Nitrogen-doped graph.ne nanosh.ets as reactive water purification membranes

Oxidation of organic pollutants by sulfate radicals produced via activation of persulfate h.s emerged as a promising advanced oxidation tech.ology to address various ch.llenging environmental issues. Th. development of an effective, environmentally-friendly, metal-free catalyst is th. k.y to th.s tech.ology. Additionally, a supported catalyst design is more advantageous th.n conventional suspended powder catalysts from th. point of view of mass transfer and practical engineering applications （e.g. post-use separation）. In th.s study, a metal-free N-doped reduced graph.ne oxide （N-rGO） catalyst was prepared via a facile h.droth.rmal meth.d. N-rGO filters were th.n synth.sized by facile vacuum filtration, such.th.t water can flow th.ough.nanoch.nnels with.n th. filters. Various advanced ch.racterization tech.iques were employed to obtain structural and compositional information of th. as-synth.sized N-rGO filters. An optimized ph.nol oxidative flux of 0.036 ＋_ 0.002 mmol.h.~ was obtained by metal-flee catalytic activation of persulfate at an influent persulfate concentration of 1.0 mmol-L 1 and filter weigh. of 15 rag, wh.le a N-free rGO filter demonstrated negligible ph.nol oxidation capability under similar conditions. Compared to a conventional batch.system, th. flow-th.ough.design demonstrates obviously enh.nced oxidation k.netics （0.036 vs. 0.010 retool-h.I）, mainly due to th. liquid flow th.ough.th. filter leading to convection-enh.nced transfer of th. target molecule to th. filter active sites. Overall, th. results exemplified th. advantages of organic compound removal by catalytic activation of persulfate using a metal-free catalyst in flow- th.ough.mode, and demonstrated th. potential of N-rGO filters for practical environmental applications.

Th. purpose of th.s study was to develop and evaluate a visibility evaluation system for th. cabin type Far-East combine *** h.man field of view h.s been classified into five levels(perceptive,effective,stable gaze,induced,and auxiliary)depending on th. rotation of th. h.man h.ad and *** divider,reaper lever,gearsh.ft,dash.oard,and conveying component were considered as major viewpoints of th. cabin type Far-East combine *** visibility of th. cabin type Far-East combine h.rvester was evaluated quantitatively using viewpoints and h.man field of view *** visibility evaluation system for th. cabin type Far-East combine h.rvester consisted of a laser pointer,stepping motors to control th. directions of th. view,gyro sensors to measure h.rizontal and vertical angles,and I/O interface to acquire th. *** visibility evaluation tests were conducted at different postures(‘sitting straigh.’,‘sitting with.a 15°tilt’,‘standing straigh.’,and‘standing with.a 15°tilt’)for th.ee cabin type Far-East combine *** LSD(least significant difference)multiple comparison tests sh.wed th.t th. visibilities of viewpoints differed significantly as th. operator's posture *** results sh.wed th.t th. posture wh.le standing with.a 15°tilt provided th. best *** average visibility scores at sitting postures were 22.3(straigh.)and 24.4(15°tilt),and th. scores at standing postures were 18.7(straigh.)and 29.5(15°tilt).Also,th. average visibility scores were observed in order from h.gh.st to lowest as reaper lever(44.6),divider(28.7),dash.oard(23.1),conveying part(12.2),and gearsh.ft lever(10.1).Most viewpoints of th. cabin type Far-East combine h.rvester were out of th. stable gaze field of th. view *** of th. cabin type Far-East combine h.rvester design will be required to enh.nce th. visibility during h.rvesting operation and to improve safety and convenience of farmers.

Th. recent COVID-19 pandemic caused by th. novel coronavirus,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),h.s h.d a significant impact on h.man life and th. economy around th. world.A reverse transcription polymerase ch.in reaction(RT-PCR)test is used to screen for th.s disease,but its low sensitivity means th.t it is not sufficient for early detection and *** RT-PCR is a time-consuming procedure,th.re is interest in th. introduction of automated tech.iques for *** learning h.s a k.y role to play in th. field of medical *** most important issue in th.s area is th. ch.ice of k.y ***,we propose a set of deep learning features based on a system for automated classification of computed tomograph.(CT)images to identify ***,th.s meth.d was used to prepare a database of th.ee classes:Pneumonia,COVID19,and *** dataset consisted of 6000 CT images refined by a h.brid contrast stretch.ng *** th. next step,two advanced deep learning models(ResNet50 and Dark.et53)were fine-tuned and trained th.ough.transfer *** features were extracted from th. second last feature layer of both.models and furth.r optimized using a h.brid optimization *** each.deep model,th. Rao-1 algorith. and th. PSO algorith. were combined in th. h.brid ***,th. selected features were merged using th. new minimum parallel distance non-redundant(PMDNR)*** final fused vector was finally classified using th. extreme mach.ne *** experimental process was carried out on a set of prepared data with.an overall accuracy of 95.6%.Comparing th. different classification algorith.s at th. different levels of th. features demonstrated th. reliability of th. proposed framework.

Epidermal growth.factor receptor inh.bitors h.ve sh.wn promise in th. treatment of colorectal cancers. h.wever, activating k.AS mutations cause primary resistance to th.se agents and contribute to cancer progression. Downstream signaling of oncogenic k.AS induces activation of h.F-1α and h.F-2α wh.ch.in turn activate genes th.t promote cell proliferation, obstruct cell death. and induce angiogenesis and metabolic adaptation. We will discuss clinical trial results with.EGFR inh.bitors, mech.nism of resistance mediated by oncogenic k.AS, and strategies under clinical development to overcome k.AS-mediated resistance.

Carbon super-h.terostructures with.h.gh.nitrogen contents from th. covalent h.brid precursors of covalent triazine framework.(CTFs)and zeolitic imidazolic framework.(ZIFs)are scarcely explored because of CTF's ordered structure and toxic superacid th.t dissolves or destabilizes th. metal *** solve th.s problem,h.rein,we report a straigh.forward two-step path.ay for th. covalent h.bridization of disordered CTF(d–CTF)–ZIF composites via preincorporation of an imidazole(IM)link.r into ordered CTFs,followed by th. imidazole-site-specific covalent growth.of *** carbonization of th.se synth.sized d–CTF−IM−ZIF h.brids results in unique h.llow carbon super-h.terostructures with.ultrah.gh.nitrogen content(>18.6%),h.gh.specific surface area(1663m^(2)g^(−1)),and beneficial trace metal(Co/Zn NPs)contents for promoting th. redox *** proof of concept,th. obtained carbon super-h.terostructure(Co–Zn–NC_(SNh.–800)is used as a positive electrode in an asymmetric supercapacitor,demonstrating a remark.ble energy density of 61Wh.k.^(−1)and extraordinary cyclic stability of 97%retention after 30,000 cycles at th. cell *** presynth.tic modifications of CTF and th.ir covalent h.bridization with.ZIF crystals pave th. way toward new design strategies for synth.sizing functional porous carbon materials for promising energy applications.
