IMTNet: Improved Multi-Task Copy-Move Forgery Detection Network with Feature Decoupling and Multi-Feature Pyramid

Copy-Move Forgery Detection (CMFD) is a technique that is designed to identify image tampering and locate suspicious areas. However, the practicality of the CMFD is impeded by the scarcity of datasets, inadequate quality and quantity, and a narrow range of applicable tasks. These limitations significantly restrict the capacity and applicability of CMFD. To overcome the limitations of existing methods, a novel solution called IMTNet is proposed for CMFD by employing a feature decoupling approach. Firstly, this study formulates the objective task and network relationship as an optimization problem using transfer learning. Furthermore, it thoroughly discusses and analyzes the relationship between CMFD and deep network architecture by employing ResNet-50 during the optimization solving phase. Secondly, a quantitative comparison between fine-tuning and feature decoupling is conducted to evaluate the degree of similarity between the image classification and CMFD domains by the enhanced ResNet-50. Finally, suspicious regions are localized using a feature pyramid network with bottom-up path augmentation. Experimental results demonstrate that IMTNet achieves faster convergence, shorter training times, and favorable generalization performance compared to existing methods. Tracking Nonstationary Streaming Data via Exponentially Weighted Moving Average Stochastic Gradient Descent

In many applications involving data streams, the sequences of data arise from highly dynamic and often unstable real-life processes, rendering untenable the standard assumption that current and future data come from the same distribution. In response, new methodologies, such as dynamic online learning, have been proposed in order to account for the nonstationary features in the data-generating process. Motivated by the stability and statistical efficiency of the notable stochastic approximation method, average stochastic gradient descent(ASGD) in time-invariant systems, the authors propose an exponentially weighted moving average(EWMA)-based stochastic gradient descent(SGD) which accommodates the dynamic structure by introducing a forgetting factor and replacing the simple averaging step in ASGD with an EWMA step. Provided that the dynamic drift is Lipschitz continuous, the mean squared tracking error rate of the proposed method achieves the optimal rate in the nonparametric statistical paradigm. The proposed framework also allows us to derive the dynamic regret bound and asymptotic normality with a path variation constraint in a natural manner. Numerical analysis has been conducted to verify the performance of the proposed method. In particular, the proposed method is much more robust to the selection of learning rates compared with the ordinary SGD method.

The scaling relation of central massive black holes（MBHs） and their host galaxies is well-studied for supermassive BHs(SMBHs,MBH≥10～6M⊙).However,this relation has large uncertainties in the mass range of the intermediate-mass BHs(IMBHs,MBH～10～3-10～6M⊙).Since Green pea（GP） galaxies are luminous compact dwarf galaxies,which may be likely to host less massive SMBHs or even IMBHs,we systematically search for MBHs in a large sample of 2190 GP galaxies at z<0.4,selected from LAMOST and SDSS spectroscopic ***,we report a newly discovered sample of 59 MBH candidates with broad Hα *** sample has a median stellar mass of 108.83±0.11M⊙and hosts MBHs with single-epoch virial masses ranging from MBH～104.7to 108.5M⊙(median 105.85±0.64M⊙).Among the 59 MBH candidates,36 have black hole masses MBH≤10～6M⊙（IMBH candidates）,one of which even has MBH■10～5M⊙.We find that the MBH-M*relation of our MBH sample is consistent with the MBH-Mbulgerelation for SMBHs,while is above the MBH-M*relation for MBHs in dwarf galaxies in the same mass ***,we show that 25 MBH candidates,including 4 IMBH candidates,have additional evidence of black hole activities,assessed through various methods such as the broad-line width,BPT diagram,mid-infrared color,X-ray luminosity,and radio *** studies show that it is very promising to find IMBHs in GP galaxies,and the BH sample so obtained enables us to probe the connection between the MBHs and compact dwarf galaxies in the low-redshift Universe.

Spatiotemporal changes in sunshine duration and its influential factors in Chongqing,China from 1961 to 2020

Impact factors and pathways of halonitromethanes formation from aspartic acid during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection

Light emitting diode (LED-UV)/chlorine disinfection can replace UV/chlorine disinfection in wastewater treatment plants and water supply plants. Halonitromethanes (HNMs) are a class of novel nitrogenous disinfection by-products, which are characterized by higher cytotoxicity and genotoxicity than regulated disinfection by-products. Herein, the impact factors and pathways of HNMs formation from aspartic acid (ASP) were investigated during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection. The results showed that three types of chlorinated-HNMs (Cl-HNMs) were found during LED-UV265/chlorine disinfection, and their concentrations increased first and then declined as the reaction progressed. Cl-HNMs yields increased with increasing LED-UV_(265) intensity, free chlorine dosage, and ASP concentration, which declined with increasing pH (6.0–8.0). Meantime, the important impact of the coexisting ions contained in water matrices on HNMs formation from ASP was observed during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection. It was found that copper ions (Cu^(2+)) promoted Cl-HNMs formation. Furthermore, when bromide (Br–) appeared during LED-UV265/chlorine disinfection, nine types of HNMs were detected simultaneously. Moreover, Br– not only converted Cl-HNMs toward brominated (chlorinated)-HNMs and brominated-HNMs but also showed a marked effect on HNMs concentrations and species. Subsequently, the possible pathways of HNMs formation from ASP were proposed during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection. At last, it was proved that the formation trends of HNMs obtained in the real waters were similar to those in simulated waters. This work elaborated on the influence factors and pathways of HNMs formation, which is conducive to controlling the HNMs produced during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection.
