In underwater applications of contactless power transmission(CLPT) systems,high pressure and noncoaxial operations will change the parameters of electromagnetic(EM) *** a result,the system will divert from its optimum *** a reluctance modeling method,we investigated the gap effects on the EM coupler in deep-sea *** and measurements were performed to analyze the influence of high pressure and noncoaxial alignments on the *** was shown that it is useful to set a relatively large gap between cores to reduce the influence of *** were carried out to verify the transferring capacity of the designed coupler and system for a fixed *** results showed that an EM coupler with a large gap can serve a stable and efficient power transmission for the CLPT *** designed system can transfer more than 400 W electrical power with a 2-mm gap in the EM coupler,and the efficiency was up to 90% coaxially and 87% non-coaxially in 40 MPa salt ***,a mechanical layout of a 400 W EM coupler for the underwater application in 4000-m deep sea was proposed.

In this paper, a realistic interpretation(REIN) of the wave function in quantum mechanics is briefly presented. We demonstrate that in the REIN, the wave function of a microscopic object is its real existence rather than a mere mathematical ***, the quantum object can exist in disjointed regions of space just as the wave function is distributed, travels at a finite speed, and collapses instantly upon a measurement. Furthermore, we analyze the single-photon interference in a Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI) using the REIN. Based on this, we propose and experimentally implement a generalized delayed-choice experiment, called the encounter-delayed-choice experiment, where the second beam splitter is decided whether or not to insert at the encounter of two sub-waves along the arms of the MZI. In such an experiment, the parts of the sub-waves, which do not travel through the beam splitter, show a particle nature, whereas the remaining parts interfere and thus show a wave nature. The predicted phenomenon is clearly demonstrated in the experiment, thus supporting the REIN idea.

To determine the solubility of CO_(2)in n-dodecane at T=303.15-353.15 K,P≤11.00 MPa,an integrated fused silica capillary and in-situ Raman spectroscopy system was *** Raman peak intensity ratio(I_(CO_(2))/IC-H)between the upper band of CO_(2)Fermi diad(I_(CO_(2)))and the C-H stretching band of n-dodecane(IC-H)was employed to determine the solubility of CO_(2)in n-dodecane based on the calibrated correlation equation between the known CO_(2)molality in n-dodecane and the I_(CO_(2))/IC-Hratio with R^(2)=*** results indicated that the solubility of CO_(2)decreased with increasing temperature and increased with increasing *** maximum CO_(2)molality(30.7314 mol/kg)was obtained at 303.15 K and7.00 ***,a solubility prediction model(lnS=(P-A)/B)based on the relationship with temperature(T in K)and pressure(P in MPa)was developed,where S is CO_(2)molality,A=-8×10^(-6)T^(2)+0.0354T-8.1605,and B=*** results indicated that the solubilities of CO_(2)derived from this model were in good agreement with the experimental data.

Chordoid meningioma:a report of two cases

Although meningiomas are common rumors in adults, the chordoid variant is very rare. According to the World Health Organization Classification of Tumors of the Nervous System （Lyon, 2000）,chordoid meningioma together with another rare variant, lymphoplasmacyterich meningioma, usually contain abundant lymphoplasmacytic infiltration, and are associated even with hematological abnormalities, especially in young adults. Few cases of chordoid meningioma have been reported in detail until Couce and his colleagues reported a sizable series of forty-two cases. Even then, the clinical and pathological features of these tumors were not well characterized, because of variations in different papers. In the present article, we report two adult patients with chordoid meningioma.

