A series of ternary mononuclear complexes Ln(3,4-DMBA)(terpy)(HO),(Ln = Er(1),Ho(2)) and ternary dinuclear complexes [Ln(3,4-DMBA)(terpy)(HO)](Ln = Pr(3),Eu(4)) were successfully synthesized via conventional solution method at room temperature and characterized by element analysis,coordination titration analysis,powder x-ray and IR *** them,we obtained three kinds of single *** 1 and 2 were obtained with a coordination number of eight to form a distorted triangular dodecahedral,while complex 3 was nine-coordinated with a distorted triangular *** the temperature range from 300 K to 1200 K,the thermal decomposition mechanism of complexes 1-4 were investigated by the technology of TG/*** molar heat capacities of four complexes were discussed and compared by the DSC *** smoothed value of heat capacities and thermodynamic function(H-H) and(S-S) for the title complexes were calculated according to the fitted polynomial and thermodynamic *** beyond that,the luminescence spectra of complex 4 exhibited the characteristic emission of Eu ion(D→F),and the fluorescence lifetime of complex 4 was also discussed,then base on the emission data,the result of Coherent Infrared Energy(CIE) indicated the complex 4 was promising candidate for red component in ultraviolet.

Objective N-(4-hydroxybenzyl) adenine riboside(NHBA) was originally isolated from Gastrodia elata ***,our laboratory reported NHBA produced exact sedative and hypnotic effects,which might be mediated by the stimulation of the sleep center ventrolateral preoptic nucleus and increase of the inhibitory amino acid y-aminobutyric acid(GABA) content in the *** concentrations in the brain are controlled by two enzymes:glutamic acid decarboxylase(GAD) and GABA-transaminase(GABA-T).GAD synthesizes GABA from glutamate,whereas GABA-T catabolizes GABA to succinic *** of GAD activity can markedly decrease the level of *** aim of the present study was to determine whether semicarbazide hydrochloride(SCZ),a blocker of synthetic enzyme for GABA,blunted the hypnotic activity of NHBA in mice,and to elucidate the relationship among GAD,GABA-T and hypnotic activity of *** The influence of SCZ on hypnotic activity of NHBA was investigated in pentobarbital sodium treated *** activities of GAD and GABA-T in the hypothalamus were measured by high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection and ultraviolet spectrophotometer,*** NHBA(5 mg/kg,i.p.) significantly prolonged the duration of loss of righting reflex induced by pentobarbital sodium(40 mg/kg,i.p.).SCZ(100 mg/kg,i.p.) had no influence on sleep duration in pentobarbital sodium treated mice when it was used ***,it blocked the potentiating effect of NHBA on pentobarbital sodium-induced sleep in ***(5 mg/kg,i.p.) significantly increased the activity of GAD in the mouse ***,it had no influence on the activity of GABA-T in the mouse *** SCZ antagonized the hypnotic activity of NHBA,which indicated that the sedative and hypnotic effects of NHBA might be mediated by GABAergic system and GAD played a significant role in this process.

The Ln（Ⅲ） complexes [Dy（3-Cl-4-MOBA）3phen]2（1） and [Eu（3-Cl-4-MOBA）3phen]2（2）（3-Cl-4-MOBA = 3-chloro-4-methoxybenzoic acid;phen =1,10-phenanthroline） had been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV, IR spectra and TG/DSC-FTIR technology. The crystal structures of two complexes were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Thermal analysis and the TG-FTIR spectra of gaseous products of the two complexes were discussed by TG/DSC-FTIR techniques. The heat capacity of two complexes was measured using DSC technology, and the heat capacity data were fitted to a polynomial equation by the least-squares method. Besides, the thermodynamic functions（ST-S298.15K）,（GT-G298.15K） and（HT-H298.15K） were also calculated.

BACKGROUND:Small-for-size(SFS)syndrome is an important clinical problem after living donor liver transplantation,split liver transplantation or extended *** uncertainty of the mechanisms and treatments of SFS syndrome urges surgeons to establish effective models for SFS syndrome. METHODS:A new porcine model for SFS syndrome based on extended hepatectomy was *** pressure gradient was observed before and after the surgery,and venous sampling for estimation of alanine aminotransferase, total bilirubin,and international normalized ratio was continued on a daily basis. RESULTS:Although the external morphology of the porcine liver differs from that of human being,segmental anatomy is remarkably similar in term of its vascularity and biliary *** hepatectomy with segmentsⅠand Ⅶas resection remnant(about 20%of total liver volume) resulted in similar survival rates,blood liver function tests,and elevated portal pressure gradient as clinical SFS syndrome. CONCLUSIONS:The extended hepatectomy based new model can easily be reproduced,with few costs and surgical *** SFS syndrome can easily be simulated by this new model,which is a useful tool for studying SFS syndrome-related liver injuries,especially portal overperfusion and hypertension.

