Layer-by-layer (LbL) strategy has been developed to form bulk heterojunction (BHJ) structure for processing efficient organic solar cells (OSCs). Herein, LbL slot-die coating with twin boiling point solvents (TBPS) strategy was developed to fabricate highly efficient OSCs, which matches with large-scale, high throughput roll-to-roll (R2R) industrialized mass process. The TBPS strategy could produce high-quality thin film without any additive, leading to the optimized vertical phase separation with interpenetrating nanostructures, as well as the enhanced charge transport and extraction. Thus, the power conversion efficiency up to 14.42% was achieved for [(2,6-(4,8-bis(5-(2-ethylhexyl-3-fluoro)thiophen-2-yl)-benzo [1,2-b:4,5-b′]dithiophene))-alt-(5,5-(1′,3′-di-2-thienyl-5′,7′-bis(2-ethylhexyl)benzo[1′,2′-c:4′,5′-c′]dithiophene-4,8-dione)]:2,2′-((2Z,2′Z)-((12,13-bis(2-ethylhexyl)-3,9-diundecyl-12,13-dihydro-[1,2,5]thiadiazolo[3,4-e]thieno[2″,3″:4″,5″]thieno[2′,3′:4,5]pyrrolo[3,2-g]thieno[2′,3′:4,5]thieno[3,2-b]indole-2,10-diyl)bis(methanylylidene)) bis(5,6-difluoro-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-indene-2,1-diylidene))dimalononitrile (PM6:Y6) OSCs fabricated via sequentially LbL slot-die coating using the TBPS strategy under ambient condition. The research provides a potential route for industrialized production of high-efficiency and large-area OSC devices.

Seismic isolation is an effective strategy to mitigate the risk of seismic damage in ***,the impact of surface-reflected seismic waves on the effectiveness of tunnel isolation layers remains under *** this study,we employ the wave function expansion method to provide analytical solutions for the dynamic responses of linings in an elastic half-space and an infinite elastic *** comparing the results of the two models,we investigate the seismic isolation effect of tunnel isolation layers induced by reflected seismic *** findings reveal significant differences in the dynamic responses of the lining in the elastic half-space and the infinitely elastic ***,the dynamic stress concentration factor(DSCF)of the lining in the elastic half-space exhibits periodic fluctuations,influenced by the incident wave frequency and tunnel depth,while the DSCF in the infinitely elastic space remain ***,the seismic isolation application of the tunnel isolation layer is found to be less affected by surface-reflected seismic *** results provide valuable insights for the design and assessment of the seismic isolation effect of tunnel isolation layers.

在宽带隙高分子给体材料中,带隙大于2.07 eV(起峰吸收小于600 nm)的超宽带隙给体由于具有出色的短波吸光特性,在三元有机太阳电池、叠层太阳电池中具有重要的应用价值,然而长期以来基于超宽带隙给体的电池效率低于13%.本文提出新的设计思路:采用烷氧基氟苯(FAB)构筑超宽带隙给体.一方面利用FAB的高芳香性拓宽带隙,另一方面利用FAB的"构象锁定"特性提高材料的迁移率,从而大幅提高超宽带隙给体的光伏性能.结果合成的高分子给体W1,其光学带隙达2.16eV,与小分子受体Y6共混制备的单结有机太阳电池效率达16.16%,这是目前超宽带隙给体电池的最高效率.

The safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly,a high-risk group for severe COVID-19 infection,have not been fully *** clarify these issues,this prospective study followed up 157 elderly and 73 young participants for 16 months and compared the safety,immunogenicity,and efficacy of two doses of the inactivated vaccine BBIBP-CorV followed by a booster dose of the recombinant protein vaccine *** results showed that this vaccination protocol was safe and tolerable in the *** administering two doses of the BBIBP-CorV,the positivity rates and titers of neutralizing and anti-RBD antibodies in the elderly were significantly lower than those in the young *** the ZF2001 booster dose,the antibody-positive rates in the elderly were comparable to those in the young;however,the antibody titers remained ***,age,and underlying diseases were independently associated with vaccine immunogenicity in elderly *** pseudovirus neutralization assay showed that,compared with those after receiving two doses of BBIBP-CorV priming,some participants obtained immunological protection against BA.5 and BF.7 after receiving the ZF2001 *** infection symptoms last longer in the infected elderly and pre-infection antibody titers were negatively associated with the severity of post-infection *** antibody levels in the elderly increased significantly after breakthrough infection but were still lower than those in the *** data suggest that multiple booster vaccinations at short intervals to maintain high antibody levels may be an effective strategy for protecting the elderly against COVID-19.

