Metal nanomaterials can facilitate microbial extracellular electron transfer(EET)in the electrochemically active ***,the role of nanomaterials/bacteria interaction in this process is still ***,we reported the single-cell voltammetric imaging of Shewanella oneidensis MR-1 at the single-cell level to elucidate the metal-enhanced EET mechanism in vivo by the Fermi level-responsive graphene *** oxidation currents of~20 fA were observed from single native cells and gold nanoparticle(AuNP)-coated cells in linear sweep voltammetry *** the contrary,the oxidation potential was reduced by up to 100 mV after AuNP *** revealed the mechanism of AuNP-catalyzed direct EET decreasing the oxidation barrier between the outer membrane cytochromes and the *** method offered a promising strategy to understand the nanomaterials/bacteria interaction and guide the rational construction of EET-related microbial fuel cells.

The aim of this study was to investigate the reasons for the differences in lipid accumulation between lean and obese pigs. The bile acids with varying levels within two types of pigs were found and then in vitro experiments were conducted to identify whether these bile acids can directly affect lipid accumulation. Fourteen pigs, including seven lean and seven obese pigs with body weights of approximately 80 kg, were fed the same diet at an amount approximately equivalent to 3% of their respective body weights daily for 42 d. In vitro, 3T3-L1 preadipocytes were cultured in medium with high glucose levels and were differentiated into mature adipocytes using differentiation medium. Then, bile acids were added to mature adipocytes for 4 d. The results showed that there was a difference in body lipids levels and gut microbiota composition between obese and lean pigs (P < 0.05). According to the results of gut microbial function prediction, the bile acid biosynthesis in colonic digesta of obese pigs were different from that in lean pig. Sixty-five bile acids were further screened by metabolomics, of which 4 were upregulated (P < 0.05) and 2 were downregulated (P < 0.05) in obese pigs compared to lean pigs. The results of the correlation analysis demonstrated that chenodeoxycholic acid-3-b-D-glucuronide b- D-glucuronide (CDCA-3Gln) and a- muricholic acid (a a- MCA) had a negative correlation with abdominal fat weight and abdominal fat rate, while isoallolithocholic acid (IALCA) was positively associated with crude fat in the liver and abdominal fat rate. There was a positive correlation between loin muscle area and CDCA-3Gln and a- MCA (P P < 0.05), however, IALCA and 3-oxodeoxycholic acid (3-oxo-DCA) were negatively associated with loin eye muscle area (P < 0.05). Isoallolithocholic acid increased the gene expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma ( PPARG ) and the number of lipid droplets (P < 0.05), promoting the lipid storage when IALCA was added

Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF) is considered to be one of the most promising additive manufacturing technologies for producing components with geometries and high geometrical precision that are unattainable by traditional technologies. The superalloy exhibits exceptional mechanical and high-temperature performances,rendering it a prime candidate for advanced aero-engine applications. Despite the high demand for LPBF-manufactured superalloys, the superalloy is one of the materials manufactured difficultly by LPBF due to their large laser absorptivity fluctuation, poor molten pool stability and sharp temperature gradient. Hence, superalloys are characterized by severe pores, undesirable coarse columnar grains and poor mechanical properties. In this work, the effect of nano-Ti N particles on defects, molten pool characteristics and microstructure and performance of the composites were investigated. The 4.5 wt% Ti N/Haynes230 samples exhibited exceptional nanohardness and elastic modulus with maximum values reaching 5.53 GPa and 240.03 GPa, respectively. These superior mechanical properties were attributed to the combined effects of spatter and gas pore inhibition, grain refinement and duplex nanophases strengthening. Moreover, the stability of molten pool was enhanced, and spatter was effectively suppressed by adding nano-Ti N particles, while grain refinement and columnar to equiaxed transitions were promoted. Furthermore, the matrix exhibited a high dislocation density due to a significant hindrance of dislocation movement caused by massive nano-phases(e.g., Ti N and M23C6), resulting in the formation of extensive dislocation tangles and *** work offers novel insights into the role of nanoparticles reinforced superalloy composites by LPBF.

The aging prediction of railway catenary is of profound significance for ensuring the regular operation of electrified ***,in real-world scenarios,accurate predictions are challenging due to various *** paper addresses this challenge by proposing a novel method for predicting the aging of railway catenary based on an improved Kalman filter(KF).The proposed method focuses on modifying the priori state estimate covariance and measurement error covariance of the KF to enhance accuracy in complex *** comparing the optimal displacement value with the theoretically calculated value based on the thermal expansion effect of metals,it becomes possible to ascertain the aging status of the *** improve prediction accuracy,a railway catenary aging prediction model is constructed by integrating the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy neural network(FNN)and *** this model,an adaptive training method is introduced,allowing the FNN to use fewer fuzzy *** inputs of the model include time,temperature,and historical displacement,while the output is the predicted ***,the KF is enhanced by modifying its prior state estimate covariance and measurement error *** modifications contribute to more accurate ***,a low-power experimental platform based on FPGA is implemented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed *** test results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms the compared method,showcasing its superior performance.

How to effectively use the multi-energy demand elasticity of users to bid in the multi-energy market and formulate multi-energy retail packages is an urgent problem which needs to be solved by integrated energy service providers(IESPs)to attract more users and reduce operating *** paper presents a unified clearing of electricity and natural gas based on a bi-level bidding and multi-energy retail price formulation method for IESPs considering multi-energy demand ***,we propose an operating structure of IESPs in the wholesale and retail energy *** multi-energy demand elasticity model of retail-side users and a retail price model for electricity,gas,heat and cooling are ***,a bi-level bidding model for IESPs considering multi-energy demand elasticity is established to provide IESPs with wholesale-side bidding decisions and retail-side energy retail price ***,an example is given to verify the proposed *** results show that the method improves the total social welfare of the electricity and natural gas markets by 7.99%and the profit of IESPs by 1.40%.It can reduce the variance of the electricity,gas,and cooling load curves,especially the reduction of the variance of the electricity load curve can which reach 79.90%.It can be seen that the research in this paper has a positive effect on repairing the limitations of integrated energy trading research and improving the economics of the operation of IESPs.

The thermal protection of rocket engines is a crucial aspect of rocket engine *** this paper,the gas film/regenerative composite cooling of the liquid oxygen/liquid methane(LOX/LCH4)rocket engine thrust chamber was investigated.A gas film/regenerative composite cooling model was developed based on the Grisson gas film cooling efficiency formula and the one-dimensional regenerative cooling *** accuracy of the model was validated through experiments conducted on a 6 kg/s level gas film/regenerative composite cooling thrust ***,key parameters related to heat transfer performance were *** results demonstrate that the model is sufficiently accurate to be used as a preliminary design *** temperature rise error of the coolant,when compared with the experimental results,was found to be less than 10%.Although the pressure drop error is relatively large,the calculated results still provide valuable guidance for heat transfer *** addition,the performance of composite cooling is observed to be superior to regenerative *** the gas film flow rate results in higher cooling efficiency and a lower gas-side wall ***,the position at which the gas film is introduced greatly impacts the cooling *** optimal introduction position for the gas film is determined when the film is introduced from a single row of *** optimal introduction position results in a more uniform wall temperature distribution and reduces the peak ***,it is observed that a double row of holes,when compared to a single row of holes,enhances the cooling effect in the superposition area of the gas film and further lowers the gas-side wall *** results provide a basis for the design of gas film/regenerative composite cooling systems.
