We report a composite material with the high tribological performance,which consists of onedimensional SnO2 nanotubes(ST)and a high molecular weight poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF)matrix in terms of *** of PVDF in N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF)resulted in a facile penetration of PVDF into the inner hollow voids of ST,leading to the close *** between PVDF and ST results in a beneficial effect on the chain arrangement of PVDF,providing anα-phase with better tribological *** ST incorporation,the friction coefficient decreased by 85.0%to 0.408,and the specific wear rate decreased by 69.1%to 0.412,demonstrating the pivotal role of ST as a self-lubricating material due to a large interactive area and PVDF chain rearrangement.

The CrN and Cr-Al-Si-N films were deposited on Si wafer and SUS 304 substrates by a hybrid coating system with high power impulse magnetron sputtering (HIPIMS) and a DC pulse sputtering using Cr and AlSi targets under N2/Ar *** varying the sputtering current of the AlSi target in the range of 0-2.5 A,both the Al and Si contents in the films increased gradually from 0 to 19.1% and 11.1% (mole fraction),*** influences of the AlSi cathode DC pulse current on the microstructure,phase constituents,mechanical properties,and oxidation behaviors of the Cr-Al-Si-N films were investigated *** results indicate that the as-deposited Cr-Al-Si-N films possess the typical nanocomposite structure,namely the face centered cubic (Cr,Al)N nano-crystallites are embedded in the amorphous Si3N4 *** increasing the Al and Si contents,the hardness of the film first increases from 20.8 GPa for the CrN film to the peak value of 29.4 GPa for the Cr0.23Al0.14Si0.07 N film,and then decreases *** the meanwhile,the Cr0.23Al0.14Si0.07N film also possesses excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance that is much better than that of the CrN film at 900 or 1000 °C.

The segregation and diffusion of boron during heat treatments were studied. The influence of boron contents, aging time and applied stress on FeMo2B2 formation was also studied. Finally, the effects of boron contents and FeMo2B2 formation on the high temperature strength were studied. Boron atoms were segregated to prior austenite grain boundary during normalizing treatment. And these boron atoms were slowly diffused into the grain interior during tempering and aging at 700 ℃. The FeMo2B2 phase was only formed after 1,000 h aging at 700 ℃ in alloy containing 196 ppm boron. The formation of FeMo2B2 phase is accelerated by the applied stress. It was expected that the formation of FeMo2B2 is closely related to the redistribution of boron atoms. The tensile strengths at 700 ℃ are increased with the increase of boron contents. However, the formation of FeMo2B2 phase results in lower tensile strength.

In this study, coral?like yolk–shell?structured NiO/C composite microspheres(denoted as CYS?NiO/C) were prepared using spray pyrolysis. The unique yolk–shell structure was characterized, and the formation mechanism of the structure was proposed. Both the phase separation of the polyvinylpyrrolidone and polystyrene(PS) colloidal solution and the decompo?sition of the size?controlled PS nanobeads in the droplet played crucial roles in the formation of the unique coral?like yolk–shell structure. The CYS?NiO/C microspheres delivered a reversible discharge capacity of 991 mAh g^(-1) after 500 cycles at the current density of 1.0 A g^(-1). The dis?charge capacity of the CYS?NiO/C microspheres after the 1000 th cycle at the current density of 2.0 A g^(-1) was 635 mAh g^(-1), and the capacity retention measured from the second cycle was 91%. The final discharge capacities of the CYS?NiO/C microspheres at the current densities of 0.5, 1.5, 3.0, 5.0, 7.0, and 10.0 A g^(-1) were 753, 648, 560, 490, 440, and 389 mAh g^(-1), respectively. The synergetic e ect of the coral?like yolk–shell structure with well?defined interconnected mesopores and highly conductive carbon resulted in the excellent Li+?ion storage properties of the CYS?NiO/C microspheres.

BACKGROUND Traumatic pancreatic injury is relatively rare in children,accounting for approximately 3%-12%of blunt abdominal trauma *** traumatic pancreatic injuries in boys are related to bicycle *** pancreatic injuries often result in delayed presentation and treatment,leading to high morbidity and *** management of children with traumatic main pancreatic duct injuries is still under *** SUMMARY We report the case of a 9-year-old boy who was presented at our institution with epigastric pain after being stuck with his bicycle handlebar at the upper abdomen and then treated with endoscopic stenting because of a pancreatic ductal *** We believe that endoscopic stenting of pancreatic ductal injuries may be a feasible technique in certain cases of children with traumatic pancreatic duct injuries to avoid unnecessary operations.

