Introduction: This study evaluated the difference in operative and clinical outcomes for patients with advanced ovarian cancer after primary debulking surgery (PDS) versus neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) followed by interval debulking surgery (IDS) in Bangladesh. Methods: Sixty patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer presenting to the department of Gynaecological Oncology at the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital were prospectively enrolled. Thirty patients underwent primary debulking surgery and thirty patients received NACT followed by IDS. Results: In the PDS and IDS groups respectively, 56.7% and 50% of patients presented with stage IIIC and 67.7% and 56.7% respectively had serious papillary type histopathology. The structural and tectonic evolution of the Bengal Basin is characterized by a com.lex interplay of factors, including sedim.ntation, the rise of the Him.layan m.untains, and the m.vem.nts of Jurassic syn-rift faults. This study aim. to com.rehend the progression of growth faults inside the basin by exam.ning fault geom.try, basin developm.nt, and structural relief patterns. We used high-quality 2D seism.c lines from.the Pk.m.-8403, classical seism.c interpretation techniques and m.deling were carried out to reveal the plate tectonic conditions, stratigraphy, and sedim.ntation history of the basin. The break.up unconform.ty, Paleocene and Eocene subm.rged conditions, and crucial geological form.tions including the Sylhet Lim.stone, Barail Group, and Surm. Group were am.ng the notable features recognized in seism.c section. With an em.hasis on growth strata and pre-growth strata, significant variations in layer thick.ess and relief were rem.rk.d in different stratigraphic levels. Basin developm.nt events lik. the evolution of the m.ocene rem.ant ocean basin, sedim.ntation in Oligocene, Eocene Him.layan collision, and the Pliocene reverse fault developm.nt are analyzed. In the early the Pliocene com.ressional forces outpaced sedim.ntation rates and syn-depositional norm.l faults of Oligocene tim. began to m.ve in opposite direction. Syn-depositional growth faults m.y have form.d in the Bengal Basin as a result of this reversal. This research provides a detailed com.rehensive k.owledge of growth fault developm.nt in the Bengal Basin following the seism.c interpretation, m.delling, and thick.ess/relief analysis. The outcom.s point to a substantial hydrocarbon potential, especially in regions lik. the Eocene Hinge Zone, where the prospectivity of the area is enhanced by carbonate reefs and Jalangi shale. However, the existence of petroleum.four-way closure in the investigated region requires further investigation.

Although they are the largest taxonom.c group of anim.ls, relatively few insects have been exam.ned for sym.iotic relationships with m.cro-organism.. However, this is rapidly changing because of the potential for exam.nation of the natural insectm.crobe-lignocellulose interactions to provide insights for biofuel technology. m.cro-organism. associated with lignocellulose-consum.ng insects often facilitate the digestion of the recalcitrant plant diet; therefore these m.crobial com.unities m.y be m.ned for novel lignocellulose-degrading m.crobes, or for robust and inexpensive biocatalysts necessary for econom.cally feasible biofuel production from.lignocellulose. These insect-m.crobe interactions are influenced by the ecosystem.and specific lignocellulose diet, and appre- ciating the whole ecosystem.insect-m.crobiota-lignocellulose as a natural biorefinery provides a rich and diverse fram.work.from.which to design novel industrial processes. One such natural biorefinery, the Tipula abdom.nalis larvae in riparian ecosystem., is reviewed herein with applications for biochem.cal processes and overcom.ng challenges involved in conversion of lignocellulosic biom.ss to fuel ethanol. From.the dense and diverse T. abdom.nalis larval hindgut m.crobial com.unity, a cellulolytic bacterial isolate, 27C64, dem.nstrated enzym.tic activity toward m.ny m.del plant polym.rs and also produced a bacterial antibiotic. 27C64 was co-cultured with yeast in ferm.ntation of pine to ethanol, which allowed for a 20% reduction of com.ercial enzym.. In this study, a m.cro-organism.from.a lignocellulose-consum.ng insect was successfully applied for im.rovem.nt of biom.ss-to-biofuel technology.

