Targets capture by distributed active swarms via bio-inspired reinforcement learning

Natural swarms arranged from cells to herds are usually decentralized but display intriguing collective intelligence in coordinating individuals across large scales to efficiently achieve their common goals. Learning from nature may provide new strategies for controlling collective dynamics of synthetic swarms to accomplish specific functions. Here, we present a bioinspired computational framework that steers distributed active swarms to collectively capture and merge targets via reinforcement learning. We exploit collective milling structures of natural herds to cage the targets, and adopt a switching control policy inspired by sperms' chiral dynamics to optimize the trajectories of individuals, through which the active swarms can selforganize to enclose single or multiple distant targets in a dynamical, adaptive and scalable manner. There exists a critical swarm size, beyond which the excessive competition between agents would generate large mechanical forces, leading to capture instability but enabling the transition from short-distance to long-distance merging capture of multiple targets. This work provides physical insights into distributed active swarms and could offer a multilevel, decentralized strategy toward controlling swarm robotics in wide applications such as bio-medical devices, machine immunity, and target clearance.

Ligustrum vicaryi L. is a hybrid of Ligustrum ovalifolium Hassk. var. aureo-marginatum and Ligustrum vulgale L., and displays a chlorophyll-less phenotype. Therefore it is widely used as a horticultural shrub because of its golden-color leaves. Its putative mechanism, light responses, chlorophyll synthesis and plastid development were studied. L. vicaryi has a higher level of *** acid （ALA）, but lower levels of chlorophylls compared with L. quihoui. The yellowish phenotype of L. vicaryi upper leaves could be attributed to their hampered conversion from chlorophyllide into chlorophyll a. Despite the enhanced ALA level and the decreased thylakoid stacking in plastids, L. vicaryi golden leaves contain normal levels of Lhcb transcripts and photosystem apoproteins. Furthermore, reactive oxygen species （ROS） accumulation is almost the same in L. vicaryi and L. quihoui. The golden leaves often turn green and the contents of chlorophylls increase with decreasing light intensity. Dynamic changes of chlorophyll- synthesis-system under the light transition were also analyzed.

Moment Redistribution Effect of the Continuous Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer-Concrete Composite Slabs Based on Static Loading Experiment

This study aimed to investigate the moment redistribution in continuous glass fiber reinforced polymer(GFRP)-concrete composite slabs caused by concrete cracking and steel bar yielding in the negative bending moment *** experimental bending moment redistribution test was conducted on continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs,and a calculation method based on the conjugate beam method was *** composite slabs were formed by combining GFRP profiles with a concrete layer and supported on steel beams to create two-span continuous composite slab *** methods,epoxy resin bonding,and stud connection,were used to connect the composite slabs with the steel *** experimental findings showed that the specimen connected with epoxy resin exhibited two moments redistribution phenomena during the loading process:concrete cracking and steel bar yielding at the internal *** contrast,the composite slab connected with steel beams by studs exhibited only one-moment redistribution phenomenon throughout the loading *** the concrete at the internal support cracked,the bending moment decreased in the internal support section and increased in the midspan *** the steel bars yielded,the bending moment further decreased in the internal support section and increased in the mid-span *** GFRP profiles do not experience cracking,there was no significant decrease in the bending moment of the mid-span *** test specimens experienced compressive failure of concrete at the mid-span *** results showed good agreement between the calculated and experimental values of bending moments in the mid-span section and internal support *** proposed model can effectively predict the moment redistribution behavior of continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs.

The Mechanism of Heating Rate on the Secondary Recrystallization Evolution in Grain Oriented Silicon Steel

Grain-oriented silicon steels were prepared at different heating rates during high temperature annealing,in which the evolution of magnetic properties,grain orientations and precipitates were *** illustrate the Zener factor,the diameter and number density of precipitates of interrupted testing samples were statistically *** effect of precipitate ripening on the Goss texture and magnetic property was *** indicated that the trend of Zener factor was similar under different heating rates,first increasing and then decreasing,and that the precipitate maturing was greatly inhibited as the heating rate *** recrystallization was developed at the temperature of 1010℃when a heating rate of 5℃/h was used,resulting in Goss,Brass and{110}oriented grains growing abnormally and a magnetic induction intensity of ***,increasing the heating rate to 20℃/h would inhibit the development of undesirable oriented grains and obtain a sharp Goss ***,when the heating rate was extremely fast,such as 40℃/h,poor secondary recrystallization was developed with many island grains,corresponding to a decrease in magnetic induction intensity to 1.87 *** a suitable heating rate of 20℃/h,the sharpest Goss texture and the highest magnetic induction of 1.94 T with an onset secondary recrystallization temperature of 1020℃were found among the experimental variables in this *** heating rate affected the initial temperature of secondary recrystallization by controlling the maturation of precipitates,leading to the deviation and dispersion of Goss texture,thereby reducing the magnetic properties.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis, a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes. A fungal metabolon, comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe G, is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide B. Using notoamide E as a substance, Spe F/Spe G metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation, followed by hydrogen atom ion at C-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium unit. Subsequently,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol rearrangement. This provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.

