System Analysis on Supercritical CO_2 Power Cycle with Circulating Fluidized Bed Oxy-Coal Combustion

Supercritical carbon dioxide(S-CO_2) Brayton power cycle is a competitive technology to achieve high efficiency in a variety of applications. However, in coal power applications, the CO_2 generated from coal combustion still discharges into the atmosphere causing a series of environment problems. In this work, an 300 MWe S-CO_2 power cycle with circulating fluidized bed(CFB) oxy-coal combustion was established including air separation unit(ASU), CFB boiler, recuperator system and carbon dioxide compression and purification unit(CPU). Based on the material and energy conservation, the cycle efficiency of S-CO_2(620°C, 25 MPa) Brayton power cycle with CFB oxy-coal combustion is evaluated compared to the oxy-coal combustion steam Rankine cycle and S-CO_2 Brayton power cycle with the 31.65 kg/s coal supply. After that, the influence of several factors, e.g., exhaust flue gas temperature, split ratio in recuperator system and the oxygen supply on the cycle efficiency was investigated and analyzed. The results show that the net efficiency of S-CO_2 power cycle with CFB oxy-coal combustion(32.67%) is much higher than the steam Rankine cycle utilizing CFB with 17.5 Mpa, 540°C steam(27.3%), and 25 Mpa, 620°C steam(30.15%) under the same exhaust flue gas temperature. In addition, lower exhaust flue gas temperature and higher split ratio are preferred to achieve higher cycle efficiency. Lower oxygen supply can reduce the energy consumption of ASU and CPU, further increasing the system net efficiency. However, the energy losses of ASU and CPU are still very large in oxy-coal combustion and need to be improved in further work.

We want to explore the analgesic brain effect of the moxibustion at heat-sensitized Yaoyangguan(GV3)in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH)and myofascial pain syndrome(MPS).In an assessor-blinded observational study,we will include 15 LDH and 15 *** will accept same treatment of heat-sensitive moxibustion at Yaoyangguan(GV3).The resting-state functionality magnetic resonance imaging image data of brain activities before and after treatment will be analyzed by mean fractional amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation,regional homogeneity analysis and brain functional *** select seed of first sensory cortex,second sensory cortex,insula cortex,periaqueductal gray and anterior cingulate cortex as the regions of interest to analyse the relationship between brain functional connectivity of pain-related networks and clinical *** study could disclose key brain targets and central response characteristics of the analgesic brain effect and the brain functional connection of heat-sensitive moxibustion.

Tackling Osteoarthritic Knee Pain with Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture（EA） has been widely used in pain relief. Clinical evidence has revealed its unique advantages and effectiveness in alleviating pain. Studies on EA and pain relief have revealed that EA displays greater analgesic effects for different types of pain in comparison to manual acupuncture. Here, we reviewed the clinical application and mechanism of EA in treating osteoarthritic knee pain and its influence factors in curative effect.

Progress of hidden spin polarization in inversion-symmetric crystals

Hidden spin polarization refers to that doubly degenerate bands protected by combined inversion and time-reversal symmetry in nonmagnetic inversion-symmetric crystals could have opposite non-zero local spin polarizations, which are spatially separated in two real-space sectors paired by the inversion symmetry. Since its first prediction from ab initio calculation, hidden spin polarization has inspired tremendous interest and has been observed experimentally due to its intriguing fundamental properties as well as the great potential for applications. Moving forward, the search for moment-dependent spin splitting has also been extended to antiferromagnets even without considering spin-orbit coupling. This paper systematically reviews recent works in this field with a focus on basic concepts and material realization. It also details several remaining bottlenecks and suggests possible avenues for future research.

Effect of Sn on Corrosion Behavior of Ultra-pure 17 mass% Cr Ferritic Stainless Steels in Sulphuric Acid

The effect of Sn on corrosion behavior of ferritic stainless steels in 20mass% H2SO4 was investigated by alternating current and direct current electrochemical methods and gravimetric tests at 25 ℃.The results show that Sn can effectively improve general corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steels in H2SO4,mainly due to highly raised hydrogen evolution overpotential which is in favour of strong suppression of hydrogen evolution reaction,and inhibitive effect of dissolved Sn^2＋ on elementary anodic *** increasing Sn content,the better corrosion resistance can be *** Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy（EIS）includes four time constants and can be perfectly fitted by equivalent circuit：Rs（CdlRct）（QadsRads（RL1（L1（RL2L2））））.

