Mshpy23:a user-friendly,parameterized model of magnetosheath conditions

Lunar Environment heliospheric X-ray Imager(LEXI)and Solar wind−Magnetosphere−Ionosphere Link Explorer(SmiLE)will observe magnetosheath and its boundary motion in soft X-rays for understanding magnetopause reconnection modes under various solar wind conditions after their respective launches in 2024 and *** conditions,namely,plasma density,velocity,and temperature,are key parameters for predicting and analyzing soft X-ray images from the LEXI and SmiLE *** developed a userfriendly model of magnetosheath that parameterizes number density,velocity,temperature,and magnetic field by utilizing the global Magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)model as well as the pre-existing gas-dynamic and analytic *** this parameterized magnetosheath model,scientists can easily reconstruct expected soft X-ray images and utilize them for analysis of observed images of LEXI and SmiLE without simulating the complicated global magnetosphere ***,we created an MHD-based magnetosheath model by running a total of 14 OpenGGCM global MHD simulations under 7 solar wind densities(1,5,10,15,20,25,and 30 cm)and 2 interplanetary magnetic field Bz components(±4 nT),and then parameterizing the results in new magnetosheath *** compared the magnetosheath model result with THEmiS statistical data and it showed good agreement with a weighted Pearson correlation coefficient greater than 0.77,especially for plasma density and plasma ***,we compiled a suite of magnetosheath models incorporating previous magnetosheath models(gas-dynamic,analytic),and did two case studies to test the *** MHD-based model was comparable to or better than the previous models while providing self-consistency among the magnetosheath ***,we constructed a tool to calculate a soft X-ray image from any given vantage point,which can support the planning and data analysis of the aforementioned LEXI and SmiLE missions.A release of the code has been uploaded to a Git

Variability in the location and shape of the dayside magnetopause is attributed to magnetic reconnection,a fundamental process that enables the transfer of mass,energy,and momentum from the solar wind into the *** spatial and temporal properties of the magnetopause,under varying solar and magnetospheric conditions,remain largely unknown because empirical studies using in-situ observations are challenging to *** wide field-of-view(FOV)imaging is the only means to simultaneously observe the spatial distribution of the plasma properties over the vast dayside magnetospheric region and,subsequently,quantify the energy transport from the interplanetary medium into the terrestrial *** upcoming missions,ESA/CAS SmiLE and NASA’s LEXI will provide wide-field imagery of the dayside magnetosheath in soft X-rays,an emission generated by charge exchange interactions between high charge-state heavy ions of solar wind origin and exospheric neutral ***-cadence two-dimensional observations of the magnetosheath will allow the estimation of dynamic properties of its inner boundary,the magnetopause,and enable studies of its response to changes in the solar wind dynamic pressure and interplanetary magnetic field *** work introduces a statistically-based estimation approach based on inverse theory to estimate the spatial distribution of magnetosheath soft X-ray emissivities and,with this,identify the location of the magnetopause over the Sun−Earth *** do so,we simulate the magnetosheath structure using the MHD-based OpenGGCM model and generate synthetic soft X-ray images using LEXI’s orbit and attitude *** results show that 3-D estimations using the described statistically-based technique are robust against Poisson-distributed shot noise inherent to soft X-ray ***,our proposed methodology shows that the accuracy of both three-dimensional(3-D)estimation and the magnetopause standoff distance calculation hi

The ex-situ incorporation of the secondary SiC reinforcement,along with the in-situ incorporation of the tertiary and quaternary Mg_(3)N_(2) and Si_(3)N_(4) phases,in the primary matrix of Mg_(2)Si is employed in order to provide ultimate wear resistance based on the laser-irradiation-induced inclusion of N_(2) gas during laser powder bed *** is substantialized based on both the thermal diffusion-and chemical reactionbased metallurgy of the Mg_(2)Si–SiC/nitride hybrid *** study also proposes a functional platform for systematically modulating a functionally graded structure and modeling build-direction-dependent architectonics during additive *** strategy enables the development of a compositional gradient from the center to the edge of each melt pool of the Mg_(2)Si–SiC/nitride hybrid ***,the coefficient of friction of the hybrid composite exhibits a 309.3%decrease to–1.67 compared to–0.54 for the conventional nonreinforced Mg_(2)Si structure,while the tensile strength exhibits a 171.3%increase to 831.5 MPa compared to 485.3 MPa for the conventional *** outstanding mechanical behavior is due to the(1)the complementary and synergistic reinforcement effects of the SiC and nitride compounds,each of which possesses an intrinsically high hardness,and(2)the strong adhesion of these compounds to the Mg_(2)Si matrix despite their small sizes and low concentrations.

【目的】快速城市化引发的环境社会问题日益威胁着城市居民健康,优化配置城市公园绿地已成为特大城市建成环境干预居民心理健康的重要途径。本研究结合社会经济条件,从可达性角度分析城市绿地环境健康效益。【方法】基于“自然-心理-社会”的理论分析,运用天津市1559份居民调查数据,构建有序Logit与调节效应模型探讨了城市公园绿地对居民心理健康的影响,并考察了社会经济地位的调节效应在其中引发的健康不平等问题。【结果】基准回归结果表明,提高城市公园绿地可达性能够正向影响居民心理健康,且这种正向影响呈现出由中心城区向城市外围不断衰减的趋势。调节效应分析发现,社会经济地位在城市公园绿地可达性促进居民心理健康的关系中具有正向调节作用,社会经济地位显著强化了公园绿地可达性对居民心理健康的正向影响。异质性分析发现,城市公园绿地可达性的心理健康促进作用,在不同户籍、性别及年龄群体间存在异质性,且在社会经济地位的调节作用下,城市相对于农村、女性相对于男性、老年人相对于青年人更容易发生公园绿地可达性差异引发的心理健康不平等问题。【结论】为提升全民心理健康水平,应从优化绿地规划布局、提升绿地服务质量及强化绿地管理制度3个方面,促进城市公园绿地更加公平、高效地发挥心理健康效益。

