Honokiol attenuates acetaminophen-induced acute liver injury by inhibiting hepatic CYP1A2 activity and improving liver mitochondrial dysfunction

Objective:Acetaminophen(APAP)overdose is a common cause of liver *** study aimed to investigate the protective effect of honokiol(Hon)against APAP-induced hepatotoxicity and its potential ***:C57BL/6 mice were administrated with Hon(10 and 30 mg/kg)after APAP(300 mg/kg)*** 1.5 h and 5 h after Hon treatment,mice were *** and liver were *** then,liver injury-related indexes,APAP metabolism-related indexes,mitochondrial respiratory chain function-related indexes,and mitochondrial membrane function-related protein expression were ***:It was found that Hon significantly decreased serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)/aspartate aminotransferase(AST)activity and glutathione(GSH)depletion,increased hepatic catalase(CAT)and GSH peroxidase(GSH-Px)activities,reduced hepatic MDA and 3-nitrotyrosine contents,inhibited hepatic CYP1A2 activity and APAP protein adducts(APAP-CYS)***,oxidative phosphorylation capacity of complex I and electron transfer capacity of complex IV in mitochondrial respiratory chain was increased,whereas the release of H2O2 in the mitochondria was decreased following Hon ***,Hon markedly down-regulated p-JNK in both cytosol and mitochondria,and obviously inhibited the release of apoptosis inducing factor(AIF)and endonuclease G(EndoG)from mitochondria to ***:Hon alleviated APAP-induced liver injury through the following pathways:Reducing the production of APAP-CYS by inhibiting CYP1A2 activity;Ameliorating hepatic oxidative stress by increasing the levels of hepatic CAT,GSH-Px and GSH;Improving mitochondrial respiratory chain function by promoting oxidative phosphorylation capacity of complex I and electron transfer capacity of complex IV;Improving the function of mitochondrial membrane by inhibiting p-JNK and its translocation to mitochondria,thereby reducing the release of AIF and EndoG.

Three-year field study on grass growth and soil hydrological properties in biochar-amended soil

Field monitoring was conducted to investigate and quantify the long-term effects of peanut shell biochar on soil-grass interaction over three *** 10 m5 m grassed plots were constructed in completely decomposed granitic *** of them were amended,respectively,with 5%and 10%biochar contents(m^(3)/m^(3))for grass growth,while the third was without biochar *** the threeyear monitoring,plant characteristics,saturated water permeability(k_(s))of grassed soil and soil suction were *** monitored results show that the grass leaf area index(LAI)and root length density(RLD)with biochar amendment were improved by 38%and 200%,*** the grassed plot without biochar,a threshold RLD existed with a value of 1.7 cm/cm^(3),beyond which k_(s) raised *** threshold RLD increased by 52%when biochar content increased from 0%to 10%.This implies that biochar may restrict the increase in k_(s) of grassed soil due to the rise in the threshold *** presence of biochar and grass can retain over 100%higher suction after heavy rainfalls,while 54%lower peak suction under evapotranspiration(ET)compared with the non-amended *** can alleviate the negative effects on hydraulic properties caused by plant growth and reduce ET-induced excessive water loss.A 5%peanut shell biochar content is recommended for the long-term management of vegetated earthen infrastructures.

为提高海岛微电网运行的经济性,以海岛微电网运行总成本为目标函数,并考虑海水淡化带来的收益,建立海岛微电网优化调度模型。利用Tent混沌映射、非线性调整收敛因子和柯西变异等三种策略对灰狼优化算法进行改进,采用改进灰狼优化算法对海岛微电网优化模型进行求解。结果表明,在调度周期内考虑海水淡化负荷的海岛微电网的运行总成本为3 086.03元,相比后者不考虑海水淡化负荷的海岛微电网运行总成本降低538.32元,经济性提高14.85%,验证了所提模型的正确性和优越性。

目的:研究甘肃不同产地党参性状、无机元素及党参炔苷(LBT)差异,分析彼此间的相关性,为党参质量评价及产地归属提供依据。方法:收集甘肃9个产地党参药材,进行性状比较,并采用原子吸收光谱法测定党参中10种无机元素含量;采用高效液相色谱法(HPLC)测定LBT含量;并统计分析无机元素和LBT含量,联合性状进行相关性研究。结果:不同产地党参性状、无机元素及LBT含量存在差异,各元素平均含量高低顺序大致为K>Mg>Ca>Na>Fe>Mn>Co>Zn>Ni>Cu;LBT含量范围为0.75~6.50 mg/g。聚类分析将其分为四类。相关性分析表明不同产地党参中LBT含量与Mn、Na、Mg含量呈显著正相关;Co含量与党参“菊花心”特征呈负相关;Fe、Ca含量与党参根头部横环纹特征存在正相关。正交偏最小二乘法判别分析发现LBT、K、Mn、Ca、Na、Mg是鉴别不同产地党参的主要成分元素。结论:不同产地党参性状、无机元素及LBT含量表现出一定的相关性,三方面联合可有效评价党参质量及产地归属。

