An aerosol formulation containing 7.5 mg of R-salbutamol sulfate was *** aerosol was nebulized with an air-jet nebulizer,and further assessed according to the new European Medicines Agency(EMA)guidelines.A breath simulator was used for studies of delivery rate and total amount of the active ingredient at volume of 3 mL.A next generation impactor(NGI)with a cooler was used for analysis of the particle size and in vitro lung deposition rate of the active ingredient at *** anti-asthmatic efficacy of the aerosol formulation was assessed in guinea pigs with asthma evoked by intravenous injection of histamine compared with racemic *** results show that this aerosol formulation of R-salbutamol sulfate met all the requirements of the new EMA guidelines for *** efficacy of a half-dose of R-salbutamol equaled that of a normal dose of racemic salbutamol.

Understanding how ecological processes affect phenotypic evolution has been and continues to be an important goal of ecology and evolutionary biology. Interspecific competition for resources can be a selective force driving phenotypic differentiation that reduces competition among sympatric species (character divergence), enabling closely-related species to coexist. However, although patterns of character divergence are well documented in both empirical and theoretical researches, how local adaptation to abiotic environment affects trait evolution in the face of interspecific competition is less known. Here, we investigate how patterns in morphological traits of 2 parapatric frog species, Feirana quadranus and F. taihangnica, vary among allopatric and sympatric regions using range-wide data derived from extensive field surveys. Feirana quadranus was overall larger than F. taihangnica in body size (i.e., snout-vent length [SVL]), and the difference between SVL of both species in sympatry was larger than that in allopatry. From allopatry to sympatry, the 2 species diverged in foot and hand traits, but converged in eye size and interorbital span, even when we controlled for the effects of geographic gradients. Sympatric divergence in SVL, hand and foot traits is likely acting as a case of evolutionary shift caused by interspecific competition. In contrast, sympatric convergence of eye-related traits may derive at least partly from adaptation to local environments. These results imply the relative roles of interspecific competition and local adaptation in shaping phenotypic diversification. Our findings illustrate how traits evolve in parapatric species pair due to sympatric divergent and convergent evolution. It thus provides insights into understanding underlying evolutionary processes of parapatric species, that is, competition and local adaptation.

Metallic antimony(Sb) has been attracted much attentions as anode for lithium-ion batteries due to its high ***,the large volume expansion during the lithiation process leads to poor electrochemical performance,which seriously limits the practical application in lithium-ion ***,NiSb nanoparticles encapsulated by carbon nanosheets have been developed via a facile strategy and as anode for lithium-ion *** this attractive structure,the carbon nanosheets can effectively avoid volume change of NiSb nanoparticles and inhibit the direct contact of NiSb nanoparticles to the electrolyte during the lithiation/delithiation *** a result,the NiSb/C nanosheets display an outstanding long cycling performance(405 mA h g-1 after 1000 cycles at 1.0 A g-1) and excellent rate capability(305 mA h g-1 at 2.0 A g-1) when application in lithium-ion batteries.

基于文本的行人检索任务旨在以文本为查询在大规模数据库中检索出目标行人的图像,在处理社会公共安全问题中具有较高的实用价值.不同于常规的跨模态检索任务,该任务中所有的类别都是行人,不同行人之间的外观差异较小,难以辨别;此外由于拍摄条件的限制图像质量通常较差,因此如何有效地提取更鲁棒、更具有判别性的视觉特征是该任务的一项重要挑战.为了应对这一挑战,设计了一种基于自监督学习的文本行人检索算法,以多任务学习的形式将自监督学习与基于文本的行人检索任务相结合,对两种任务同时进行训练,共享模型参数.其中,自监督任务作为辅助任务,旨在为行人检索任务学习到更鲁棒、更具有判别性的视觉特征.具体来说,首先提取视觉和文本特征,并以图像修复作为自监督任务,旨在学习更丰富的语义信息,且对遮挡数据具有更好的鲁棒性;基于行人图像的特殊性,进一步设计了一种镜像翻转预测任务,通过训练网络预测图像是否经过了镜像翻转学习具有判别性的细节信息,以帮助行人检索任务更好地区分难分样本.在公开数据集上进行的大量实验证明了该算法的先进性和有效性,将行人检索的Top-1准确率提升了2.77%,并且实验结果显示两种自监督任务存在一定的互补性,同时使用可以实现更好的检索性能.