From waste to wealth:Coal tar residue derived carbon materials as low-cost anodes for potassium-ion batteries

Carbon materials are widely recognized as highly promising electrode materials for various energy storage system *** tar residues(CTR),as a type of carbon-rich solid waste with high value-added utilization,are crucially important for the development of a more sustainable *** this study,we employed a straightforward direct carbonization method within the temperature range of 700-1000℃to convert the worthless solid waste CTR into economically valuable carbon materials as anodes for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).The effect of carbonization temperature on the microstructure and the potassium ions storage properties of CTR-derived carbons(CTRCs)were systematically explored by structural and morphological characterization,alongside electrochemical performances *** on the co-regulation between the turbine layers,crystal structure,pore structure,functional groups,and electrical conductivity of CTR-derived carbon carbonized at 900℃(CTRC-900H),the electrode material with high reversible capacity of 265.6m Ah·g^(-1)at 50 m A·g^(-1),a desirable cycling stability with 93.8%capacity retention even after 100 cycles,and the remarkable rate performance for PIBs were ***,cyclic voltammetry(CV)at different scan rates and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT)have been employed to explore the potassium ions storage mechanism and electrochemical kinetics of *** indicate that the electrode behavior is predominantly governed by surface-induced capacitive processes,particularly under high current densities,with the potassium storage mechanism characterized by an“adsorption-weak intercalation”*** work highlights the potential of CTR-based carbon as a promising electrode material category suitable for high-performance PIBs electrodes,while also provides valuable insights into the new avenues for the high value-added utilization of CTR.

Synthesized and characterized a series of lanthanide complexes [Ln（3,4,5-TEOBA）3phen]2（Ln=La（1）, Pr（2）, Nd（3）, Sm（4）, Eu（5）;3,4,5-TEOBA=3,4,5-Triethoxybenzoic acid;phen=1,10-phenanathroline）. Single crystal X-ray diffraction data and XRD show all the complexes are isostructural. Every complexe has two center metal and each center is coordinated by six oxygen atoms and two nitrogen atoms to form a distorted monocapped square antiprism geometry. Oxygen atoms adopt three modes coordinated with center metal: bidentate chelate, bridging bidentate and bridging tridentate. Photoluminescence properties of complexes 4 and 5 have been measured at room temperature and display the characteristic emission of Sm3+ and Eu3+ ions. Using TG/DSC-FTIR technology studied the thermal decomposition of title complexes and indicate five complexes are thermally stable. The heat capacities of complexes 1-5 has been measured by DSC in the temperature range from 263.15 to 463.15 K. During 280-350 K, there exist a solid-to-solid phase transition for complexes 1, 2 and 5, which was further evidenced by four thermal circulating processes with the rate of 10 K/min. In the heating and cooling runs, supercooling was observed and the enthalpies of endothermic and exothermic behave differently. Antibacterial activity of complexes were measured and studied.

Four trivalent Lanthanide complexes [Ln（2-Br-5-MOBA）3phen]2（Ln=Nd（1）,Eu（2）,Ho（3）,Er（4）） have been synthesized. The structure of 1-4 were established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The complexes 1-3 were isostructural. Products 1-4 were also characterized by a series of techniques including the elemental analysis, IR and UV, XRD and TG/DSC-FTIR technology and so on. The study of thermogravimetric analysis indicated that complexes 1-4 were stabilized before 200 °C. The processes of three-dimensional IR accumulation spectra of gaseous were amost the same with the steps of TG which could be both divided into four stages. The complex [Eu（2-Br-5-MOBA）3phen]2 emits strong and bright red fluorescence under UV at the room temperature and the fluorescence spectra of it containes three transitions: 5D0-7F0, 5D0-7F1, and 5D0-7F2. Among all these transitions, the 5D0-7F2 at 621.4 nm is much stronger than the others, which speculates belong to the electric dipole transition of Eu3+ ion.