Synthesis of chiral phosphine derivatives through a copper（I）-catalyzed desymmetric SNAr reaction

Axially chiral phosphines are a class of extremely important ligands in asymmetric catalysis. Herein, an unprecedented copper（I）-catalyzed asymmetric SNAr reaction with HP（S）R2is uncovered, which delivers a series of axially chiral phosphine derivatives in high yields with excellent enantioselectivity. Furthermore, the diastereoselective reaction with the kinetic resolution of racemic HP（S）ArR proceeds smoothly, providing the products with moderate diastereoselectivity and excellent enantioselectivity. Control experiments indicate that HP（S）Ph2is much more active than HPPh2and HP（O）Ph2as the pronucleophile in the present reaction. It is found that the SNAr reaction （the first SNAr） proceeds in a desymmetric manner, providing the desired chiral products while a continued SNAr reaction （the second SNAr） slightly occurs in a kinetic resolution manner in the present catalytic system, which enhances the ee of the desired chiral products. DFTcalculations support a concerted reaction pathway rather than a step-wise mechanism. Finally, axially chiral olefin-phosphines produced by the present method work as suitable ligands in Pdcatalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution with C-, N-, and O-nucleophiles and Rh-catalyzed asymmetric addition of arylboronic acid to benzil.

目的　用NK - 10 7树脂进行血液灌流清除重症急性胰腺炎 (SAP)犬血中的炎性介质 ,观察犬的全身反应 ;方法　选犬 2 8条 ,采用Aho方法制作SAP模型 2 1条 ,分为血液灌流组、盐水腹腔灌洗组、SAP模型组 ,另外 7条为假手术组 ;血液灌流组用NK - 10 7树脂进行血液灌流 ,盐水腹腔灌洗组用生理盐水进行腹腔灌洗 ,每天 1次 ,共 5次 ;对 4组分别检测血清TNF -α、IL - 1、IL - 6 ,观察动物的一般状态和生存情况及胰腺组织学改变 ;结果　血液灌流组IL -1、IL - 6及TNF -α血清水平明显高于假手术组 ,但低于盐水腹腔灌洗组和SAP模型组 ,差异显著 (P <0 .0 5 ) ;血液灌流组临床生存情况较盐水腹腔灌洗组和SAP模型组好 ;结论　血液灌流可有效地降低重症胰腺炎犬血液中细胞因子 ,减轻炎症反应 ,从而缩短胰腺炎的病程。

广域网作为连接新业务、新基础设施和各类新型应用的纽带,已成为21世纪最重要的基础设施之一.近年来,数据量爆炸性增长,伴随着基于广域网的大模型、数字经济、元宇宙和全息社会等新型应用形态的持续涌现,以及东数西算、算力网络和数据场等新型业务架构的出现,业务对广域网的数据传输服务质量提出了越来越高的要求.以时延为例,广域网不仅需要提供及时的服务,还需要提供准时的服务,即时延成为必须满足的确定性指标.因此,广域确定性网络作为广域网的新范式应运而生.系统地综述确定性网络的内涵,回顾传统确定性网络相关技术发展脉络,介绍广域确定性网络的新应用,探讨广域网确定性网络传输具有的新特征以及面临的新挑战,并提出广域确定性网络的新目标.基于上述新应用、新特征、新挑战和新目标,详细总结当前广域确定性网络领域的主要研究进展,并给出未来研究的方向.期望能为广域确定性网络领域的研究提供参考和帮助.

Real-time visual tracking using complementary kernel support correlation filters

Despite demonstrated success of SVM based trackers,their performance remains a boosting room if carefully considering the following factors:first,the tradeoff between sampling and budgeting samples affects tracking accuracy and efficiency much;second,how to effectively fuse different types of features to learn a robust target representation plays a key role in tracking *** this paper,we propose a novel SVM based tracking method that handles the first factor with the help of the circulant structures of the samples and the second one by a multi-kernel learning ***,we formulate an SVM classification model for visual tracking that incorporates two types of kernels whose matrices are circulant,fully taking advantage of the complementary traits of the color and HOG features to learn a robust target ***,it is fortunate that the SVM model has a closed-form solution in terms of both the classifier weights and the kernel weights,and both can be efficiently computed via fast Fourier transforms(FFTs).Extensive evaluations on OTB100 and VOT2016 visual tracking benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a favorable performance against various state-of-the-art trackers with a speed of 50 fps on a single CPU.