Effects of annealing temperature and cooling rate on microstructures of a novel titanium alloy Ti-6Al-2V-1.5Mo-0.5Zr-0.3Si manufactured by laser additive manufacturing

The microstructure changes of Ti-6Al-2V-1.5Mo-0.5Zr-0.3Si alloy manufactured by laser additive manufacturing （LAM） are systematically investigated with statistical analysis of primary α phase （αp） and secondary α phase （αs） under different annealing conditions. Results indicate that, with the increase in holding temperature, the content of αp lamellas decreases with the increasing αs content, maintaining the total α phases concentration stabilized. The width of αp lamellas and the nominal specific surface area of α phase both exhibit positive correlation with the temperature, while the increment of αp and the widths of αs lamellas show an increase-decrease tendency. Besides, with the decrease in cooling rate, the total content of α and the width of αp lamellas increase, while the nominal specific surface area of α phase shows no significant change. The results indicate that, in the annealing process, the holding temperature determines the surplus and growth interfaces of % lamellas, and the cooling rate influences the nucleation quantity of c^s in unit time. During the cooling stage, the αp lamellas grow initially, and then, the nucleation and crab-like structure growth occur followed by those of the αs lamellas. The time intervals among them are influenced by cooling rate. The mechanism of microstructure formation of the LAMed titanium alloy during annealing stage was discussed, which would guide for the heat treatment method to achieve required microstructure.

Wavelet Analysis of the Shaft Order Perturbation and Stall Inception in an Axial Compressor

An experiment was carried out in a low-speed large-scale axial-compressor. Dynamic pressure signals were measured and analyzed with a wavelet transform. At all stable operating condition, a shaft order perturbation was observed from the dynamic pressure signals and wavelet power spectrums. By measuring the tip clearance, blade pitches and blade thickness distributions, a rotor asymmetry was identified in this compressor, which is strongly linked to the shaft order perturbation. Modal wave appears at the near-stall operating point. The propagation speed of the modal wave is about 20% rotating speed. At the peak of the modal wave, the intensity of the shaft-order-perturbation increases obviously, while it decays very fast at the trough of modal wave. By throttling the compressor, modal stall occurs in several seconds and only one stall-cell was detected. The stall cell grows smoothly out of the modal wave and its propagation speed is increased to 30% rotor speed. In several revolutions before stall, the intensity of the modal wave is increasing and a shaft order perturbation produced by modal-wave grows into stall inception which indicate stall onset but not trigger stall.

Fractionated Crystallization Kinetics and Polymorphic Homocrystalline Structure of Poly(_(L)-lactic acid)/Poly(_(D)-lactic acid)Blends:Effect of Blend Ratio

Stereocomplex(SC)crystallization has been an effective way to improve the physical performances of stereoregular ***,the competition between homo and SC crystallizations can lead to more complicated crystallization kinetics and polymorphic crystalline structure in stereocomplexable polymers,which influences the physical properties of obtained ***,we select the medium-molecular-weight(MMW)poly(L-lactic acid)/poly(D-lactic acid)(PLLA/PDLA)asymmetric blends with different PDLA fractions(f_(D)=0.01-0.5)as the model system and investigate the effects of f_(D) and crystallization temperature(T_(c))on the crystallization kinetics and polymorphic crystalline *** observe the fractionated(i.e.,multistep)crystallization kinetics and the formation of peculiar β-form homocrystals(HCs)in the asymmetric blends under quiescent conditions,which are strongly influenced by both f_(D) and T_(c).Precisely,crystallization of β-form HCs is favorable in the MMW PLLA/PDLA blends with high f_(D)(≥0.2)at a low T_(c)(80-100℃).It is proposed that the formation of metastable β-form HCs is attributed to the conformational matching between β-form HCs and SCs,and the stronger constrain effects of precedingly-formed SCs in the early stage of *** effects can also cause the multistep crystallization kinetics of MMW PLLA/PDLA asymmetric blends in the heating process.

Synergistic Cu single-atoms and clusters on tubular carbon nitride for efficient photocatalytic performances

Metal clusters or even single-atoms dispersed and anchored on the photocatalysts'surface can enhance photocatalytic performances on organic pollutant ***,a simple photoreduction method was used to create atomically dispersed metal single-atoms/clusters(MSCs,M=Cu,Pd,Au and Ag)on P-modulated tubular carbon nitride(TCN).The obtained MSCs@TCN demonstrated excellent photocatalytic performances for the degradation of sulfamethazine(SMZ).In particular,the photocatalyst with 2 wt%Cu loading showed ultrahigh SMZ oxidation efficiency(k=0.06110 min^(-1)),almost three times that of TCN(k=0.02066 min^(-1)).It also shows excellent stability in the 5th-cycle *** improved photocatalytic activity of the CuSCs@TCN is ascribed to the synergistic promotion of photogenerated charge separation by Cu single-atoms/clusters as active sites,accelerated charge transfer from bulk TCN to Cu sites through Cu-N_(x)***,the active sites of Cu single-atoms/clusters could promote the production of·O_(2)^(-),which participates in organic oxidation with strong oxidizing holes(h^(+)).This strategy paves a new avenue for designing high-performance photocatalysts decorated with metal single-atoms and clusters.
