Power-electronic devices a.e widely used in va.ious a.plica.ions, such a. volta.e a.d frequency control for tra.smitting a.d converting electric power. a. these devices a.e becoming increa.ingly importa.t, there is a.need to reduce their losses a.d improve their performa.ce to reduce electric power consumption. Current power semiconductor devices, such a. inverters, a.e ma.e of silicon (Si), but the performa.ce of these Si power devices is rea.hing its limit due to physica. properties a.d energy ba.dga.. To a.dress this issue, recent developments in wide ba.dga. (WBG) semiconductor ma.eria.s, such a. silicon ca.bide (SiC) a.d ga.lium nitride (Ga.), offer the potentia. for a.new genera.ion of power semiconductor devices tha. ca. perform significa.tly better tha. silicon-ba.ed devices. In this resea.ch, a.green synthesized copper-zinc-tin-sulfide (CZTS) na.opa.ticle is proposed a. a.new WBG semiconductor ma.eria. tha. could be used for optica. a.d electronic devices. Its synthesis, consisting of the production methods a.d ma.eria.s used, is discussed. The cha.a.teriza.ion is a.so discussed, a.d further resea.ch is recommended in the la.er sections to ena.le the continua. a.va.cement of this technology.

The effects of drought on tree morta.ity a. forest sta.ds a.e not completely understood. For a.sessing their wa.er supply, knowledge of the sma.l-sca.e distribution of soil moisture a. well a. its tempora. cha.ges is a.key issue in a. era.of clima.e cha.ge. However, tra.itiona. methods like ta.ing soil sa.ples or insta.ling da.a.loggers solely collect pa.a.eters of a.single point or of a.sma.l soil volume. Electrica. resistivity tomogra.hy (ERT) is a.suita.le method for monitoring soil moisture cha.ges a.d ha. ra.ely been used in forests. This method wa. a.plied a. two forest sites in Ba.a.ia. Germa.y to obta.n high-resolution da.a.of tempora. soil moisture va.ia.ions. Geoelectrica. mea.urements (2D a.d 3D) were conducted a. both sites over severa. yea.s (2015-2018/2020) a.d compa.ed with soil moisture da.a.(ma.ric potentia. or volumetric wa.er content) for the monitoring plots. The grea.est va.ia.ions in resistivity va.ues tha. highly correla.e with soil moisture da.a.were found in the ma.n rooting zone. Using the ERT da.a. tempora. trends could be tra.ked in severa. dimensions, such a. the intera.nua. increa.e in the depth of influence from drought events a.d their dura.ion, a. well a. rising resistivity va.ues going a.ong with decrea.ing soil moisture. The results revea. tha. resistivity cha.ges a.e a.good proxy for sea.ona. a.d intera.nua. soil moisture va.ia.ions. Therefore, 2D- a.d 3D-ERT a.e recommended a. compa.a.ively non-la.orious methods for sma.l-spa.ia. sca.e monitoring of soil moisture cha.ges in the ma.n rooting zone a.d the underlying subsurfa.e of forested sites. Higher spa.ia. a.d tempora. resolution a.lows a.better understa.ding of the wa.er supply for trees, especia.ly in times of drought.

The model consists of six parts: chemical species conservation equation including absorptive factor the species upta.e a.tion including deta.led vertica. va.ia.ion of a.sorptive element in CL momentum excha.ge in CL which is represented by a.first-order closure momentum equa.ion with a. a.ditiona. la.ger-sca.e diffusive term momentum excha.ge in a.L which is described by a.complete set of the a.L turbulent sta.istic pa.a.eters a.sorptivity (or solubility or reflection) a. the surfa.e including effects of the physica. a.d chemica. cha.a.ters of the species land type seasonal and diurnal variations of the meteorological variables a.d deposition velocity derived by distributions of the species with height in CL. Va.ia.iona. rules of the concentra.ion a.d deposition velocity with both height a.d time a.e simula.ed with the model for both corn a.d forest ca.opies. Results predicted with the bulk deposition velocity derived in the pa.er consist well with experimenta. da.a.

Both Cu60Ni38Co2 a.d Cu60Ni40 a.loy were na.ura.ly cooled a.ter ra.id solidifica.ion from the liquid *** tra.sforma.ion la. of the microstructure cha.a.teristics of the ra.idly solidified a.loy with the cha.ge of undercooling(DT)wa. systema.ica.ly *** wa. found tha. the two a.loys experienced the sa.e tra.sforma.ion *** refinement structures under different undercoolings were cha.a.terized by electron ba.ksca.ter diffra.tion(EBSD).The experimenta. results show tha. the cha.a.teristics of the refinement structure of the two a.loys with low undercooling a.e the sa.e,wherea.,the cha.a.teristics of the refinement structure with high undercooling a.e *** tra.smission electron microscope(TEM)results of Cu60Ni38Co2 a.loy show tha. the disloca.ion network density of low undercooled microstructure is lower tha. tha. of high undercooled *** combining EBSD a.d TEM,it ca. be confirmed tha. the dendrite remelting fra.ture is the rea.on for the refinement of the low undercooled structure,while the high undercooled structure is refined due to recrysta.liza.ion.
