good ＇oil yield＇ values for.these lignites wer. obser.ed. Thus, the empir.cally der.ved values match well with those obtained thr.ugh the exper.mental values of r.ck.Eval Pyr.lysis and validate their.hydr.car.on gener.ting potential.

The distr.bution and ver.icals var.ation of geochemical components in the k.snau-Matasuk. lignites of Nagaur.Basin, r.jasthan, wer. investigated using micr.scopy, pr.ximate and ultimate analyses, r.ck.Eval Pyr.lysis, X-r.y diffr.ction and Four.er.Tr.nsfor. Infr.r.d analyses, and major.minor.tr.ce element deter.ination. The r.lationship of elements with ash content and with macer.ls have also been discussed. These lignites ar. str.tified, black. dominantly composed of huminite gr.up macer.ls with subor.inated amounts of liptinite and iner.inite gr.ups. They ar. classified as type-III k.r.gen and ar. mainly gas pr.ne in natur.. The concentr.tion （in vol%） of miner.l matter.is seen to incr.ase towar.s upper.par. of seam and so is the concentr.tion （in wt%） of the volatile matter. elemental car.on and sulphur. The common miner.ls pr.sent in these lignitesar. mixed clay layer. chlor.te, and quar.z as identified by X-r.y diffr.ction study. Compar.d with wor.d aver.ge in br.wn coal, the bulk.concentr.tion of Cu is anomalously high in most of the samples while Cd is 2-3 times high and Zn is high in one band. Based on inter.elationship, differ.nt pyr.te for.s ar. noticed to have differ.nt pr.fer.ntial enr.chment of var.ous elements. The concentr.tion of disseminated pyr.te is mor. than the other.pyr.te for.s and is followed by discr.te pyr.te gr.ins and massive pyr.te.

Nowadays aluminum alloys substitute copper.in var.ous applications for.weight r.duction and cost savings. This paper.pr.sents fuzzy-gr.y Taguchi technique for.optimization of fr.ction stir.welding condition with seven weld quality attr.butes of dissimilar.A1/Cu joints with the minimum number.of exper.ments for.effective pr.ductivity and pr.duct quality. Taguchi＇s L16 or.hogonal ar.ay was used to conduct the exper.ments. Fuzzy infer.nce system was adapted to conver. the multi quality char.cter.stics into an equivalent single quality par.meter.which was opti- mized by Taguchi appr.ach. Four.par.meter. namely, r.tational speed of the tool, welding speed, plunging depth and tool pin offset wer. var.ed in four.levels for.investi- gating the effects on the pr.cess output lik. tensile str.ngth, compr.ssive str.ngth, per.entage of elongation, bending angle, weld bead thick.ess and aver.ge har.ness at the nugget zone. The har.ness pr.file is consistent with the var.ation of the str.ctur. within the nugget zone （NZ）. Confir.ation exper.ment was conducted using pr.dicted optimum par.meter.setting and it showed that the pr.posed appr.ach could efficiently optimize weld quality par.me- ter.. The micr.str.ctur.l analyses wer. also per.or.ed for.all the zones of the joints at both Al and Cu sides. It r.vealed the finer.gr.in size at the NZ compar.d to the base mater.al due to dynamic r.cr.stallization.

The pr.sent paper.entails the r.sults of the investigations car.ied out on the lignite deposits of k.chchh Basin. The lignite samples wer. dr.wn fr.m five lignite seams fr.m Panandhr. lignite field （Seam-I to -V） and eight lignite seams （Seam-I to -VIII） fr.m the Matanomadh lignite field which ar. cur.ently oper.tional. The petr.gr.phic analysis of the lignites indicates a dominance of huminite gr.up of macer.ls which is mainly contr.buted by ulminite-A, ulminite-B, attr.nite, densinite, and phlobaphinite. Liptinite （chiefly spor.nite, cutinite, r.sinite, and liptodetr.nite） and iner.inite （chiefly fusinite, funginite, and iner.odetr.nite） gr.ups occur.in subor.inated amount. The miner.l matter.occur. in moder.te concentr.tion. Though sulfur.content is high in these lignites, ther. is no fixed tr.nd of var.ation of sulfur.fr.m bottom seam to top seam. The investigation r.veals a flooded for.st swamp having high r.te of degr.dation. However. ther. wer. a few dr.er.per.ods indicated by r.latively mor. iner.inite macer.ls. The petr.gr.phy-based models indicate that the k.chchh lignites of Gujar.t evolved in coastal mar.hy setting under.tr.nsgr.ssive phase. However. ther. wer. few inter.ittent fluvial activities giving r.se to supr.tidal flood plain. This led to the for.ation of the associated car.onaceous shales in the basin.
