＜正＞Telomerase is a ribonucleoprotein complex Gontaining telomerase reverse transcriptase （TERT） respon-sible for the maintenance and elongation of telomeres （the ends of chromosomes）. Considerable evidencesuggests cells during tumorigenesis. Telomerase is activated in most cancers and activaion occurs withincreased gene expression of TERT and protein phosphorylation and heat shock proein -dependent as-sembly of telomerase holoenzymp. Forced ectopic expression of TERT in normal fibroblats induces con-tinuous cell proliferation toward immortalianion. To explore the control mechanisms as well as cellular ac-tions of telomerase, we found that telomerase can be regulated by mukiple distinct mechanisms including