AIM: To study the effects of danhong huayu koufuye (DHK) on fasting blood glucose (FBG) and diabetic retinopathy (DR) in streptozotocin (517)-induced type 1 diabetic rats to facilitate the rational usage of this drug. METHODS: Diabetic rats were induced by injection of a single dose of STZ intraperitoneally at 50mg/kg. Flash electroretinogram (FERG) and oscillatory potentials (OPs) were used to measure retinal function. The microvascular perfusion of ears was performed to study the microcirculation in rats. FBG, body-weight, and 24-h urine volume, water intake and diet intake were also assessed. RESULTS: DHK had no effect on FBG in normal rats. However, STZ + DHK group were significantly different from those of Model and moved toward those of normal control. It reversed the increase in diet intake (P litude by 80% (P litudes in DHK group were 2.6 (P <= 0.01) and 2.0 (P <= 0.01) times of model group after 24 days of DHK treatment, respectively. At the same time, OP(1) and OP(2) latencies in DHK group reduced by 16.0% (P <= 0.001) and 14.7% (P <= 0.001) as compared with the model control, respectively. Furthermore, the microvascular perfusion of DHK group was 2.4 times of model group (P <= 0.001) after 21 days administration. CONCLUSION: DHK had no effect on normal FBG. But it had antihyperglycemic activity, and had a preventive and therapeutic effect on DR in diabetic rats.

Photocatalytic reductive amination of biomass-derived aldehydes is a desirable way to selectively upgrade biomass into value-added nitrogen-containing chemicals under mild ***,it is challenging to produce imines in high selectivity because of the undesirable side reactions caused by the activity of functional ***,we demonstrate the highly reactive and selective production of imines from biomass derived aldehydes via the photocatalytic reductive amination,using a defective TiO_(2)supported nickel *** employment of methanol as the hydrogen donor and ammonia solution as the nitrogen source avoids the use of high-pressure H_(2)and expensive amines,rendering the current catalytic process safe,economical,and environmentally *** depth investigations attribute the improved separation and transfer of photogenerated charge carriers to the presence of oxygen vacancies and decorated Ni nanoparticles,thereby accelerating the production of imines from benzaldehyde amination(conversion,95.8%;seleetivity,95.2%).Furthermore,the developed system could be easily translated to the photocatalytic conversions of various biomass derived aldehydes,which provided an example of a cost-effective and sustainable approach for the valorization of biomass derived feedstocks.

Partial trisomy 4q:a case report

The clinical findings frequently presented in trisomy 4q syndrome including mental retardation, developmental delay and multiple abnormalities such as microcephaly, acrocephaly, as well as malformed ears, high/broad/depressed nasal bridge, teeth and thumb anomalies. It has been proposed that trisomy 4q is caused by a familial balanced translocation or a de novo imbalance. We reported a new case of trisomy 4q with a karyotype of 46, XY, der（5）t（4;5）（q27;q35） and this karyotye was reported for the first time. His phenotype included severe mental retardation, growth retardation, facial and thumb anomalies. Detected by cytogenetic investigation, comparative genomic hybridization, multicolor fluorescence in situ hybridization, the duplicated region from 4q27 to 4qter was confirmed. Trisomy 4q is a rare clinical finding. To our knowledge, this is the eighth case with duplicated fragment spanning from 4q27 to 4qter. Comparing the karyotypic and phenotypic correlation with those previously described, we reported a new case with partial trisomy 4q syndrome.

In this paper,we study compressed data separation(CDS)problem,i.e.,sparse data separation from a few linear random *** propose the nonconvex ℓ_(q)-split analysis with ℓ_(∞)-constraint and 0lit-analysis Dantzig selector(ℓ_(q)-split-analysis DS).We show that the two distinct subcomponents that are approximately sparse in terms of two different dictionaries could be stably approximated via the ℓ_(q)-split-analysis DS,provided that the measurement matrix satisfies either a classical D-RIP(Restricted Isometry Property with respect to Dictionaries and ℓ_(2) norm)or a relatively new(D,q)-RIP(RIP with respect to Dictionaries and ℓ_(q)-quasi norm)condition and the two different dictionaries satisfy a mutual coherence condition between *** the Gaussian random measurements,the measurement number needed for the(D,q)-RIP condition is far less than those needed for the D-RIP condition and the(D,1)-RIP condition when q is small enough.