Color variation is a well-known feature of sea cucumbers （Apostichopus japonicus）, which are classified into three groups based on their colors of red, green and black. It is also one of the most important traits related to how they taste, and it thereby affects their market price. Attempts were made to identify single-nucleotide polymorphisms （SNPs） and to analyze differences associated with SNP genotypes between green and red color variants using HSP70 as the target gene. The HSP70 gene, which is found universally in organisms from bacteria to humans, is one of the most evolutionarily conserved genes and the most widely studied biomarker of stress response. DNA fragments of 1074 bp covering a partial sequence of the sea cucumber HSP70 gene, were amplified from both red and green variants, and subsequently analyzed for the presence of SNPs. Twenty-seven polymorphic sites in total, including heterozygous sites, were observed. Of these, six sites were found to be significantly different SNP genotypes between green and red variants. Furthermore, PCR with an internal primer designed to include an allelespecific SNP at the 3＇ end （site 443） showed differentiation between the two variants, 100% and 4.2% amplification in green and red variants, respectively. The validated SNPs may serve as informative genetic markers that can be used to distinguish variants at the early developmental stage, prior to color differentiation.

Novel high-efficiency visible-light-sensitive Nd-doped CdTe nanoparticles were prepared with various doping concentra- tions of neodymium ion by a facile hydrothermal method. The reaction products were analyzed via X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, and UV-Vis diffuse re- flectance spectroscopy techniques. Red shift was seen in the absorption band edge peak in the UV-Vis absorbance specmun with in- creasing Nd content. The XRD and XPS results confirmed that Nd ions successfully replaced Cd atoms and were incorporated into the crystal lattice of CdTe. SEM and TEM images indicated spherical structure and high crystallinity. Even at a very low Nd/CdTe molar ratio of 2 mol.%, Nd doping could greatly enhance the photocatalytic activity of CdTe. The photocatalytic activity of Nd-doped CdTe nanoparticles was evaluated by monitoring the decolorization of RRed 43 in aqueous solution under visible-light irradiation. The color removal efficiency of Nd0.08Cd0.9eYe and pure CdTe were 83.14% and 14.32% after 100 min of treatment, respectively. Among different amounts of the doping agent, 8 tool.% Nd indicated the highest decolorization. The presence of radical scavengers such as CF, CO3-, SO4〉, and huthanol was found to reduce the decolorization efficiency.

AIM: To investigate the long-term survival and prognostic factors in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation (RFA) as a first-line ***: From 2000 to 2013, 316 consecutive patients with 404 HCC (1.0-5.0 cm; mean: 3.2 ± 1.1 cm) underwent ultrasonography-guided percutaneous RFA as a first-line treatment. There were 250 males and 66 females with an average age of 60.1 ± 10.8 years (24-87 years). Patients were followed for 1 year to > 10 years after RFA (234, 181, 136, and 71 for 3, 5, 7, and 10 years, respectively). Overall local response rates and long-term survival rates were assessed. Survival results were generated using Kaplan-Meier estimates, and multivariate analysis was performed using the Cox regression ***: In total, 548 RFA sessions were performed and major complications occurred in 10 sessions (1.8%). Local tumor progression and/or new tumor development were observed in 43.3% (132/305) of the patients during the follow-up period. Overall 5- and 10-year survival rates were 49.7% and 28.4%, respectively. Based on multivariate analysis, three factors were identified as independent prognostic factors for overall survival: Child-Pugh classification (HR = 4.054, P < 0.001), portal vein hypertension (HR = 2.743, P = 0.002), and tumor number (HR = 2.693, P = 0.003). The local progression-free 5- and 10-year survival rates were 42.7% and 19.5%. In addition to the Child-Pugh classification and the number of tumors, the number of RFA sessions (HR = 1.550, P = 0.002) was associated with local progression-free ***: RFA can achieve acceptable outcomes for HCC patients as a first-line treatment, especially for patients with Child-Pugh class A, patients with a single tumor and patients without portal vein hypertension.

Despite its high theoretical energy density, lithium metal faces huge challenges in its implementation as an anode for Li secondary batteries because of its uncontrollable dendritic growth and large volume change during plating/stripping processes. These geometric changes cause degradation in a cell’s cycle life and performance and can lead to short-circuits and explosions. Here, we report a new approach to producing a LiF-rich phase on the lithium anode surface by employing a “bi-phase” separator. We fabricated it by coating polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene (PVDF-HFP) onto a cellulose separator. The coverage of coating was adjusted by varying its concentration in the coating solution. The combination of cellulose and PVDF-HFP produced a LiF-rich solid-electrolyte interphase layer on the Li metal surface via an alkyl halide nucleophile exchange in contact with the bi-phase separator during plating. Symmetric cell tests show that the bi-phase separator extends the cycle life by more than 300 h, with overpotentials of less than 100 mV under plating/stripping at 2 mA cm^(−2) for a capacity of 2 mAh cm^(−2). The formation mechanism of the LiF-rich phase is suggested from spectroscopic analyses.
