The increasingly stringent performance requirement in integrated circuit manufacturing, characterized by smaller feature sizes and higher productivity, necessitates the wafer stage executing a extreme motion with the accuracy in terms of nanometers. This demanding requirement witnesses a widespread application of iterative learning control(ILC), given the repetitive nature of wafer scanning. ILC enables substantial performance improvement by using past measurement data in combination with the system model knowledge. However, challenges arise in cases where the data is contaminated by the stochastic noise, or when the system model exhibits significant uncertainties, constraining the achievable performance. In response to this issue, an extended state observer(ESO) based adaptive ILC approach is proposed in the frequency *** being model-based, it utilizes only a rough system model and then compensates for the resulting model uncertainties using an ESO, thereby achieving high robustness against uncertainties with minimal modeling effort. Additionally, an adaptive learning law is developed to mitigate the limited performance in the presence of stochastic noise, yielding high convergence accuracy yet without compromising convergence speed. Simulation and experimental comparisons with existing model-based and data-driven inversion-based ILC validate the effectiveness as well as the superiority of the proposed method.

Resource Allocation for RSMA-Aided Multibeam Satellite Communications

This paper investigates the resource allocation for rate-splitting multiple access(RSMA)enabled multibeam satellite communication ***,we minimize the total unmet user rate,which denotes the difference between the users’rate requirement and the practical achievable rate,as well as the total transmit power of the satellite by optimizing the precoding,power allocation,and rate allocation,under the per-feed power and rate *** solve the non-convex optimization problem,a twostage scheme is *** particular,in the first stage,we present a precoding scheme by maximizing the signal-to-leakage-plus-noise ratio of each beam to eliminate the inter-beam *** the second stage,we introduce auxiliary variables to obtain an upper bound on the objective function under the given precoding matrix and transform the rate constraints of the original problem into second-order cones(SOC)and linear matrix inequations(LMI).Then,the successive convex approximation(SCA)technique is used to obtain suboptimal power and rate allocation ***,the initial feasible solution for power allocation is provided by using the standard interior point ***,numerical results verify the superiority of our proposed solution compared to the benchmark methods in terms of objective function values.

Design Considerations on Voltage and Current Transfer Ratio of High-Frequency Transformers

A high frequency(HF)transformer is key equipment for dc-dc converter to achieve galvanic isolation and voltage *** operating frequency increases,voltage and current transfer ratio of HF transformer may significantly deviate from the turn ratio due to parasitic effects,failing to transfer expected voltage and current from the primary side to the secondary *** this paper,design considerations on voltage and current transfer ratio of the HF transformer are investigated to obtain expected transfer *** revealing parasitic effects on transfer characteristic(TC)of the HF transformer with load,deviation between voltage/current transfer ratio and turn ratio is correlated with the ratio of voltage/current TC resonant frequency and operating ***,constraints for parasitic parameters to obtain expected transfer ratio are proposed,and practical measures to achieve improvements in transformer design are discussed.A 20kHz HF transformer prototype is used as an application,by which evaluations on deviation of voltage/current transfer ratio and turn ratio are verified,and voltage/current transfer performance of the prototype are effectively improved by optimal design based on the proposed principles.

Tail Dependence Matrices and Tests Based on Spearman's ρ and Kendall's τ

Measuring and testing tail dependence is important in finance, insurance, and risk management. This paper proposes two tail dependence matrices based on classic rank correlation coefficients,which possess the desired population properties and interpretability. Their nonparametric estimators with strong consistency and asymptotic distributions are derived using the limit theory of *** simulation and application studies show that, compared to the tail dependence matrix based on Spearman's ρ with large deviation, the Kendall-based tail dependence measure has stable variances under different tail conditions;thus, it is an effective approach to testing and quantifying tail dependence between random variables.

Effects of Soil Acidification on the Distribution and Availability of Arsenic in Aggregates

The spatiotemporal substitution method was used to collect yellow soil and purple soil with different acidification degrees;analyze the effects of acidification on the composition and properties of soil aggregates;explore the distribution characteristics，occurrence forms，and availability of arsenic（As）in soil aggregates with different acidification degrees;and reveal the key factors restricting the availability of soil As. The results showed that the distribution of total As in each aggregate was positively affected by its mass fraction，and the larger the mass fraction，the more the total As distribution. Soil acidification destroyed the aggregate structure，reduced the mass fraction of large aggregate S1（>2 mm）by 5 to 15 percentage points，led to the increase in amorphous iron content by 2 to 7 times，and decreased the total As distribution of S1. The available As was positively regulated by non-obligate/obligate adsorptive arsenic（F1，F2）（F1+F2 correlation coefficient 0.76）and negatively affected by residual arsenic（F5）（correlation coefficient −0.89）. Soil acidification significantly reduced the ratio of F1 to F2 after exogenous As entered the soil，resulting in a decrease in ω（available As）from 6.71-15.37 mg·kg−1 to 2.36-9.26 mg·kg−1，and the highest exogenous available As content was found in S1 and microaggregate S4（ © 2025 Science Press. Spatial Patterns and Controlling Factors of Soil Organic Carbon and Total Nitrogen in the Three River Headwaters Region,China

