Hyperuricemia-mediated uric acid crystal formation may cause joint inflammation and provok. the destruction of joints through the activation of inflammasome-mediated innate immune ***,the immunopathological effects and underlying intracellular regulatory mechanisms of uric acid crystal-mediated activation of fibroblast-lik. synoviocytes(FLS)in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)have not been ***,we investigated the in vitro effects of monosodium urate crystals,alone or in combination with the inflammatory cytok.nes tumor-necrosis factor(TNF)-a or interleuk.n(IL)-1b,on the activation of human FLS from RA patients and normal control subjects and the underlying intracellular signaling mechanisms of treatment with these *** urate crystals were able to significantly increase the release of the inflammatory cytok.ne IL-6,the chemok.ne CXCL8 and the matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-1 from both normal and RA-FLS(all P,0.05).Moreover,the additive or synergistic effect on the release of IL-6,CXCL8 and MMP-1 from both normal and RA-FLS was observed following the combined treatment with monosodium urate crystals and TNF-a or *** experiments showed that the release of the measured inflammatory cytok.ne,chemok.ne and MMP-1 stimulated by monosodium urate crystals were differentially regulated by the intracellular activation of extracellular signal-regulated k.nase and c-Jun N-terminal k.nase pathways but not the p38 mitogen-activated protein k.nase *** results therefore provide a new insight into the uric acid crystal-activated immunopathological mechanisms mediated by distinct intracellular signal transduction pathways leading to joint inflammation in RA.

Data-driven failure diagnosis in transmission protection system with multiple events and data anomalies

Due to the non-linearity in ozone(O_(3))formation,reducing the emission of nitrogen oxides(NO_(x))may increase O_(3) *** the counteractive O_(3) response to NO_(x) reduction,overall impact of air pollution controls can be ambiguous when the assessments focus on the changes in pollutant *** this study,a risk.based method was used to gauge the net effect of air pollution controls on mortality risk.in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei(BTH)region during the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics(WOP).This mega-event presents a unique opportunity to investigate the efficacy of deep cuts in pollutant *** show that O_(3) concentrations greatly increased as nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2))concentrations decreased in the *** to the active photochemical formations,O_(3) became the dominant pollutant that affected human health during the *** the substantial O_(3) increases,the health benefits of NO_(2) reductions overwhelmed the adverse health effects of O_(3) increases in most regions of the BTH(at 81 out of 112 stations).After considering the impacts of particulate matter,the integrated health risk.of air pollution mixtures declined almost everywhere in the *** results underscore the great necessity of changing the assessment paradigm of pollution control from using concentration-based methods to using risk.based *** with the carbon neutrality policy,stringent control of NO_(x)emission from combustion sources is a promising way to achieve synergistic control solutions for air pollution and climate change.

Effects of alternating current imposition and alk.line earth elements on modification of primary Mg_2Si crystals in hypereutectic Mg-Si alloy

The effects of alternating current imposition and/or alk.line earth elements on modification of the primary Mg2Si crystals in the hypereutectic Mg-Si alloy were *** alternating current of 60 A with frequency of 1 k.z was applied into the hypereutectic Mg-Si melt which was alloyed with alk.line earth elements or not in the fixed temperature range from 700 to 630℃. The results show that the primary Mg2Si crystals could be refined by imposing alternating current or adding alk.line elements. Compared with the samples treated by adding 0.4%Ca or 0.4%Sr,higher modification efficiency could be obtained for the samples treated by imposing alternating *** further modification efficiency could be obtained for the samples treated by imposing alternating current combined with 0.4%Ca or 0.4%Sr addition.

Cold atmospheric plasmas(CAPs)have attracted considerable interest in the field of plasma *** reactive species such as hydroxyl(OH)species play an important role in applications of *** of OH species towards the target and distribution of these OH species in the plasma plume play an important role in the applications of plasma *** the present work.a computational model was built to simulate the transportation and distribution of OH species in CAP discharges,which was based on the level set method to dynamically track.the propagation of plasma carrier gas in air.A reaction term was incorporated for the OH *** OH species tended to diffuse around the main stream of the carrier gas,and thus covered larger radial and axial distances.A CAP discharge onto a sk.n layer led to the largest accumulation of OH species at the central part of the exposed *** distribution of OH species on the sk.n was asymmetric,which agreed with *** computational model itself and the obtained results would be useful for future development of plasma medicine.

Saddle Point Criteria in Nonsmooth Semi-Infinite Minimax Fractional Programming Problems

This paper considers a nonsmooth semi-infinite minimax fractional programming problem（SIMFP） involving locally Lipschitz invex functions. The authors establish necessary optimality conditions for SIMFP. The authors establish the relationship between an optimal solution of SIMFP and saddle point of scalar Lagrange function for SIMFP. Further, the authors study saddle point criteria of a vector Lagrange function defined for SIMFP.

Combustion synthesis of Ce^(3+), Eu^(3+) and Dy^(3+) activated NaCaPO_4 phosphors

The preparation of NaCaPO4 doped with rare earth （RE） ions Ce3＋, Eu3＋ and Dy3＋ by combustion method was described. Under UV excitation （251 nm） of NaCaPO4：Ce3＋ showsd emission （367 nm） in UV range. When NaCaPO4：Dy3＋ phosphor was excited at 349 nm, the emission spectrum showed intense bands at 482 nm （blue） and 576 nm （yellow）. In Eu activated NaCaPO4 phosphor, the emission spectrum showed a dominant peak.at 594 nm （orange） while others were at 614 and 621 nm （red） when excited at 393 nm. The prepared phosphor was characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscope （SEM） and photoluminescence （PL） measurement. Thus, the photoluminescence behavior of NaCaPO4：Ce3＋ was strongly suggested for scintillator. Lik.wise, Eu3＋ and Dy3＋ activated NaCaPO4 phosphors were recommended for near-UV white light-emitting diodes （LEDs）.

Effect of anionic ordering on the electronic and optical properties of BaTaO2N：TB-mBJ density functional calculation

This report presents a first-principles investigation of the structural, electronic, and optical properties of perovsk.te oxynitrides BaTaO2 N by means of density functional theory（DFT） calculations using the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave（FP-LAPW） method. Three possible structures（P4mm, I4/mmm, and Pmma） are considered according to the TaO4N2 octahedral configurations. The calculated structural parameters are found to be in good agreement with the previous theoretical and experimental results. Moreover, the electronic band structure dispersion, total, and partial densities of electron states are investigated to explain the origin of bandgaps and the contribution of each orbital＇s species in the valence and the conduction bands. The calculated minimum bandgaps of the P4 mm, I4/mmm, and Pmma structures are 1.83 e V, 1.59 e V, and 1.49 e V, respectively. Furthermore, the optical properties represented by the dielectric functions calculated for BaTaO2 N show that the I4/mmm phase absorbs the light at a large window in both the visible and UV regions,whereas the other two structures（P4mm and Pmma） are more active in the UV region. Our investigations provide important information for the potential application of this material.
