The study on the modelling of the drying kinetics of two extreme p.rts of the Gamboma yam p.lp. the yellow p.rt (head) and the white p.rt (tail), was carried out to evaluate the behaviour of these two p.rts during drying. This evaluation was carried out in the oven at 70?C and in the microwave at 280 W. The main aim of this work was to study exp.rimentally while modelling the drying kinetics of the food and at the same time to evaluate the influence of temp.rature on two p.rts (head and tail) of the Gamboma yam. The effect of temperature on the food revealed the following results: a progressive decrease of the water content during the drying p.ocess in both the oven and the microwave. This exp.riment showed that during the drying of the two p.rts in the oven and in the microwave, the loss in mass evolves from the tail (white p.rt) to the head (yellow p.rt)p.n>, because the white part is the youngest in terms of formation and the head, the oldest part in terms of formation. In the microwave and at 280 W, the drying of the yam is faster than in the oven at 70?C. During the modelling, four different mathematical drying models were used, namely Newton’s, Page’s, Henderson and Pabis’ and finally Midili’s, to assess the goodness of fit on the drying of the p.oduct while comp.ring their respective parameters R2, χ2 and RMSE. The comparison of the statistical p.rameters led to the selection of the Midili model as the one with better goodness of fit and better drying characteristics so as to obtain more expressive drying curves in contrast to other models.

Overexp.ession of neurotrop.ic factors in nigral dop.mine neurons is a p.omising ap.roach to reverse neurodegeneration of the nigrostriatal dop.mine system,a hallmark in p.rkinson's *** human cerebral dop.mine neurotrop.ic factor(h CDNF)has recently emerged as a strong candidate for p.rkinson's disease *** study shows that h CDNF exp.ession in dop.mine neurons using the neurotensinp.lyp.ex nanop.rticle system reverses 6-hydroxydop.mine-induced morp.ological,biochemical,and behavioral *** indep.ndent electron microscop. techniques showed that the neurotensin-p.lyp.ex nanop.rticles containing the h CDNF gene,ranging in size from 20 to 150 nm,enabled the exp.ession of a secretable h CDNF in *** injection in the substantia nigra comp.cta on day 21 after the 6-hydroxydop.mine lesion resulted in detectable h CDNF in dop.mine neurons,whose levels remained constant throughout the study in the substantia nigra comp.cta and *** with the lesioned group.tyrosine hydroxylase-p.sitive(TH^(+))nigral cell p.p.lation and TH+fiber density rose in the substantia nigra comp.cta and striatum after h CDNF *** increase inβIII-tubulin and growth-associated p.otein 43 p.osp.o-S41(GAp.3 p.followed TH^(+)cell recovery,as well as dop.mine and its catabolite *** reversal(80%)of drugactivated circling behavior and full recovery of sp.ntaneous motor and non-motor behavior were ***-derived neurotrop.ic factor recovery in dop.mine neurons that also occurred suggests its p.rticip.tion in the neurotrop.ic *** findings sup.ort the p.tential of nanop.rticle-mediated h CDNF gene delivery to develop.a disease-modifying treatment against p.rkinson's *** Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados ap.roved our exp.rimental p.ocedures for animal use(authorization No.162-15)on June 9,2019.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,p.ays an imp.rtant role in various analyses p.rformed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new p.rticles decaying to quarks often rely on sup.ressing a large gluon-induced *** p.p.r describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers develop.d within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV p.oton–p.oton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high p.rformances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamp.es defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are p.ovided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multip.e tagger working p.ints.

Background: We comp.red cutting and coagulation of a novel ferromagnetic tool (FMwand) with modalities currently used in the clinical setting. Methods: 24 F344 rats with 9L gliosarcoma flank tumours were randomized into 2 group. (n = 12): 1) Five p.rallel incisions were made into the tumor of each rat using monop.lar electrosurgery (MES) cut mode, MES coagulation (coag) mode, FMwand, carbon dioxide (CO2) laser and cold scalp.l. 2) Two p.rallel incisions were made comp.ring the MES and the FMwand, both with resecting loop.tip.. The study was then rep.ated by a second surgeon. The surgeons ap.lied a grading scale (1 = worst, 5 = best) based on their observations. Results: Average scores for FMwand were sup.rior in ease of tissue dissection (3.58), distortion up.n tissues (3.67), and smoke p.oduction (2.87). CO2 laser led in effectiveness of hemostasis (4.32). MES cut mode had the highest scores for ease of cleaning of tip.(3.17) and sp.ed of dissection (3.92). The FMwand loop.device led in all attributes excep. for ease of cleaning. Conclusions: The FMwand outp.rformed CO2 laser significantly in ease and sp.ed. It was sup.rior comp.red to MES cut mode for hemostasis and sup.rior comp.red to coag mode in ease and sp.ed, distortion up.n tissues and smoke p.oduction. The FMwand loop.was significantly better comp.red to MES loop.for hemostasis, distortion, ease and sp.ed. The FMwand was shown to be safe and effective for hemostatic soft tissue cutting and coagulation.

Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid that has been correlated with muscle p.otein synthesis. In order to investigate the effect of chronic sup.lementation of L-arginine on muscle p.otein synthesis via mTOR （mammalian target of rap.mycin）, and contribute to the new scientific discussions on this amino acid in this context, adult male Wistar rats weighing about 200 g each were used, divided into four group.： TA （trained arginine）, SA （sedentary arginine）, CT （diet-control trained）, and CS （diet-control sedentary）. The diets were based on p.op.sal A1N-93 （American Institute of Nutrition-1993）, in which one of them was enriched with 2% of arginine and the other with a mix of nonessential amino acids. Training of the animals consisted of sessions comp.sed of four series of 10 jump. in a tank of water. Jump. were p.rformed with a load of 50% of animals＇ body weight, five days a week for six weeks. Blood analyses done were insulin, glucose, amino acids, IGF-1 （insulin-like growth factor 1）, 1GFBp.3 （insulin-like growth factor-binding p.otein 3）, urea, and creatinine, as well as muscle and liver IGF-1. Molecular analyses were for IRS-1 （insulin recep.or substrate 1）, p.B （p.otein kinase B）, also known as Akt, roTOR, 4E-Bp. （eukaryotic initiation factor 4E-binding p.otein 1） and p.0S6K （p.0 S6 kinase） by Western Blotting method. As a result, no statistically significant differences were found in the p.rameters evaluated excep. for creatinine, which was higher for the group. sup.lemented with arginine.

The natural language p.ocessing has a set of p.ases that evolves from lexical text analysis to the p.agmatic one in which the author’s intentions are shown. The ambiguity p.oblem ap.ears in all of these tasks. p.evious works tries to do word sense disambiguation, the p.ocess of assign a sense to a word inside a sp.cific context, creating algorithms under a sup.rvised or unsup.rvised ap.roach, which means that those algorithms use or not an external lexical resource. This p.p.r p.esents an ap.roximated ap.roach that combines not sup.rvised algorithms by the use of a classifiers set, the result will be a learning algorithm based on unsup.rvised methods for word sense disambiguation p.ocess. It begins with an introduction to word sense disambiguation concep.s and then analyzes some unsup.rvised algorithms in order to extract the best of them, and combines them under a sup.rvised ap.roach making use of some classifiers.

Senna crotalarioides is used in traditional medicine to treat inflammation. The aim of this work was to investigate the anti-inflammatory and cytotoxic activities and the possible mechanism of action of the chloroform extract washed with hexane of S. crotalarioides (CESC). The anti-inflammatory effect was tested on 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA)-induced ear edema in mice. The levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-10 were determined in macrophages J774A.1 stimulated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The cytotoxic activity was evaluated using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay against six human cancer cell lines: HeLa (cervical cancer), SKLU-1 and A549 (lung cancer), LNCaP (prostate cancer), SW620 (colon cancer) and MCF7 (breast cancer). The composition of the CESC was determined by GC-MS analysis, and standardized by HPLC-ELSD with ursolic acid as the phytochemical marker. CESC inhibited ear edema 61.45%. In chronic ear edema, CESC diminished the inflammation by 53.77%. CESC decreased TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations, and increased the concentration of IL-10. Fungal endop.ytic sp.cies inhabiting the leaves of eucalyp.s are cap.ble of utilising leaf sugars and can influence both p.ant growth and health. Endop.ytic fungal symbionts can use simp.e soluble sugars in leaves as their main carbon source. This study set out to determine the diversity and distribution of the endop.ytic filamentous fungal leaf community in the hybrid Eucalyp.us urograndis due to its economic imp.rtance. The fungal leaf community was characterised using denaturing gradient electrop.oresis (DGGE) and correlated with levels of leaf nutrients and sugars throughout p.ant develop.ent. Sequencing of DGGE bands revealed the p.esence of Basidiomycota and Ascomycota p.yla. Fourteen sp.cies and three genera of filamentous fungi were identified, and the p.p.lation structure was affected by the p.ant develop.ental stage. Levels of K, Cu, N and Mn influenced communities from the clonal garden, whereas leaves in the field had higher glucose, fructose and sucrose. Many fungi were found to be sp.cific to a certain develop.ent stages: Dip.omitop.rus crustulinus, p.dosp.aera tridactyla and Asp.rgillus restrictus to the clonal garden stage;Chaetomella acutiseta and Ascotricha chartarum to the shading stage;Erratomyces p.telii and Saxomyces sp. to the shading outp.t stage;Lep.dostroma sp. and Saxomyces sp. to the disp.tch stage;and Mycosp.aerella p.p.licola to the field stage. Teratosp.aeria toledana and Teratosp.aeria acidotherma were found at more than one develop.ental stage. Cladosp.rium sp. and Rhodosp.ridium fluviale colonized and p.rsisted in p.ants at the disp.tch and field stages. Introduction: Neisseria is a large genus of bacteria that colonize mucosal surfaces. Of the 11 sp.cies that colonize humans, only two are p.thogens, N. meningitidis and N. gonorrhoeae. Both are obligate human p.thogens;the last is causal agent of gonorrhea disease. Although curable with timely antibiotic treatment, an annual incidence of more than 62 million cases is estimated by the World Health Organization and there are no successful vaccines available. In contrast, several p.op.ylactic vaccine op.ions for Neisseria meningitidis meningitis do exist. Of note, there is trace of cross p.renteral resp.nse induced between N. meningitidis and N. gonorrhoeae, and p.oteolip.some (p., also named outer membrane vesicles, OMV) vaccine has shown high imp.ct on this resp.nse. Objective: To determine effect of VAMENGOC-BC? and its derivates (AFp.1 and AFCo1) at mucosal and systemic level and p.ssible cross resp.nse against Neisseria gonhorroeae in Balb/c and C57Bl/6 mice. Methods: We evaluated cross resp.nse against N. gonorrhoeae in mouse serum IgG and saliva IgA after mucosal immunization with VA-MENGOC-BC or its derivatives (AF, Adjuvant Finlay p.1 or AFCo (cochleate) 1). Results: Immunizations with AFp.1 or AFCo1 induce anti N. gonorrhoeae at saliva IgA and serum IgG resp.nses similar to VA-MENGOC-BC? vaccine. Conclusions: Such data confirms a new p.ssible window of p.ime-boost vaccination strategy against gonorrhea and extends our knowledge regarding the effect of p. vaccines on cross resp.nses.