The alpine ecosystem has great potential for carbon *** organic carbon(SOC)and total nitrogen(TN)are highly sensitive to climate change,and their dynamics are crucial to revealing the effect of climate change on the structure,function,and services of the ***,the spatial distribution and controlling factors of SOC and TN across various soil layers and vegetation types within this unique ecosystem remain inadequately *** this study,256 soil samples in 89 sites were collected from the Three River Headwaters Region(TRHR)in China to investigate SOC and TN and to explore the primary factors affecting their distribution,including soil,vegetation,climate,and geography *** results show that SOC and TN contents in 0-20,20-40,40-60,and 60-80 cm soil layers are 24.40,18.03,14.04,12.40 g/kg and 2.46,1.90,1.51,1.17 g/kg,respectively;with higher concentrations observed in the southeastern region compared to the northwest of the ***-way analysis of variance reveals that SOC and TN levels are elevated in the alpine meadow and the alpine shrub relative to the alpine steppe in the 0-60 cm soil *** structural equation model explores that soil water content is the main controlling factor affecting the variation of SOC and ***,the geography,climate,and vegetation factors notably indirectly affect SOC and TN through soil ***,it can effectively improve soil water and nutrient conditions through vegetation restoration,soil improvement,and grazing management,and the change of SOC and TN can be fully understood by establishing monitoring networks to better protect soil carbon and nitrogen.

Improvement of photogrammetric joint roughness coefficient value by integrating automatic shooting parameter selection and composite error model

In order to improve the accuracy of the photogrammetric joint roughness coefficient(JRC)value,the present study proposed a novel method combining an autonomous shooting parameter selection algorithm with a composite error ***,according to the depth map-based photogrammetric theory,the estimation of JRC from a three-dimensional(3D)digital surface model of rock discontinuities was ***,an automatic shooting parameter selection algorithm was novelly proposed to establish the 3D model dataset of rock discontinuities with varying shooting parameters and target ***,the photogrammetric tests were performed with custom-built equipment capable of adjusting baseline lengths,and a total of 36 sets of JRC data was gathered via a combination of laboratory and field ***,by combining the theory of point cloud coordinate computation error with the equation of JRC calculation,a composite error model controlled by the shooting parameters was *** newly proposed model was validated via the 3D model dataset,demonstrating the capability to correct initially obtained JRC values solely based on shooting ***,the implementation of this correction can significantly reduce errors in JRC values obtained via photographic ***,our proposed error model was integrated into the shooting parameter selection algorithm,thus improving the rationality and convenience of selecting suitable shooting parameter combinations when dealing with target rock masses with different ***,the optimal combination of three shooting parameters was *** values resulting from various combinations of shooting parameters were verified by comparing them with 3D laser scan ***,the application scope and limitations of the newly proposed approach were further addressed.

Traumatic brain injury(TBI) is a significant globa public health challenge, with an estimated mortality rate of 13 per 100,000 people in China. Bedsides the immediate neurological consequences,^([1]) TBI is associated with longterm sequelae and an elevated risk of neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy. Moreover, TBI can induce systemic effects including acute gastrointestinal injury(AGI), contributing to poor patient outcomes.

The Gravitational Constant G May Decrease between Millimetre-Sized Masses

The Newtonian gravitational constant G is one of the most important fundamental constants of nature, but still remains resistant to the standard model of physics and disconnected from quantum theory. During the past >100 years, hundreds of G values have been measured to be ranging around 6.66 to 6.7559 × 10−11 m3·kg−1·s−2 using macroscopic masses. More recently, however, a G value ((6.04 ± 0.06) × 10−11 m3·kg−1·s−2) measured using millimetre-sized masses shows significant deviation (by ~9%) from the reference G value, which the authors explained is resulted from “the known systematic uncertainties”. However, based on the observation of historical G values and the protocol of the millimetre-sized masses based experiment, here we proposed a theory that this deviation is not from “systematic uncertainties” but actually G will rapidly decrease when masses sphere diameter is less than 0.02 metres. Moreover, this theory predicted the G value will be 5.96 × 10−11 m3·kg−1·s−2 between masses whose diameter are 2 millimetres (0.002 metres), which matches the measured G value very well.
