Treatment of O-allyl N-tosyl carbamates with aromatic compounds in the presence of Cu(OTf)_(2) or TMSOTf as promoters affords N-substituted 1-arylpropan-2-amines,1,2-diarylpropanes,1,1-diarylpropanes,or indanes,depending on the nature of the promoter and of the aryl substrates.A full mechanistic rational allowing appreciation of the outcome of these novel C–H based cascades is *** initial acid promoted decarboxylative/deamidative Friedel–Crafts allylation takes *** protonation of the allylated arene,evolution of the resulting cation may follow different paths depending on the nature of the arene partner and of the allyl moiety in the carbamate.

Simplified Equation Models for Greenhouses Gases Assessment in Road Transport Sector in Burkina Faso

Transport sector is cited among the key emitted *** Burkina Faso,road transport occupies more than 60%of the emissions of the entire transport ***,there is no model equation for greenhouse gases modelling in transport sector.A methodology combining literature review and survey has been adopted to develop the simplified model equation in transport *** vehicle type survey allowed the identification of the type of vehicle and the literature review allowed the identification of the key parameters used for greenhouses gases *** results revealed 10 vehicle types for road transport in Burkina Faso such as:Private cars,Public Transport/Buses,Special Vehicle(Ambulances,Fire bus,Funeral vehicles),other vehicle,Motorcycles,Wheeler,Rail,Van,Lorries and Truck *** keys parameters for greenhouse gases modelling are Fleet availability,Average annual distance travelled,Fuel Economy and Fuel emission *** all vehicle type identified simplified model equation was developed to support Burkina Faso,assessing greenhouse gases emission in the sector of *** approach could be replicated in other countries in the sub-Saharan Region.

Sahel zone has been reported as one of the most vulnerable regions to climate change, so serious attention must be paid to this zone by researchers and development actors who are interested in environmental-human dynamics and interactions. The aim of this study was to bring more insight into the impact of actions aiming at reducing land degradation, regreening the Sahel, stopping population migration and reducing the pressure on land in the Sahelian zone. The study focused on farmland dynamic in Ouahigouya municipality based on remote sensing data from 1986 to 2016 using intensity analysis. The annual time interval change was 0.77% and 2.46% for 1986-2001 and 2001-2016, respectively. Farmlands gained from mixt vegetation, water bodies and from bar lands. Mixed vegetation and water bodies were both active during both intervals while the other land use such as woodland and bar land were dormant. Combining land use land cover analysis and intensity analysis was found to be effective for assessing the differentiated impact of the various land restoration actions.
