Over-mature beech trees (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) and close-to-nature forestry in northern Iran

Oriental Beech is the most important commercial tree species in northern Iran. In recent years wood production companies interested in felling large beech trees for profit have challenged advocates of close-to-nature silviculture who favor conservation. Our study objective was to assess the economic value of over-mature beech trees by relating tree diameter （DBH） to amount of decay. Based on the location of onset of decay, we categorized three types of decay as stump, stem, and crown decay. Trees of greater diameter （age） typically showed greater decay in the stem. Percent of decayed volume, diameter of decayed tissue, and length of decay in tree stems varied between 0.5%-64.3%, 15 cm-75 cm, and 2.0-19.5 m, respectively. With increasing trunk diameter, the propor- tion of truck decay increased. red heart and dark red heart constituted 25% and 14.3% of sampled trees, respectively. However, we found no correlation between intensity of stem decay and morphological charac- teristics of trees. Seedlings were not abundant around the bases of over-mature trees, suggesting that the trees did not contribute to regeneration of the stand. Beech trees of diameter 〉1 m do not provide valu- able round wood for industries and cause to raise wood production costs. We recommend that these trees 〉1 m DBH should be retained in forest stands because of their low commercial value but high ecological and conservational values such as maintaining biodiversity in forest ecosystems.

A Novel Optimized Language-Independent Text Summarization Technique

A substantial amount of textual data is present electronically in several *** texts directed the gear to information *** is essential to remove this redundancy and decrease the reading time of these ***,we need a computerized text summarization technique to extract relevant information from group of text documents with correlated *** paper proposes a language-independent extractive summarization *** proposed technique presents a clustering-based optimization *** clustering technique determines the main subjects of the text,while the proposed optimization technique minimizes redundancy,and maximizes *** are devised and evaluated using BillSum dataset for the English language,MLSUM for German and russian and Mawdoo3 for the Arabic *** experiments are evaluated using rOUGE *** results showed the effectiveness of the proposed technique compared to other language-dependent and languageindependent summarization *** technique achieved better rOUGE metrics for all the utilized *** technique accomplished an F-measure of 41.9%for rouge-1,18.7%for rouge-2,39.4%for rouge-3,and 16.8%for rouge-4 on average for all the dataset using all three *** system also exhibited an improvement of 26.6%,35.5%,34.65%,and 31.54%*** recent model contributed in the summarization of BillSum in terms of rOUGE metric *** model’s performance is higher than the comparedmodels,especially in themetric results ofrOUGE_2which is bi-gram matching.

The accuracy of the statistical learning model depends on the learning technique used which in turn depends on the dataset’s *** most research studies,the existence of missing values(MVs)is a vital *** addition,any dataset with MVs cannot be used for further analysis or with any data driven tool especially when the percentage of MVs are *** this paper,the authors propose a novel algorithm for dealing with MVs depending on the feature selec-tion(FS)of similarity classiﬁer with fuzzy entropy *** proposed algo-rithm imputes MVs in cumulative *** candidate feature to be manipulated is selected using similarity classiﬁer with Parkash’s fuzzy entropy *** predictive model to predict MVs within the candidate feature is the Bayesian ridge regression(Brr)***,any imputed features will be incorporated within the Brr equation to impute the MVs in the next chosen incomplete *** proposed algorithm was compared against some practical state-of-the-art imputation methods by conducting an experiment on four medical datasets which were gathered from several databases repository with MVs gener-ated from the three missingness *** evaluation metrics of mean abso-lute error(MAE),root mean square error(rMSE)and coefﬁcient of determination(r2 score)were used to measure the *** results exhibited that perfor-mance vary depending on the size of the dataset,amount of MVs and the missing-ness mechanism ***,compared to other methods,the results showed that the proposed method gives better accuracy and less error in most cases.

