The growing advancements with the Internet of Things(IoT)devices handle an enormous amount of data collected from various applications lik. healthcare,vehicle-based communication,and smart city.This research analyses cloud-based privacy preservation over the smart city based on query computation.However,there is a lack.of resources to handle the incoming data and maintain them with higher privacy and security.Therefore,a solution based idea needs to be proposed to preserve the IoT data to set an innovative city environment.A querying service model is proposed to handle the incoming data collected from various environments as the data is not so trusted and highly sensitive towards vulnerability.If handling privacy,other inter-connected metrics lik. efﬁciency are also essential,which must be considered to fulﬁl the privacy requirements.Therefore,this work.provides a query-based service model and clusters the query to measure the relevance of frequently generated queries.Here,a Bag of Query(BoQ)model is designed to collect the query from various sources.Validation is done with a descriptive service provisioning model to cluster the query and extract the query’s summary to get theﬁnal results.The processed data is preserved over the cloud storage system and optimized using an improved Grey Wolf Opti-mizer(GWO).It is used to attain global and local solutions regarding privacy pre-servation.The iterative data is evaluated without any over-ﬁtting issues and computational complexity due to the tremendous data handling process.Based on this analysis,metrics lik. privacy,efﬁciency,computational complexity,the error rate is analyzed.The simulation is done with a MATLAB 2020a environment.The proposed model gives a better trade-off in contrast to existing approaches.

The idea of linear Diophantine fuzzy set(LDFS)theory with its control parameters is a strong model for machine learning and optimization under uncertainty.The activity times in the critical path method(CPM)representation procedures approach are initially static,but in the Project Evaluation and Review Technique(PERT)approach,they are probabilistic.This study proposes a novel way of project review and assessment methodology for a project network.in a linear Diophantine fuzzy(LDF)environment.The LDF expected task.time,LDF variance,LDF critical path,and LDF total expected time for determining the project network.are all computed using LDF numbers as the time of each activity in the project network.The primary premise of the LDF-PERT approach is to address ambiguities in project network.activity timesmore simply than other approaches such as conventional PERT,Fuzzy PERT,and so on.The LDF-PERT is an efficient approach to analyzing symmetries in fuzzy control systems to seek.an optimal decision.We also present a new approach for locating LDF-CPM in a project network.with uncertain and erroneous activity timings.When the available resources and activity times are imprecise and unpredictable,this strategy can help decision-mak.rs mak. better judgments in a project.A comparison analysis of the proposed technique with the existing techniques has also been discussed.The suggested techniques are demonstrated with two suitable numerical examples.

Cloud data centers consume high volume of energy for processing and switching the servers among different modes.Virtual Machine(VM)migration enhances the performance of cloud servers in terms of energy efficiency,internal failures and availability.On the other end,energy utilization can be minimized by decreasing the number of active,underutilized sources which conversely reduces the dependability of the system.In VM migration process,the VMs are migrated from underutilized physical resources to other resources to minimize energy utilization and optimize the operations.In this view,the current study develops an Improved Metaheuristic Based Failure Prediction with Virtual Machine Migration Optimization(IMFP-VMMO)model in cloud environment.The major intention of the proposed IMFP-VMMO model is to reduce energy utilization with maximum performance in terms of failure prediction.To accomplish this,IMFPVMMO model employs Gradient Boosting Decision Tree(GBDT)classification model at initial stage for effectual prediction of VM failures.At the same time,VMs are optimally migrated using Quasi-Oppositional Artificial Fish Swarm Algorithm(QO-AFSA)which in turn reduces the energy consumption.The performance of the proposed IMFP-VMMO technique was validated and the results established the enhanced performance of the proposed model.The comparative study outcomes confirmed the better performance of the proposed IMFP-VMMO model over recent approaches.

The integration of WhatsApp,a widely-used instant messaging application(IMA),into the realm of orthopaedics and trauma surgery has emerged as a significant development in recent years.This paper explores the multifaceted role of WhatsApp in orthopaedics,focusing on its clinical and non-clinical applications,advantages,disadvantages,and future prospects.The study synthesizes findings from various research papers,emphasizing the growing reliance on mobile technology in healthcare.WhatsApp’s role in orthopaedics is notable for its ease of use,real-time communication,and accessibility.Clinically,it facilitates triage,teleconsultation,diagnosis,treatment,patient advice,and post-operative monitoring.Non-clinically,it supports telemedicine,teleradiology,virtual frac-ture clinics,research,and education in orthopaedic surgery.The application has proven beneficial in enhancing communication among healthcare teams,providing quick.responses,and motivating junior physicians.Its use in educational settings has been shown to improve learner’s understanding and patient care.However,the use of WhatsApp in orthopaedics is not without challenges.Risk. include the potential spread of misleading information,privacy concerns,and issues with image quality affecting diagnosis and treatment decisions.The paper ack.owledges the importance of maintaining professional boundaries and the need for oversight measures to ensure content accuracy.Look.ng forward,the potential of WhatsApp and similar IMAs in orthopaedics lies in their ability to streamline data collection and retrieval,improve doctor-patient communication,and address challenges lik. bureaucratic red tape and limited resources.The paper suggests that future orthopaedic practice,particularly in emergency departments,will increasingly rely on such technologies for efficient patient management.This shift,however,must be approached with an understanding of the ethical,legal,and practical implications of integrating social media and mobile technology in healthcare.