生命形成的过程极其漫长,经历了地球系统复杂的沧海桑田变化。当前人类所观察到的物种分布格局的形成除了由物种本身特征决定外,还受到环境变化、人类活动以及各种随机事件的影响。受限于实验条件、时间、经费、人力等诸多因素,我们尚无法完整地观察并记录到物种多样性形成的全过程,只能通过片段化数据来推测该过程。信息科学中包括数值模拟在内的仿真技术以其高效、可控及全过程记录等优势,能从某种程度上解决物种多样性格局形成过程中的部分数据黑箱问题。本文介绍了数值模拟的概念和工作原理及在物种多样性研究中应用的特点,列举了物种生态位、扩散模式、种间互作及物种分布应对气候变化等方面的数值模拟研究,基于已有研究系统地介绍了如何综合上述数值模拟研究构建虚拟物种、气候和场景来解释物种多样性的形成与维持机制,并阐述了数值模拟在物种多样性研究中的优缺点及应用前景。

With the increasing demand for terahertz(THz)technology in security inspection,medical imaging,and flexible electronics,there is a significant need for stretchable and transparent THz electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding *** EMI shielding materials,like opaque metals and carbon-based films,face challenges in achieving both high transparency and high shielding efficiency(SE).Here,a wrinkled structure strategy was proposed to construct ultra-thin,stretchable,and transparent terahertz shielding MXene films,which possesses both isotropous wrinkles(height about 50 nm)and periodic wrinkles(height about 500 nm).Compared to flat film,the wrinkled MXene film(8 nm)demonstrates a remarkable 36.5%increase in SE within the THz *** wrinkled MXene film exhibits an EMI SE of 21.1 dB at the thickness of 100 nm,and an average EMI SE/t of 700 dBμm^(−1)over the 0.1-10 *** calculations suggest that the wrinkled structure enhances the film’s conductivity and surface plasmon resonances,resulting in an improved THz wave ***,the wrinkled structure enhances the MXene films’stretchability and *** bending and stretching(at 30%strain)cycles,the average THz transmittance of the wrinkled film is only 0.5%and 2.4%,*** outstanding performances of the wrinkled MXene film make it a promising THz electromagnetic shielding materials for future smart windows and wearable electronics.

Formate is an important liquid chemical,which can be produced by electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2) RR).Most of the metal catalysts for CO_(2) RR to formate are toxic or noble metals,such as Cd,Hg,Pb and Pd,leading to the environmental pollution or increased production ***,we develop an environmentally friendly and low-cost NiZn alloy catalyst for CO_(2) RR to *** X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) confirm the alloy structure of the prepared NiZn catalyst. As for a catalyst for CO_(2) RR,the NiZn alloy exhibits the FE_(HCOO)^(-)(Faraday efficiency of HCOO^(-)) of 36±0.7% at-0.9 V *** in 0.1 M KHCO_(3), and remarkable stability for 40,000 s at-0.8,-0.9,-1.0 and-1.1 V ***,*** calculation results indicate that the NiZn alloy exhibits the middle valence electron structure between the Zn and Ni metal,resulting in the favorable pathway for HCOOH formation but unfavorable for the hydrogen evolution reaction and CO *** Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy results verify the modulated valence electron structure for NiZn alloy as compared to Ni and Zn,consistent with the theoretical calculation *** work provides new insights into design of alloy catalysts for CO_(2) RR to formate.