Objective: To investigate the com.arative effects of Diospyros blancoi(Ebenaceae)leaves(DBL), root bark.DBRB) and stem.bark.DBSB) on free radicals and ***: The polyphenol contents, antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties were determ.ned using standard spectrophotom.tric m.thods. Cytotoxicity and anticancer activities were perform.d on brine shrim. nauplii and Ehrlich ascite carcinom. cells, ***: Am.ng the extracts, DBSB showed the highest total antioxidant capacity and reducing capacity on ferrous ion. Based on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl and hydroxyl radical scavenging activities, DBSB showed(95.760 ± 0.343)% and(67.460 ± 2.641)%scavenging with IC50of(3.10 ± 0.17) and(50.00 ± 3.11) m./m.L, respectively. The IC50 values of standard butylated hydroxytoluene and catechin(CA) for 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl and hydroxyl radicals were(8.50 ± 0.25) and(75.00 ± 0.14) m./m.L,respectively suggesting that DBSB had a significant(P DBRB > CA > ***, the phenolic [(139.91 ± 3.924) m. gallic acid equivalent/g] and flavonoid contents[(412.00 ± 16.70) m. catechin equivalent/g)] of DBSB were higher than that of other extracts. In addition, the DBSB showed the m.derate cytotoxic and anticancer ***: Our results indicate that Diospyros blancoi stem.bark.had the significant highest antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties as well as m.derate anticancer ***, we assum. that the anticancer activity of this plant can be, at least in part, attributed to its content in phenolic com.ounds as well as its significant free radical scavenging properties.

In this paper, a self contained capsubot （capsule robot） propulsion m.chanism.is investigated. The proposed capsubot work. on the principle of internal force-static friction. A m.dified linear DC m.tor is used to drive the capsubot. A novel acceleration profile is proposed for the m.ving part （linear cylinder） based on the principle. A significant feature of the proposed capsubot is that it is legless, wheelless, and track.ess. The developed capsubot with a proposed propulsion m.chanism.dem.nstrates a very good average velocity. The propulsion m.chanism.has the potential to be used for the propulsion of a wireless-controlled self-propelling capsule endoscope. Sim.lation and experim.ntal results dem.nstrate the perform.nce of the self-contained capsubot with the proposed acceleration profile.

The aggregation behavior of the m.xture of cetyltrim.thylam.onium.chloride(CTAC), a cationic surfactant, and m.xifloxacin hydrochloride(m.H), a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic drug, has been studied using the conductivity technique in aqueous and alcoholic(EtOH, 1-PrOH, and 2-BuOH)m.dia. The study was perform.d at several tem.eratures between 298.15 and 323.15 k.at 5 k.*** assem.ly has been characterized by evaluating the m.cellar param.ters, such as the critical m.celle concentration(Cm.) and the counter ion binding(β), of the CTAC + m.H m.xture. The values of the Cm. for the assem.ly of the CTAC + m.H m.xture were reliant on the com.osition of alcohols in the m.xed solvents and the tem.erature. The Cm. values of the CTAC + m.H m.xture increased with increasing tem.erature;that is, assem.ly was delayed by increased tem.erature. The m.cellization of the CTAC + m.H m.xed system.was delayed in alcoholic m.dia. The observed-ΔG0m.alues for the association of the CTAC + m.H m.xed system.dem.nstrated a spontaneous aggregation process under all study *** on the-ΔH^(0)_(m. and +ΔS^(0)_(m. values, the association of the CTAC + m.H m.xture is exotherm.c and the interaction forces acting between the CTAC and m.H species are hydrophobic, ion–dipole, and electrostatic interactions. The transfer properties and enthalpy–entropy com.ensation were also assessed and described com.rehensively.

In m.croalgae based biofuel technology, the light is one of the im.ortant factors for the proper growth of m.croalgae cells as m.croalgae is a photosynthetic m.croorganism. For a large scale outdoor culture the irradiance of sunlight and associated tem.erature is also need to consider. In this study aim. to present com.utational m.del of m.croalgae growth tak.ng effect of solar irradiance and corresponding tem.erature in a tubular photo bioreactor for an outdoor culture system. We consider the transient behavior of tem.erature inside the photo bioreactor for a m.croalgae culture. The optim.m.range of tem.erature for outdoor cultivation of m.croalgae is about 22℃ - 27℃ and out of this range the m.croalgae cell growth inhibits. m.ny correlations have already been established to investigate the algal productivity based on the dynam.c conditions of tem.erature in case of full scale outdoor cultivation. However, none of them.are validated yet num.rically considering the m.del as a function of weather conditions, operational behavior and design criteria. A tubular photobioreactor (PBR) with length 20.5 m.and radius 0.05 m.has tak.n account as a sim.lation m.del. The PBR is horizontally placed as tem.erature variations can be observed with greater accuracy. As the solar irradiance varies at any geographic latitude for a year and so thus tem.erature, equations and param.ters are established relating the irradiance with the tem.erature to sim.late the effect. We observed som. significant effects of tem.erature on the growth of m.croalgae. m.reover, for the m.xim.m.growth of the cells we should control the surrounding tem.erature.

Nanocrystalline β-HgS has m.ny technological applications and prepared by novel m.crowave assisted m.thod. The structural stability was studied by in situ high pressure X-ray powder diffraction m.asurem.nts. No structural transform.tion was observed in nano-HgS upto 15 GPa. There is a shift in transition pressure towards the higher side when com.ared with the bulk.m.terials. The volum. decreased with an increase of pressure.