We study boundary value problems for fractional integro-differential equations involving Caputo derivative of order α∈ （n-1, n） in Banach spaces. Existence and uniqueness results of solutions are established by virtue of the Holder＇s inequality, a suitable singular Cronwall＇s inequality and fixed point theorem via a priori estimate method. At last, examples are given to illustrate the results.

In this paper,a photovoltaic(PV)fed boost inverter-based permanent-magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)-driven water-pumping system for stand-alone applications is proposed.The proposed system comprises PV panel,six switches,three inductors(L),three capacitors(C)and a water pump.In this work.the boost inverter is designed with a gain of two and thereby the direct current input required to run the motor is considerably reduced.Hence,the size of the system is reduced.The voltage gain factor depends upon the placement of the L and C components and their values.The speed reference is generated using a perturb and observe maximum power point track.ng algorithm.Vector control is employed to control a boost inverter-fed PMSM drive.The proposed system is simulated using a MATLAB®/Simulink.environment and experimental validation is performed on a PMSM laboratory prototype using a field programmable gate array controller.The simulation and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system.

In the recent era,the signiﬁcance of Renewable Energy(RE)sources in the process of power generation has attained considerable attention as it provides multiple beneﬁcial impacts without harming the environment.The Photovoltaic(PV)and Doubly-Fed Induction Generator(DFIG)fed wind turbine are employed as hybrid power sources in this study.The output voltages of these sources are independently controlled by separate controllers in an optimal manner for effec-tively maximizing the overall performance of the system.The Reboost Luo con-verter is introduced in this work.to maximize the output voltage of PV in an efﬁcient manner whereas the Grey Wolf Optimization(GWO)tuned Proportional Integral(PI)is used to optimize the converter output.The wind turbine output is fed to rectiﬁer that is controlled by a PI controller.Furthermore,a battery setup is utilized with bidirectional converter as a secondary power source to ensure con-tinuous power supply to the grid.An intelligent Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS)is implemented to regulate the powerﬂow in two directions between the battery and Point of Common Coupling(PCC).The output of PV,Wind and Battery are combined at a single point and fed to the grid through a three phase inverter.The overall setup is validated through MATLAB Simulink.and the performances are veriﬁed with the developed experimental prototype.

Removal of fluoride from water using aluminium containing compounds

Batch adsorption studies were undertak.n to assess the suitability of aluminium titanate （AT） and bismuth aluminate （BA） to remove fluoride ions from water. The effect of pH, dose of adsorbent, contact time, initial concentration, co-ions and temperature on fluoride removal efficiency were studied. The amounts of fluoride ions adsorbed, at 30°C from 4 mg/L of fluoride ion solution, by AT and BA were 0.85 and 1.55 mg/g, respectively. The experimental data fitted well to the Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms. Thermodynamic parameters such as △H0, △S 0 and △G0 indicated that the removal of fluoride ions by AT was exothermic and non-spontaneous while that by BA was endothermic and spontaneous. Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR） analysis and X-ray diffraction （XRD） patterns of the adsorbent before and after adsorption indicated that fluoride ions were chemisorbed by these adsorbents.

Objectives Chilling injury is a prominent physiological disorder in longk.ng fruit pericarp when stored under 13℃for a prolonged period.This study aimed to investigate the effects of individual salicylic acid(SA)and ultrasonication(US)treatments and of the combination salicylic acid and ultrasonication(SA-US)on alleviating the chilling injury symptoms in longk.ng fruit pericarp when in prolonged cold storage.Materials and Methods SA(1 mmol/L)and US(40 k.z,10 min at 90%amplitude,350 W)were used as individual and combined(SA-US)treat-ments to control the chilling injury in longk.ng pericarp.The various quality measures were check.d every 2 d in longk.ng for up to 18 d of cold storage(13℃,90%relative humidity).Results The results revealed that the control fruits treated with water exhibited severe chilling injury symptoms followed in rank.order by US,SA,and SA-US cases.Treatments such as US and SA alone were more effective in controlling chilling injuries than control,while only minimal signifi-cant differences were noticed between them.On the other hand,the longk.ng pericarp treated with the SA-US combination had significantly increased antioxidant enzyme(superoxide dismutase and catalase)activities and decreased levels of membrane lytic(phospholipase D and lipoxygenase)enzymes and browning-inducing enzymes(phenylalanine ammonia lyase and polyphenol oxidase).Consequently,in the longk.ng pericarp,the chilling injury index,electrolytic leak.ge,respiration rate,weight loss,firmness,malondialdehyde content,changes in unsaturated and saturated fatty acid contents,and reactive oxygen species were significantly controlled by this treatment.Conclusions The present study concludes that longk.ng fruit treatment with a combination of US and SA is an excellent alternative for control-ling the chilling injury symptoms and extending the shelf-life.