Hazardous incidences have significant influences on human life,and fire is one of the foremost causes of such hazard in most *** prediction and classification model from a set of fire images can decrease the risk of losing human lives and *** promotion of fire emergency can be of great ***,construction of these prediction models is relevant and *** article proposes an operative fire prediction model that depends on a prediction unit embedded in the processor UDOO BOLT V8 hardware to predict fires in real time.A fire image database is improved to enhance the images quality prior to classify them as either fire or *** proposed deep learning-based Very Deep Convolutional Networks Visual Geometry Group(VGG-16)model(Parallel VGG-16)is an enhanced version of the VGG-16 model,by incorporating parallel convolution layers and a fusion module for better *** experimental results validate the performance of the Parallel VGG-16 which achieves an accuracy of 97%,compared to the compared state-of-the-art ***,we integrate the prediction module into a UDOO BOLT V8 computer,which precisely controlled the fire alarm so that it can cautious people from fire in real *** this paper we propose a complete fire prediction model using a camera and the UDOO BOLT V8 embedded *** experiments validate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed fire model.

Deep Learning Prediction Model for NiCrAlY Diffusion Barrier Thickness for Tungsten Wires

In the last decades,technology has used Copper for IC interconnect and it has been the best material used in the wire ***,Copper is now showing inefficiency as downscaling is getting *** research starts to show Tungsten(W)as a possible replacement,for its better downsizing *** scaling-down of interconnects dimension has to be augmented with thin diffusion *** is crucial to subdue tungsten diffusion in the nickel-based thermal spray Flexicord(NiCrAlY)coating ***,diffusion barriers with thicknesses less than 4.3 nm do not to execute *** the introduction of two dimensional layers,hexagonal boron has been recommended as a substitute for Tungsten diffusion barrier layers with thicknesses less than 1.5 Nano meters(nm).Nevertheless,vacancies flaws may develop into a Tungsten dissemination path,which is a problematic issue in the manufacturing of diffusion *** energy layer density,of Tungsten atom diffusion via a di-vacancy in NiCrAlY,is computed by density functions *** has complex energy barrier which is thicker than other materials such as *** is due to the sturdier contact and charge variance of NI and Cr in ***,we utilize the energy barriers of several vacancy constructions and produce a dataset to be employed in the proposed 3-imensional deep learning model(3D-DNN).Our trained deep learning neural model can predict the energy barrier of Tungsten diffusion through arbitrarily configured NiCrAlY with accuracy greater than 98.4%in 5×5 *** results generate directors on selecting barriers through energy computation.

A new model is developed to study the microwave/mm wave characteristics of two-terminal GaNbased transfer electron devices（TEDs）,namely a Gunn diode and an impact avalanche transit time（IMPATT） *** characteristics such as device efficiency and the microwave power generated are computed and compared at D-band（140 GHz center frequency） to see the potentiality of each device under the same operating *** is seen that GaN-based IMPATT devices surpass the Gunn diode in the said frequency region.

A two-parameter multiple shooting method and its application to the natural vibrations of non-prismatic multi-segment beams

This paper presents an enhanced version of the standard shooting method that enables problems with two unknown parameters to be solved.A novel approach is applied to the analysis of the natural vibrations of Euler-Bernoulli *** proposed algorithm,named as two-parameter multiple shooting method,is a new powerful numerical tool for calculating the natural frequencies and modes of multi-segment prismatic and non-prismatic beams with different boundary *** impact of the axial force and additional point masses is also taken into *** to the fact that the method is based directly on the fourth-order ordinary differential equation,the structures do not have to be divided into many small elements to obtain an accurate enough solution,even though the geometry is very *** verify the proposed method,three different examples are considered,i.e.,a three-segment non-prismatic beam,a prismatic column subject to non-uniformly distributed compressive loads,and a two-segment beam with an additional point *** analyses are carried out with the software *** results are compared with the solutions computed by the commercial finite element program *** agreement is achieved,which confirms the correctness and high effectiveness of the formulated algorithm.

Barut-Girardello and Gilmore-Perelomov coherent states for pseudoharmonic oscillators and their nonclassical properties: Factorization method

In this paper we try to introduce the ladder operators associated with the pseudoharmonic oscillator, after solving the corresponding Schrrdinger equation by using the factorization method. The obtained generalized raising and lowering operators naturally lead us to the Dirac representation space of the system which is much easier to work with, in comparison to the functional Hilbert space. The SU（1, 1） dynamical symmetry group associated with the considered system is exactly established through investigating the fact that the deduced operators satisfy appropriate commutation relations. This result enables us to construct two important and distinct classes of Barut-Girardello and Gilmore-Perelomov coherent states associated with the system. Finally, their identities as the most important task are exactly resolved and some of their nonclassical properties are illustrated, numerically.
