Targets capture by distributed active swarms via bio-inspired reinforcement learning

Natural swarms arranged from cells to herds are usually decentralized but display intriguing collective intelligence in coordinating individuals across large scales to efficiently achieve their common goals. Learning from nature may provide new strategies for controlling collective dynamics of synthetic swarms to accomplish specific functions. Here, we present a bioinspired computational framework that steers distributed active swarms to collectively capture and merge targets via reinforcement learning. We exploit collective milling structures of natural herds to cage the targets, and adopt a switching control policy inspired by sperms' chiral dynamics to optimize the trajectories of individuals, through which the active swarms can selforganize to enclose single or multiple distant targets in a dynamical, adaptive and scalable manner. There exists a critical swarm size, beyond which the excessive competition between agents would generate large mechanical forces, leading to capture instability but enabling the transition from short-distance to long-distance merging capture of multiple targets. This work provides physical insights into distributed active swarms and could offer a multilevel, decentralized strategy toward controlling swarm robotics in wide applications such as bio-medical devices, machine immunity, and target clearance.

Cells are the fundamental units of biological systems and exhibit unique development trajectories and molecular features. our exploration of how the genomes orchestrate the formation and maintenance of each cell, and control the cellular phenotypes of various organismsis, is both captivating and intricate. Since the inception of the first single-cell RNA technology, technologies related to single-cell sequencing have experienced rapid advancements in recent years. These technologies have expanded horizontally to include single-cell genome, epigenome,proteome, and metabolome, while vertically, they have progressed to integrate multiple omics data and incorporate additional information such as spatial sc RNA-seq and CRISPR screening. Single-cell omics represent a groundbreaking advancement in the biomedical field,offering profound insights into the understanding of complex diseases, including cancers. Here, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in single-cell omics technologies, with a specific focus on the methodology section. This overview aims to guide researchers in selecting appropriate methods for single-cell sequencing and related data analysis.

Background:Ampelopsis grossedentata,vine tea,which is the tea alternative beverages in *** vine tea processing,a large amount of broken tea is produced,which has low commercial ***:This study investigates the influence of different extraction methods(room temperature water extraction,boiling water extraction,ultrasonic-assisted room temperature water extraction,and ultrasonic-assisted boiling water extraction,referred to as room temperature water extraction(RE),boiling water extraction(BE),ultrasonic assistance at room temperature water extraction(URE),and ultrasonic assistance in boiling water extraction(UBE))on the yield,dihydromyricetin(DMY)content,free amino acid composition,volatile aroma components,and antioxidant properties of vine tea ***:A notable influence of extraction temperature on the yield of vine tea extracts(Pof RE(34.29±0.81%).Ultrasound-assisted extraction significantly increased the DMY content of the extracts(Pontent in the RE extracts was 59.94±1.70%,that of URE reached 66.14±2.78%.Analysis revealed 17 amino acids,with L-serine and aspartic acid being the most abundant in the extracts,nevertheless ultrasound-assisted extraction reduced total free amino acid *** chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis demonstrated an increase in the diversity and quantity of compounds in the vine tea water extracts obtained through ultrasonic-assisted ***,69 and 68 volatile compounds were found in URE and UBE extracts,which were higher than the number found in RE and BE *** vitro,antioxidant activity assessments revealed varying antioxidant capacities among different extraction methods,with RE exhibiting the highest DPPH scavenging rate,URE leading in ABTS•+free radical scavenging,and BE demonstrating superior ferric ion reducing antioxidant ***:The findings suggest that extraction methods signi

The Mechanism of Heating Rate on the Secondary Recrystallization Evolution in Grain oriented Sili.on Steel

