Monolayer MnTe_(2)stabilized as 1 T structure has been theoretically predicted to be a two-dimensional(2 D)ferromagnetic metal and can be tuned via strain *** is no naturally van der Waals(vdW)layered MnTe_(2)bulk,leaving mechanical exfoliation impossible to prepare monolayer MnTe_(2).Herein,by means of molecular beam epitaxy(MBE),we successfully prepared monolayer hexagonal MnTe_(2)on Si(111)under Te rich *** reflection high-energy electron diffraction(RHEED)and low-energy electron diffraction(lEED)patterns suggest the monolayer is atomically flat without surface *** valence state of Mn^(4+)and the atom ratio of([Te]:[Mn])further confirm the MnTe_(2)*** tunneling spectroscopy(STS)shows the hexagonal MnTe_(2)monolayer is a semiconductor with a large bandgap of~2.78 *** valence-band maximum(VBM)locates at theΓpoint,as illustrated by angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES),below which three hole-type bands with parabolic dispersion can be *** successful synthesis of monolayer MnTe_(2)film provides a new platform to investigate the 2D magnetism.

The Influence of limestone Powder and Metakaolin Co-Blending on the Hydration Process and Mechanical Properties of Q-Phase Cement

A ternary system comprising Ca_(20)Al_(26)Mg_(3)Si_(3)O_(68)(Q-phase),limestone,and metakaolin is proposed,and its hydration behavior,hydration product phases,microstructure,and mechanical properties are investigated and compared with pure Q-phase *** results indicate that the ternary system exhibits exceptional and sustained compressive strength even under a 40℃environment,significantly outperforming pure *** mechanism lies in that metakaolin effectively inhibits the transformation of metastable ***,the interactions among Q-phase,limestone,and metakaolin further enhance the cementitious *** ternary system effectively addresses potential issues of strength loss in Q-phase cement application,and as a low-carbon cementitious material system,it holds promising potential applications.

With the advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI)technology,traditional industrial systems are undergoing an intelligent transformation,bringing together advanced computing,communication and control technologies,Machine learning(Ml)-based intelligentmodelling has become a newparadigm for solving problems in the industrial domain[1–3].With numerous applications and diverse data types in the industrial domain,algorithmic and data-driven Ml techniques can intelligently learn potential correlations between complex data and make efficient decisions while reducing human ***,in real-world application scenarios,existing algorithms may have a variety of limitations,such as small data volumes,small detection targets,low efficiency,and algorithmic gaps in specific application domains[4].Therefore,many new algorithms and strategies have been proposed to address the challenges in industrial applications[5–8].

Electrothermal Model Based Remaining Charging Time Prediction of lithium-Ion Batteries against Wide Temperature Range

Battery remaining charging time(RCT)prediction can facilitate charging management and alleviate mileage anxiety for electric vehicles(EVs).Also,it is of great significance to improve EV users’***,the RCT for a lithiumion battery pack in EVs changes with temperature and other battery *** study proposes an electrothermal model-based method to accurately predict battery ***,a characteristic battery cell is adopted to represent the battery pack,thus an equivalent circuit model(ECM)of the characteristic battery cell is established to describe the electrical behaviors of a battery ***,an equivalent thermal model(ETM)of the battery pack is developed by considering the influence of ambient temperature,thermal management,and battery connectors in the battery pack to calculate the temperature which is then fed back to the ECM to realize electrothermal ***,the RCT prediction method is proposed based on the electrothermal model and validated in the wide temperature range from-20℃to 45℃.The experimental results show that the prediction error of the RCT in the whole temperature range is less than 1.5%.

Deep neural network-enabled battery open-circuit voltage estimation based on partial charging data

Battery management systems(BMSs) play a vital role in ensuring efficient and reliable operations of lithium-ion *** main function of the BMSs is to estimate battery states and diagnose battery health using battery open-circuit voltage(OCV).However,acquiring the complete OCV data online can be a challenging endeavor due to the time-consuming measurement process or the need for specific operating conditions required by OCV estimation *** addressing these concerns,this study introduces a deep neural network-combined framework for accurate and robust OCV estimation,utilizing partial daily charging *** incorporate a generative deep learning model to extract aging-related features from data and generate high-fidelity OCV *** analysis is employed to identify the optimal partial charging data,optimizing the OCV estimation precision while preserving exceptional *** validation results,using data from nickel-cobalt-magnesium(NCM) batteries,illustrate the accurate estimation of the complete OCV-capacity curve,with an average root mean square errors(RMSE) of less than 3 *** this level of precision for OCV estimation requires only around 50 s collection of partial charging *** validations on diverse battery types operating under various conditions confirm the effectiveness of our proposed *** cases of precise health diagnosis based on OCV highlight the significance of conducting online OCV *** method provides a flexible approach to achieve complete OCV estimation and holds promise for generalization to other tasks in BMSs.

Simultaneously enhanced electrochemical performance and air stability of Ni-rich cathode with a modified washing process

Water washing has been regarded as one of the most effective strategies to remove surface residual lithium of nickel-rich layered oxides for lithium-ion batteries(lIBs).However,the loss of lattice lithium during the water washing process deteriorates the electrochemical performances and air ***,washing the liNi_(0.90)Co_(0.05)Al_(0.02)O_(2)(NCA) with ammonium dihydrogen phosphate(NH_(4)H_(2)PO_(4)) solution has been proposed to simultaneously enhance electrochemical performances and air stability,in which in-situ generated li_(3)PO_(4) coating layer on surface of NCA can suppress the loss of lattice ***,as a fast ionic conductor,li_(3)PO_(4) coating layer on NCA can prevent the direct contact with electrolyte/*** a result,the NH_(4)H_(2)PO_(4) solution washed NCA cathode can deliver a high capacity of131.9 mAh·g^(-1) at 10.0C rate as well as impressive cycle stability with a capacity retention of 83.1% after 100 cycles at 1.0C,much higher than those of water washed NCA(WS-NCA) *** exposed in air for 7 days,the NH_(4)H_(2)PO_(4) solution washed NCA electrode can more effectively maintain the structural integrity as well as the electrochemical performances than water-washed *** work provides a simple and effective approach to enhance the cycle stability and air stability of Nickel-rich cathode materials.

Polythiourethanes(PTU)and polythioesters(PTE)derived from renewable sources are emerging sustainable polymers for their excellent degradability and ***,P(TU-alt-TE)copolymers have been rare and challenging to ***,we report the efficient synthesis of novel P(TU-alt-TE)copolymers via the alternating copolymerization of N-thiocarboxyanhydrides(NTA)/episufides(ES)and provide mechanistic insight into the alternating chain propagation process via density functional theory(DFT)*** incorporation of ESs into traditional peptide backbone is capable of adjusting the glass transition temperature below thermal decomposition temperature,which confers better thermal processability by regulating the rigidity of the backbone and the hydrogen bond interaction among the polymer *** PTUs with tailored properties are accessible by altering the feeding ratio of NTAs and(bifunctional)***,the thiourethane in the backbone can endow interesting underwater adhesion properties to the *** the broad scope of NTA and ES monomers,this method is expected to provide a promising and general route to a wide range of P(TU-alt-TE)copolymers with diverse properties.