Ultrafine ordered L1_(2)-Pt-Co-Mn ternary intermetallic nanoparticles as high-performance oxygen-reduction electrocatalysts for practical fuel cells

Recent experiments demonstrated that the passivation surface via forming strong chemical bond could effectively improve the light stability of perovskite solar cells.[1-3] But, the underlying reasons are not clear. Herein, the elusive underlying mechanisms of light stability enhancement are explained in details using the first principles calculations. The small polaron model and self-trapped exciton model demonstrate that iodine vacancy defect on the surface of perovskite could trap a free electron in the presence of light illumination. The trapped electron occupying the iodine vacancy led to a significant rearrangement of the Pb-I lattice, creating a new chemical species, i.e., a Pb-Pb dimer bound in the typical perovskite of CHNHPbI. The Pb-Pb dimer distorts the Pb-I octahedral lattice and reduce the defect formation energy of the I atoms. The surface Pb site passivation can prevent the formation of the Pb-Pb dimer, thereby improving the light stability. In addition, the strong ionic bond could better stabilize the Pb site.[4]

The long-range periodically ordered atomic structures in intermetallic nanoparticles(INPs)can significantly enhance both the electrocatalytic activity and electrochemical stability toward the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)compared to the disordered atomic structures in ordinary solid-solution alloy ***,through a facile and scalable synthetic method,a series of carbon-supported ultrafine Pt_3Co_(x)Mn_(1-x)ternary INPs are prepared in this work,which possess the"skin-like"ultrathin Pt shells,the ordered L1_(2) atomic structure,and the high-even dispersion on supports(L1_(2)-Pt_3Co_(x)Mn_(1-x)/~SPt INPs/C).Electrochemical results present that the composition-optimized L1_(2)-Pt_3Co_(0.7)Mn_(0.3)/~SPt INPs/C exhibits the highest electrocata lytic activity among the series,which are also much better than those of the pristine ultrafine Pt/***,it also has a greatly enhanced electrochemical *** addition,the effects of annealing temperature and time are further *** importantly,such superior ORR electrocatalytic performance of L1_(2)-Pt_3Co_(0.7)Mn_(0.3)/~SPt INPs/C are also well demonstrated in practical fuel *** characterization analyses further reveal the major origins of the greatly enhanced ORR electrocata lytic performance:the Pt-Co-Mn alloy-induced geometric and ligand effects as well as the extremely high L1_(2) atomic-ordering *** work not only successfully develops a highly active and stable ordered ternary intermetallic ORR electrocatalyst,but also elucidates the corresponding"structure-function"relationship,which can be further applied in designing other intermetallic(electro)catalysts.

Epistasis is a ubiquitous phenomenon in genetics,and is considered to be one of main factors in current efforts to unveil missing heritability of complex *** data is crucial for evaluating epistasis detection tools in genome-wide association studies(GWAS).Existing simulators normally suffer from two limitations:absence of support for high-order epistasis models containing multiple single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs),and inability to generate simulation SNP data *** this study,we proposed a simulator SimHOEPI,which is capable of calculating penetrance tables of high-order epistasis models depending on either prevalence or heritability,and uses a resampling strategy to generate simulation data *** of SimHOEPI are the preservation of realistic minor allele frequencies in sampling data,the accurate calculation and embedding of high-order epistasis models,and acceptable simulation time.A series of experiments were carried out to verify these properties from different *** results show that SimHOEPI can generate simulation SNP data independently with high-order epistasis models,implying that it might be an alternative simulator for GWAS.

Palladium-exchanged chabazite(Pd-CHA) zeolites as passive NO_x adsorbers(PNAs) enable efficient purification of nitrogen oxides(NO_x) in cold-start diesel exhausts. Their commercial application, however,is limited by the lack of facile preparation method. Here, high-performance CHA-type Pd-SAPO-34 zeolite was synthesized by a modified solid-state ion exchange(SSIE) method using PdO as Pd precursor,and demonstrated superior PNA performance as compared to Pd-SAPO-34 prepared by conventional wetchemistry strategies. Structural characterization using Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction revealed that the SSIE method avoided water-induced damage to the zeolite framework during Pd loading. Mechanistic investigations on the SSIE process by in situ infrared spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy disclosed that, while PdO precursor was mainly converted to Pd^(2+) cations coordinated to the zeolite framework by consuming the-OH groups of the zeolite, a portion of PdO could also undergo thermal decomposition to form highly dispersed Pd~0 clusters in the pore channels. This simplified and scalable SSIE method paves a new way for the cost-effective synthesis of defect-free high-performance Pd-SAPO-34 zeolites as PNA catalysts.

Metasurfaces and metagratings offer new platforms for electromagnetic wave control with significant ***,metasurfaces based on abrupt phase change and resonant structures suffer from the drawback of high loss and face challenges when applied in water ***,the application of metasurfaces in water wave control is not ideal due to the limitations associated with high loss and other *** have discovered that non-resonant metagratings exhibit promising effects in water wave *** the similarity between bridges and metagratings,we have successfully developed a water wave metagrating model inspired by the ancient Luoyang Bridge in *** conduct theoretical calculations and simulations on the metagrating and derive the equivalent anisotropic model of the *** model provides evidence that the metagrating has the capability to control water waves and achieve unidirectional surface water *** accuracy of our theory is strongly supported by the clear observation of the unidirectional propagation phenomenon during simulation and experiments conducted using a reduced version of the *** is the first time that the unidirectional propagation of water waves has been seen in water wave metagrating *** all,we realize the water wave metagrating experiment for the first *** combining complex gratings with real bridges,we explore the physics embedded in the ancient building—Luoyang Bridge,which are of great significance for the water wave metagrating design and provide a new method for analyzing the effects of water waves on *** the same time,this discovery also provides a new idea for ocean cargo transportation,ocean garbage cleaning,and the development and protection of ancient bridges.
