BACKGROUND Ostomy is a common surgery usually performed to protect patients from clinical symptoms caused by distal anastomotic leakage after colorectal cancer(CRC)surgery and perforation or to relieve intestinal *** To analyze the complications after transverse colostomy *** Patients who underwent transverse colostomy closure from Jan 2015 to Jan 2022 were retrospectively enrolled in a single clinical *** differences between the complication group and the no complication group were *** regression analyses were conducted to find independent factors for overall complications or incision *** A total of 102 patients who underwent transverse colostomy closure were enrolled in the current ***(68.6%)patients underwent transverse colostomy because of CRC related *** complications occurred in 30(29.4%)patients and the most frequent complication occurring after transverse colostomy closure was incision infection(46.7%).The complication group had longer hospital stays(P<0.01).However,no potential risk factors were identified for overall complications and incision *** The most frequent complication occurring after transverse colostomy closure surgery in our center was incision *** operation time,interval from transverse colostomy to reversal,and method of anastomosis might have no impact on the postoperative *** should pay more attention to aseptic techniques.

The dissolution behavior of Al_(2)O_(3) in molten CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag,a basic slag system of electroslag remelting process,was investigated by rotating cylinder method using corundum rods to simulate Al_(2)O_(3) inclusions in *** experimental results show that the dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3);rods in CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag increases with the increase in rotating speed and temperature,and the rate-controlling step is the mass transfer in the *** dissolution rate of Al_(2)O,in CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag increases with the increase in the ratio of CaO to Al_(2)O_(3),which is due to the increase in dissolution driving force and the decrease in slag *** apparent activation energy of the mass transfer of AlOs in slag C is calculated to be 222.86 kJ mol^(-1).During the dissolution of Al_(2)0,inclusions in the slag,it reacts with F in liquid slag at first,then reacts with CaO to form the intermediate compounds of xCaO-yAl_(2)O_(3) system,and finally dissolves in molten *** dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3) inclusions in CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag for electroslag remelting is positively correlated with the ratio of the dissolution driving force and slag viscosity,and the correlation coeficient is 2.487×10^(-11).

Refractory high-entropy alloys have recently emerged as promising candidates for high-temperature structural ***,their performance is compromised by the trade-off required between strength and ***,a novel W30Ta5(FeNi)65 refractory high-entropy alloy with an outstanding combination of strength and plasticity at both room and elevated temperatures is designed,based on the multi-phase transitions design *** alloy comprises a body-centered cubic dendrite phase,a topologically close-packed μ rhombohedral phase,and a high-density coherent nano-precipitate γ"phase with the D0_(22)structure(Ni3Ta type)embedded in a continuous face-centered cubic *** to pre-cipitation strengthening of D0_(22),the yield stress of the alloy is determined as high as 1450 MPa,which is a significant improvement(~100%)in comparison with the D0_(22)-free alloy,without a loss of *** alloy exhibits an excellent high-temperature strength,with the yield strengths of 1300 MPa at 600 ℃ and 320 MPa at 1000 ℃.Detailed microstructural characterization using transmission electron mi-croscopy,high-angle annular dark-field imaging,and three-dimensional atom probe tomography analyses indicated that this superior strength-plasticity combination stems from the synergy of a multiple-phase *** results provide a new insight into the design of RHEAs and other advanced alloys.

Development of efficient fluorescent probes that can realize precise fluorescence image-guided cancer surgery(FIGCS)with extremely high tumor-to-normal tissue(T/NT)ratio is urgently ***,we report the design and synthesis of an aggregation-induced emission(AIE)-active,peptide-based fluorescence turn-on probe MPA-Ph-R-FFGYSAYPDSVPMMS(MPA-Ph-R-FFGYSA for short),which consists of a new near-infrared emissive AIE luminogen(AIEgen)MPA-Ph-R,a self-assembling peptide sequence“FFG”,and an“active”targeting peptide YSAYPDSVPMMS that can selectively bind to EphA2 protein cluster overexpressed in many *** compared to the control probe MPA-Ph-R-YSA without“FFG”,MPA-Ph-R-FFGYSA exhibits much higher fluorescent brightness and sensitivity in both cellular and in vivo studies on EphA2 cluster detection/imaging,as“FFG”is beneficial to closer assembly of AIEgens in EphA2 cluster,leading to more effective restriction of the intramolecular motion of *** vivo studies demonstrate that MPA-Ph-R-FFGYSA is a safe bioprobe and gives excellent performance in FIGCS with a rather high T/NT ratio of^13.4 upon intravenous administration into peritoneal carcinomatosis-bearing *** study provides a new strategy of utilizing the close assembly of tumor microenvironment-responsive AIE probes for boost FIGCS.

As an important strategic metal,vanadium is generally used to prepare special steels,titanium alloys,and hydrogen storage materials.A new method of producing vanadium(metal)powder from V_(2)O_(3)using block Mg is presented *** an auxiliary molten salt,V_(2)O_(3)was successfully transformed into V by Mg *** by-product,MgO,was transformed into MgCl_(2)by adding ZrCl_(4),which prevented the generation of MgV_(2)O_(4)and allowed the reaction to proceed *** rod-like alloy phases,Zr_(0.03)V_(1.97),which formed in the presence of excess Mg,may hinder the diffusion of oxygen from the *** recovery rate of vanadium after separation and purification was approximately 45%–50%,where the main loss occurred during ball *** the optimal conditions(Mg content of 48.3%,reduction time of 1.5 h,and temperature of 850℃),the purity of vanadium exceeded 99 wt.%,and the O content decreased to 0.34 wt.%.

Some researchs have demonstrated that the loss of delta Np63 is associated with aggressive phenotypes and poor prognosis. However, other research indicates that delta Np63 is considered to have oncogenic properties. Delta Np63 overexpression is often observed in association with the oncogenic growth of squamous cell carcinomas and bladder cancer. In this study, we investigated the oncogenic role of delta Np63 in regulating cell adhesion in transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder （TCCB）. The cells were stably transfected with the delta Np63 short hairpin RNA （shRNA） plasmid. Immunocytochemistry was performed to determine the knockdown efficiency. Tumour cells were studied for their ability to adhere to vascular endothelial cells. Confocal microscopy was used to analyse the changes in cytoskeletal F-actin. F-actin expression was measured by flow cytometry. Cell invasion ability was assessed using transwell chambers. The delta Np63-silenced tumour cells were shown to adhere more tightly than controls to vascular endothelial cells （P〈0.05）. The content of F-actin in the delta Np63-silenced cells was enhanced （P〈0.05）. The Matrigel invasion assays showed that human 5637 bladder cancer cells had a lower degree of motility when transfected with pdelta Np63-shRNA （P〈0.05）. In conclusion, silencing of the delta Np63 expression can enhance the adhesiveness of 5637 cells by inducing F-actin cytoskeleton production, and it will possibly inhibit the TCCB invasion and metastasis.

Though K-means is very popular for general clustering, its performance, which generally converges to numerous local minima, depends highly on initial cluster centers. In this paper a novel initialization scheme to select initial cluster centers for K-means clustering is proposed. This algorithm is based on reverse nearest neighbor （RNN） search which retrieves all points in a given data set whose nearest neighbor is a given query point. The initial cluster centers computed using this methodology are found to be very close to the desired cluster centers for iterative clustering algorithms. This procedure is applicable to clustering algorithms for continuous data. The application of the proposed algorithm to K-means clustering algorithm is demonstrated. An experiment is carried out on several popular datasets and the results show the advantages of the proposed method.
