We present new diagnostics for use in optical laser pump-X-ray Free Electron Laser(XFEL)probe experiments to monitor dimensions,intensity profile and focusability of the XFEL beam and to control initial quality and homogeneity of targets to be driven by optical laser *** developing X-ray imaging,based on the use of an LiF crystal detector,we were able to measure the distribution of energy inside a hard X-ray beam with unprecedented high spatial resolution(~1 mm)and across a field of view larger than some *** diagnostic can be used in situ,provides a very high dynamic range,has an extremely limited cost,and is relatively easy to be implemented in pump-probe *** proposed methods were successfully applied in pump-probe experiments at the SPring-8 Angstrom Compact free electron LAser(SACLA)XFEL facility and its potential was demonstrated for current and future High Energy Density Science experiments.

We observe surface plasmon polariton （SPP） refraction on a metal heterostructured sample with a scattered-type scanning near-field optical microscope （SNOM）. The sample consists of AI and Au in-plane whose boundary is smooth enough with proper etching time. SPPs excited on the AI film travel to the boundary and a portion of SPPs propagates into the Au film. In addition, interference fringes appear in the SNOM image bent at the boundary. The result is analysed with effective index method and the refracted angle is explained by Shell＇s law.

Japanese eel(Anguilla japonica)and chub mackerel(Scomber japonicus)are commercially valuable species in Asian *** reduction in eel and chub mackerel resources has been a serious problem in recent years that should be addressed by reducing the catch of their natural populations to halt their decline and reach the Sustainable Development ***,securing sufficient food supply by aquaculture is an important step in addressing the increasing demand for fish products in recent ***,juveniles of the Japanese eel and chub mackerel have been captured to be raised in *** to the extensive research on these species,new technologies have been developed for full-lifecycle aquaculture of Japanese eel in 2011 and chub mackerel in *** technologies are expected to stop the decline of natural resources and provide a stable food ***,seed production of these species has increased owing to the development of successful broodstock management and larval rearing *** information on oocyte maturation and ovulation and its application for artificial induction of sexual maturation is needed to produce good quality seeds of the Japanese eel and chub ***,hormonal mechanisms and previously and newly developed methods for artificial seed production have been described.

当帕金森患者出现临床症状时,其黑质致密部的绝大部分多巴胺神经元已发生退行性改变。这提示可能存在某些代偿机制,延缓了临床症状的出现。本研究制作6-羟多巴胺诱导的偏侧帕金森大鼠模型,观察位于黑质下网状部和苍白球的激活的小胶质细胞在代偿机制中的作用。研究发现,在偏侧帕金森大鼠中,黑质下网状部聚集的激活的小胶质细胞远多于苍白球中。激活的小胶质细胞胞体增大并表达吞噬物标志物CD68和NG2蛋白多糖。激活的小胶质细胞聚集在黑质下网状部的特定部位,该部位的突触蛋白I和突触后密集蛋白95的表达降低。活化的小胶质细胞吞噬突触前、后膜上的各种蛋白,包括NMDA受体。将红色荧光标记物Di I作为顺行示踪剂注入丘脑底核,可见黑质下网状部和苍白球内的细胞吞噬了Di I。在谷氨酸刺激下,原代培养的小胶质细胞吞噬活动增强,编码吞噬相关因子的m RNA转录水平也增加。人工合成的糖皮质激素地塞米松可以减弱这种改变。给PD大鼠皮下注射地塞米松,可以抑制黑质下网状部小胶质细胞的活化,运动功能障碍进一步加重,谷氨酸能突触转录m RNA增加,GABA能突触转录m RNA水平未增加。这些发现提示,当谷氨酸能神经元活动增强时,黑质下网状部和苍白球的小胶质细胞活化,选择性吞噬丘脑底核的谷氨酸能突触。因此,在基底核区可能存在一个负反馈环路,间接地代偿了由于多巴胺能神经元丢失而导致的功能障碍。小胶质细胞在这个负反馈环路中扮演了重要的角色。

Limited resources of fossil energy require the search for new energy conversion processes and the increase of the efficiency of power plants to ensure the energy household in the future. Basically, changing the combustion mode from steady to pulse combustion makes an enormous reduction of fuel consumption possible. Active control systems for pulse combustors installed into the inlet further improve the efficiency and extend the operating range considerably. The control algorithm including fuel rate- air rate -pressure characteristics and control strategies as well are presented.

Prevention of hepatocellular carcinoma: Focusing on antioxidant therapy

Oxidative stress has been investigated in the context of alcoholic liver injury for many years and shown to be a causal factor of chronic hepatitis C(CHC), nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH), drug-induced liver injury, Wilson's disease, and hemochromatosis. In CHC, it has been demonstrated that oxidative stress plays an important role in hepatocarcinogenesis. In cases with persistent hepatitis due to failure of hepatitis C virus eradication,or chronic liver disease, such as NASH, the treatment of which remains unestablished, it is important to reduce serum alanine aminotransferase levels and prevent liver fibrosis and development of hepatocellular carcinoma. This also suggests the importance of antioxidant therapy. Among treatment options where it would be expected that anti-inflammatory activity plays a role in their confirmed efficacy for chronic hepatitis, iron depletion therapy, glycyrrhizin, ursodeoxycholic acid, Sho-Saiko-To, and vitamin E can all be considered antioxidant therapies. To date, however, the ability of these treatments to prevent cancer has been confirmed only in CHC. Nevertheless, anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic effects have been demonstrated in other liver diseases and these therapies may potentially be effective for cancer prevention.
