The simulation of radio frequency interference(RFI) cancellation by applying a spatial filtering technique for phased array feed(PAF) is presented. In order to better reflect the characteristics of PAF, a new signal model is to add the coupling coefficient among elements of PAF to the conventional array signal model. Then the subspace projection(SP) algorithm is used to cancel RFI from the correlation matrix of the signal, and finally, the 2D power image is drawn. The power variation of signal-of-interest direction and RFI direction before and after using the SP algorithm is analyzed. The new signal model and simulation strategy can be used to test and verify the beamformer.

Recent studies have indicated that foundation models, such as BERT and GPT, excel atadapting to various downstream tasks. This adaptability has made them a dominant force in buildingartiﬁcial intelligence (AI) systems. Moreover, a newresearch paradigm has emerged as visualizationtechniques are incorporated into these models. Thisstudy divides these intersections into two researchareas: visualization for foundation model (VIS4FM)and foundation model for visualization (FM4VIS).In terms of VIS4FM, we explore the primary roleof visualizations in understanding, reﬁning, and evaluating these intricate foundation models. VIS4FMaddresses the pressing need for transparency, explainability, fairness, and robustness. Conversely, in termsof FM4VIS, we highlight how foundation models canbe used to advance the visualization ﬁeld itself. Theintersection of foundation models with visualizations ispromising but also introduces a set of challenges. Byhighlighting these challenges and promising opportunities, this study aims to provide a starting point forthe continued exploration of this research avenue.

Optical materials with circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)features have attracted a growing interest due to their crucial role in biological sensing,display,spintronics,information storage,and so ***,CPL emissions in hybrid nanoparticle systems,in particular,chirality transfer induced CPL from chiral plasmonic nanoparticles,have rarely been explored due to a lack of effective bottom-up synthesis ***,we creatively take advantage of the newly introduced chiral plasmonic nanoparticles-gold nanohelicoid(GNH)to excite the CPL of achiral Rhodamine 6G(R6G).The fabricated GNH@R6G-SiO_(2)shows obvious CPL signals with|glum|up to *** with the single GNH,the photoluminescence(PL)dissymmetry factor of the single GNH@R6G-SiO_(2)is similar,but with 25 folds higher PL intensities under different circular *** research not only offers an effective and feasible method to fabricate single-particle level CPL-active materials,but also provides guidelines on how to regulate the CPL of achiral luminophores from chiral plasmonic nanostructures,thereby enlarging the category and quantity of CPL-active materials that can be applied for photonic technologies and visualization biosensing,especially some intracellular chirality related detection.

As an essential concept to understand the world,whether the real values(or physical realities)of observables are suitable to physical systems beyond the classic has been debated for many *** standard nogo results based on Bell inequalities have ruled out the joint reality of incompatible quantum observables,the possibility of giving simple yet strong arguments to rule out joint reality in any physical system(not necessarily quantum)with weaker assumptions and less observables has been explored and proposed ***,we perform a device-independent experiment on a two-qubit superconducting system to show that the joint reality of two observables is incompatible with locality under the weaker assumption of the reality of observables in a single space-time region(or single qubit).Our results clearly show the violation of certain inequalities derived from both linear and nonlinear *** addition,we study the robustness of the linear and nonlinear criterion against the effect of systematic *** demonstration opens up the possibility of delineating classical and non-classical boundaries with simpler nontrivial quantum system.