目的对比3种人造肾积水在经皮肾镜取石术中的应用效果。方法选取武汉市第八医院2020年5月至2022年4月行单通道经皮肾镜取石术患者120例,按人造肾积水方式不同均分为A组、B组、C组。A组患者采用术前留置输尿管导管,通过输尿管导管注入生理盐水,扩张肾盂形成人造肾积水;B组患者术前留置双J管,经导尿管灌注生理盐水充盈膀胱,通过双J管返流扩张肾盂形成人造肾积水;C组患者通过静脉注射呋塞米,采用刺激性利尿的方法主动扩张肾盂形成人造肾积水。对比三组人造肾积水后行经皮肾镜取石术的一次性穿刺成功率、通道建立时间、整体手术时间、结石清除率及手术并发症发生率。结果三组患者手术均顺利完成,A组及B组患者一次性穿刺成功率、通道建立时间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),均高于C组(P0.05)。结论术前留置双J管制造人工肾积水具有一次性穿刺成功率高、通道建立时间及手术时间短等优势。

为测试草原地区驾驶疲劳预防设施的效果,研究以驾驶人在草原公路连续驾驶时的易疲劳点为基础,设计设施对比段和设施影响段2组实验场景进行实车测试,招募10名驾驶人,实车采集主动发光标志、路面限速标识、彩色护栏、彩色防滑道面与路肩黄色导流线、边缘率视错觉减速标线5种防疲劳设施影响下的驾驶人对防疲劳设施效用的主观评价问卷和心率数据,通过卡洛琳斯卡嗜睡量表获取被试在实验前和实验后对疲劳状态的自评结果,对比分析不同疲劳预防设施的影响.实验结果表明,在5种新型防疲劳设施中,彩色防滑道面与黄色导流线的防疲劳设施效果最好,边缘率视错觉减速标线次之,彩色护栏得分最低.在防疲劳设施整体有效性层面,设置有防疲劳设施的路段显著优于未设置防疲劳设施的对照路段,反映了防疲劳设施对于缓解驾驶人的驾驶疲劳会产生一定的效果.

In this paper,Lead-free based on 0.97(K_(0.48)Na_(0.48)Li_(0.04))(Nb_(0.8)Ta0.2)O_(3)-0.03Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3) with additives La_(2)O_(3)(1,2,3,4 wt.%)was prepared by the solid reaction method,and the effect of La dopant on the structural and electrical properties is *** result indicates La dopant considerably decreases the optical band gap compared to the undoped *** the other hand,La doping leads to the higher dielectric property in a wider temperature,providing possibilities and directions for the subsequent development of ferroelectric photovoltaic materials with electrical properties and low optical band gap in a dramatical manner.

An ultraviolet-infrared(UV-IR)dual-wavelength photodetector(PD)based on a monolayer(ML)graphene/GaN heterostructure has been successfully fabricated in this *** ML graphene was synthesized by chemical vapor deposition(CVD)and subsequently transferred onto GaN substrate using polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA).The morphological and optical properties of the as-prepared graphene and GaN were *** fabricated PD based on the graphene/GaN heterostructure exhibited excellent rectify behavior by measuring the current–voltage(I–V)characteristics under dark conditions,and the spectral response demonstrated that the device revealed an UV-IR dual-wavelength *** addition,the energy band structure and absorption properties of the ML graphene/GaN heterostructure were theoretically investigated based on density functional theory(DFT)to explore the underlying physical mechanism of the two-dimensional(2D)/three-dimensional(3D)hybrid heterostructure PD *** work paves the way for the development of innovative GaNbased dual-wavelength optoelectronic devices,offering a potential strategy for future applications in the field of advanced photodetection technology.

The process of entrainment-mixing between cumulus clouds and the ambient air is important for the development of cumulus *** obtaining the entrainment rate(λ)is particularly important for its parameterization within the overall cumulus parameterization *** this study,an improved bulk-plume method is proposed by solving the equations of two conserved variables simultaneously to calculateλof cumulus clouds in a large-eddy *** results demonstrate that the improved bulk-plume method is more reliable than the traditional bulk-plume method,becauseλ,as calculated from the improved method,falls within the range ofλvalues obtained from the traditional method using different conserved *** probability density functions ofλfor all data,different times,and different heights can be well-fitted by a log-normal distribution,which supports the assumed stochastic entrainment process in previous *** analysis demonstrate that the relationship betweenλand the vertical velocity is better than other thermodynamic/dynamical properties;thus,the vertical velocity is recommended as the primary influencing factor for the parameterization ofλin the *** results of this study enhance the theoretical understanding ofλand its influencing factors and shed new light on the development ofλparameterization.