Grain-oriented sili.on steels were prepared at different heating rates during high temperature annealing, in which the evolution of magnetic properties, grain orientations and precipitates were studied. To illustrate the Zener factor, the diameter and number density of precipitates of interrupted testing samples were statistically calculated. The effect of precipitate ripening on the Goss texture and magnetic property was investigated. Data indicated that the trend of Zener factor was similar under different heating rates, first increasing and then decreasing, and that the precipitate maturing was greatly inhibited as the heating rate increased. Secondary recrystallization was developed at the temperature of 1 010 ℃ when a heating rate of 5 ℃/h was used, resulting in Goss, Brass and {110} oriented grains growing abnormally and a magnetic induction intensity of 1.90T. Furthermore, increasing the heating rate to 20 ℃/h would inhibit the development of undesirable oriented grains and obtain a sharp Goss texture. However, when the heating rate was extremely fast, such as 40 ℃/h, poor secondary recrystallization was developed with many island grains, corresponding to a decrease in magnetic induction intensity to 1.87 T. At a suitable heating rate of 20 ℃/h, the sharpest Goss texture and the highest magnetic induction of 1.94 T with an onset secondary recrystallization temperature of 1 020 ℃ were found among the experimental variables in this study. The heating rate affected the initial temperature of secondary recrystallization by controlling the maturation of precipitates, leading to the deviation and dispersion of Goss texture, thereby reducing the magnetic properties.

基于ToPSIS法综合评价法半夏抗慢性阻塞性肺疾病的品质研究

目的通过离散型逼近理想解排序法(technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution,ToPSIS)评估6批法半夏醇提物的体外抗慢性阻塞性肺疾病(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,CoPD)作用,建立法半夏综合品质评价新方法。方法采用香烟烟雾提取物(cigarette smoke extract,CSE)和脂多糖(li.opolysaccharide,LPS)构建Beas-2b人正常肺细胞的CoPD模型,并使用MTT法测定生半夏及6批法半夏醇提取物的毒性和药效浓度,同时计算EC 50、IC 50;再由qRT-PCR、超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase,SoD)试剂盒测定相关指标;最后通过ToPSIS法对生半夏和法半夏进行多指标综合评价。结果根据IC 50值,得出各批次样品如下毒性排序:生半夏>法半夏④>法半夏①>法半夏⑤>法半夏③>法半夏⑥>法半夏②。通过qRT-PCR法验证得出,与模型组对比,各半夏给药组的TNF-α、IL-6和IL-8的表达均有不同程度的下调;并且在给药后所有给药组的SoD的含量均降低。将所有数据进行归一化处理,通过ToPSIS分析,得到药效综合排序结果如下:法半夏⑥>法半夏⑤>法半夏②>法半夏①>法半夏③>法半夏④>生半夏。结论不同半夏醇提物均可抑制LPS和CSE诱导的炎症和氧化应激,综合评价第⑥批法半夏的质量最好,且ToPSIS法可以作为一种药材的综合品质评定方法,为市面上参差不齐的药材质量提供质控思路。

This study aimed to investigate the moment redistribution in continuous glass fiber reinforced polymer(GFRP)-concrete composite slabs caused by concrete cracking and steel bar yielding in the negative bending moment *** experimental bending moment redistribution test was conducted on continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs,and a calculation method based on the conjugate beam method was *** composite slabs were formed by combining GFRP profiles with a concrete layer and supported on steel beams to create two-span continuous composite slab *** methods,epoxy resin bonding,and stud connection,were used to connect the composite slabs with the steel *** experimental findings showed that the specimen connected with epoxy resin exhibited two moments redistribution phenomena during the loading process:concrete cracking and steel bar yielding at the internal *** contrast,the composite slab connected with steel beams by studs exhibited only one-moment redistribution phenomenon throughout the loading *** the concrete at the internal support cracked,the bending moment decreased in the internal support section and increased in the midspan *** the steel bars yielded,the bending moment further decreased in the internal support section and increased in the mid-span *** GFRP profiles do not experience cracking,there was no significant decrease in the bending moment of the mid-span *** test specimens experienced compressive failure of concrete at the mid-span *** results showed good agreement between the calculated and experimental values of bending moments in the mid-span section and internal support *** proposed model can effectively predict the moment redistribution behavior of continuous GFRP-concrete composite slabs.
