This paper discusses a novel method of analyzing the dielectric properties of juices at various frequencies of microwave band. The measurements were performed using a rectangular cavity with the perturbation technique at the S-band of microwave frequency with fresh juices made instantly from the fruits as well as collected from the pack.d fruit juices available in the mark.t with the normal added preservatives in order to k.ep the increase of the shelf life. From the results, it is observed in the certain dielectric properties, the fresh juices samples and pack.d juices samples were varying and also varying over a period of time. This measurement method is simple and quick.and can be used over a range of juices. These results prove a new method of determining the quality control of juices using microwave principles.

在倾斜反射界面上方采集共中点道集时,倾斜反射界面上的反射点随着炮检距的增大而向上倾方向移动。叠加速度虽是常数,但它是倾角的函数。因此叠加道不等价于零炮检距记录道。倾角时差校正(DMO)是一种将记录道转换成等价于真正零炮检距道的处理手段,使叠后偏移(MAS)等价于叠前偏移(MBS)。本文巳将与速度无关的Gardner DMO理论扩展到三维椭球各向异性介质。本文证明对均匀椭球各向异性介质的变换是准确的,作DMO校正后,叠加速度是椭球各向异性速度函数的水平分量。通过取3条不同的地震测线,可以确定三维椭球各向异性的6个常数中的3个常数。剩下的3个常数不能从地面地震测量结果得到。利用在具有倾斜对称轴的横向各向异性介质中的点散射源的简单数值模型制作了一些例子。当速度函数是椭球时,DMO处理有效,但是当速度函数不是椭球时,DMO处理是不精确的。

Balanites aegyptiaca has multiplicity of uses and almost every part of the plant is useful including its flowers, leaves, bark. root and fruit. In this study, oil from Desert date (Balanites aegyptiaca) k.rnel seed was extracted, analyzed and used in the formulation of soap and lotion. The physical parameters determined were oil content, specific gravity, refractive index and moisture content. These were found to be 45.32% ± 0.0026%, 0.90 ± 0.03, 1.45% and 0.114% ± 0.04%, respectively. The chemical parameters evaluated include saponification value (200.02 ± 0.12 mg k.H/g), acid value (2.14 ± 0.28 mg k.H/g), iodine value (104.39 ± 0.00 100/g), peroxide value (2.95 ± 0.00 mEq/k.) and free fatty acid (0.82% ± 0.01%). The oil quality assessments test indicates %FFA content of 0.84% and the fatty acids composition of the oil was evaluated using GC-MS as FAME;the oil contains about 47.52% unsaturated fatty acids. The seed k.rnel of Balanites aegyptiaca is a good source of vegetable oil. Soap formulated from the oil is considered a good soap based on the soap quality parameters determined. Lotion formulated has a good stability when subjected to lotion stability test.

沸石作为土壤结构改良基质和缓释肥料基质，对改善土壤养分向植物的供应状况有十分重要的作用，在国内外的农业生产中得到较广泛的应用。据研究资料报道，在土壤中施用沸石不会引起有效磷和肥料中水溶性磷的固定，还能改善土壤供钾状况。在CEC较小的土壤中施用，具有较好的保水蓄肥作用，可使小麦、水稻等作物增产10％左右。研究资料表明，铵饱和沸石能显著增加粉砂质壤土中苏丹草的产量和对氮的吸收，在壤土中随着沸石与磷矿石比例的增大，苏丹草对磷的吸收量增加。

This communication presents a new method of detecting the behaviour pattern in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats based on the measurement of the dielectric properties of blood plasma at microwave frequencies at different periods of time. The microwave measurements were performed by rectangular cavity perturbation method in the S-band of microwave frequency with the blood plasma collected from normal rats (Controls) as well as chemically induced rats (Aβ). A change is observed in the dielectric properties of the Aβsamples but not the controls samples at the extended period of time. This measurement technique is simple and the collection of blood from the rats is nonsurgical in nature. These results prove a new method of diagnosing Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) using microwave techniques.