These days,data is regarded as a valuable asset in the era of the data economy,which demands a trading platform for buying and selling ***,online data trading poses challenges in terms of security and fairness because the seller and the buyer may not fully trust each ***,in this paper,a blockchain-based secure and fair data trading system is proposed by taking advantage of the smart contract and matchmaking *** proposed system enables bilateral authorization,where data trading between a seller and a buyer is accomplished only if their policies,required by each other,are satisfied *** can be achieved by exploiting the security features of the matchmaking *** guarantee non-repudiation and fairness between trading parties,the proposed system leverages a smart contract to ensure that the parties honestly carry out the data trading ***,the smart contract in the proposed system does not include complex cryptographic operations for the efficiency of onchain ***,these operations are carried out by off-chain parties and their results are used as input for the on-chain *** system also uses an arbitration protocol to resolve disputes based on the trading proof recorded on the *** performance of the protocol is evaluated in terms of off-chain computation overhead and on-chain gas *** results of the experiments demonstrate that the proposed protocols can enable the implementation of a cost-effective data trading system.

The Lunar Environment heliospheric X-ray Imager(LEXI)and Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SmiLE)missions will image the Earth’s dayside magneto pause and cusps in soft X-rays after their respective launches in the near future,to specify glo bal magnetic reconnection modes for varying solar wind *** suppo rt the success of these scientific missions,it is critical to develop techniques that extract the magnetopause locations from the observed soft X-ray *** this research,we introduce a new geometric equation that calculates the subsolar magnetopause position(RS)from a satellite position,the look direction of the instrument,and the angle at which the X-ray emission is *** assumptions are used in this method:(1)The look direction where soft X-ray emissions are maximized lies tangent to the magnetopause,and(2)the magnetopause surface near the subsolar point is almost spherical and thus RSis nea rly equal to the radius of the magneto pause *** create synthetic soft X-ray images by using the Open Geospace General Circulation Model(OpenGGCM)global magnetohydrodynamic model,the galactic background,the instrument point spread function,and Poisson *** then apply the fast Fourier transform and Gaussian low-pass filte rs to the synthetic images to re move noise and obtain accurate look angles for the soft X-ray pea *** the filte red images,we calculate RS and its accuracy for different LEXI locations,look directions,and solar wind densities by using the OpenGGCM subsolar magnetopause location as ground *** method estimates RS with an accuracy of10 *** accuracy improves for greater solar wind densities and during southward interplanetary magnetic *** method ca ptures the magnetopause motion during southwa rd interplaneta ry magnetic field ***,the technique will enable quantitative analysis of the magnetopause motion and help reveal the daysi

Recently,simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM)has received considerable attention in augmented reality(AR)libraries and *** the assumption of scene rigidity is common in most visual SLAMs,this assumption limits the possibilities of AR applications in various real-world *** this paper,we propose a new tracking system that integrates SLAMwith amarker detection module for real-time AR applications in static and dynamic *** the proposed system assumes that the marker is movable,SLAM performs tracking andmappingof the static scene except for themarker,andthemarker detector estimates the 3-dimensional pose of the marker attached to the dynamic *** can place SLAM maps,cameras,and dynamic objects(markers)on the same coordinate system,and we can also accurately augment AR resources in real-time on both the static scene and dynamic objects ***,having a static map of the scene in advance has the advantage of being able to performtracking of static and dynamic environments with mapping *** this paper,we evaluate whether the proposed tracking systemis suitable for AR applications and describe a strategy for creating AR applications in static and dynamic environments with a demonstration.

Endovascular treatment of a ruptured pseudoaneurysm of the internal carotid artery in a patient with nasopharyngeal cancer:A case report

BACKGROUND Radiation therapy(RT)for nasopharyngeal cancer can cause several *** rare cases,an internal carotid artery pseudoaneurysm can occur,which can be *** report the experience of a nasopharyngeal cancer patient who underwent radiation therapy and subsequently developed a fatal pseudoaneurysm of the petrous internal carotid *** SUMMARY A 39-year-old man was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer 2 years ago(American Joint Committee on Cancer Stage T3N2M0)and received concurrent chemoradiation *** subsequently relapsed and received *** week after the 4th cycle of chemotherapy,he was admitted to the emergency room of our hospital because of massive epistaxis accompanied by a headache.A pseudoaneurysm of the petrous internal carotid artery was confirmed by digital subtraction angiography(DSA).Stent-assisted endovascular coil embolization was performed and complete occlusion was *** pseudoaneurysm was observed on DSA after coil embolization;however,intermittent epistaxis was maintained even after coil *** seven days,a diagnostic laryngoscopy was *** bleeding occurred after aspiration of the blood clot during the laryngoscopy and the patient died of hypovolemic *** this case,epistaxis may have been a sign of pseudoaneurysm;therefore,treatment such as embolization should be performed promptly,and careful management should be undertaken after *** This case highlights a rare,serious complication of RT in nasopharyngeal cancer and how it should be recognized and treated.
