Ai. To quanti.y the ri.k of gastri. cancer i. fi.st-degree relati.es of pati.nts wi.h the cancer. METHODS A comprehensi.e li.erature search was performed. Case-control tri.ls compari.g the frequency of a posi.i.e fami.y hi.tory of gastri. cancer i. pati.nts wi.h gastri. cancer, vs non-gastri. cancer controls were retri.ved. Studi.s wi.h mi.sed or non-extractable data, studi.s i. chi.dren, abstracts, and dupli.ate publi.ati.ns were excluded. A meta-analysi. of pooled odd rati.s was performed usi.g Revi.w Manager 5.0.25. We performed subgroup analysi. on Asi.n studi.s and a sensi.i.i.y analysi. based on the quali.y of the studi.s, type of the outcome, sample si.e, and whether studi.s consi.ered only fi.st-degree relati.es. RESULTS Thi.ty-two relevant studi.s out of 612 potenti.l abstracts(n = 80690 i.di.i.uals) were i.cluded. 19.0% of the pati.nts and 10.9% of the controls had at least one relati.e wi.h gastri. cancer(P i.e ri.k for the development of gastri. cancer i. associ.ti.n wi.h a posi.i.e fami.y hi.tory was 2.35(95%Ci. 1.96-2.81). The Cochran Q test for heterogenei.y was posi.i.e(P i.2 = 92%). After excludi.g the three outli.r studi.s wi.h the hi.hest relati.e ri.ks, heterogenei.y remai.ed si.ni.i.ant(P i.2 = 90%). The result was not di.ferent among Asi.n studi.s as compared to others and remai.ed robust i. several sensi.i.i.y analyses. i. the 26 studi.s whi.h exclusi.ely analysed the hi.tory of gastri. cancer i. fi.st-degree relati.es, the relati.e ri.k was 2.71(95%Ci. 2.08-3.53; P i.N i.di.i.uals wi.h a fi.st-degree relati.e affected wi.h gastri. cancer have a ri.k of about 2.5-fold for the development of gastri. cancer. Thi. could be due to geneti. or envi.onmental factors. Screeni.g and preventi.e strategi.s should be developed for thi. hi.hri.k populati.n.

Strzeszynski. Lake was formerly a sli.htly eutrophi.（meso-eutrophi.） water body. The ai. of the current research was to defi.e vari.bles on both spati.l and seasonal i.ternal phosphorus loadi.g from bottom sedi.ents at fi.e stati.ns located i. zones varyi.g i. depth, oxygenati.n, macrophyte presence,and uses of the nei.hbori.g catchment area. Ex si.u experi.ents done wi.h the use of i.tact bottom sedi.ent cores have shown that the hi.hest phosphorus release occurred i. the deepest part of the lake and reached 3.6 mg P/m2d under anoxi. condi.i.ns duri.g summer thermal strati.i.ati.n. i. turn, the i.ternal loadi.g from li.toral sedi.ents, whi.h were well aerated all year round, was clearly ***, phosphorus accumulati.n i. the bottom sedi.ent was observed to reach a maxi.um of 1.45 mg P/m2d i. autumn. A compari.on of the i.ternal loadi.g i.tensi.y i. lake zones wi.h di.ferent land uses of the nei.hbori.g catchment area has shown sli.htly hi.her values at stati.ns adjacent to the forest catchment area than those used for recreati.n. Changes i. the land use of the catchment area of Strzeszynski.
