Herein we study the economic performance of hydrochar and synthetic natural gas coproduction from olive tree *** process entails a combination of hydrothermal carbonization and *** a previous work,we evidenced that standalone hydrochar production via HTC results ***,we propose a step forward on the process design by imple.enting a methanation,adding value to the gas effluent in an attempt to boost the overall process techno-economic *** different plant capacities were analyzed(312.5,625 and 1250 kg/hr).The baseline scenarios showed that,under the current circumstances,our circular economy strategy in *** analysis of the revenues shows that hydrochar selling price have a high impact on NPV and subsidies for renewable.coal production could help to boost the profitability of the *** the contrary,the analysis for natural gas prices reveals that prices 8 times higher than the current ones in Spain must be achieved to reach *** seems unlikely even under the presence of a strong subsidy *** costs analysis suggests that a remarkable.ele.tricity cost reduction or ele.tricity consumption of the HTC stage could be a potential strategy to reach profitability ***,significant reduction of green hydrogen production costs is deemed instrumental to improve the economic performance of the *** results show the formidable.techno-economic challe.ge that our society faces in the path towards circular economy societies.

Breast cancer detection heavily relies on medical imaging, particularly ultrasound, for early diagnosis and effectivetreatment. This research addresses the challe.ges associated with computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) of breastcancer fromultrasound images. The primary challe.ge is accurately distinguishing between malignant and benigntumors, complicated by factors such as speckle.noise, variable.image quality, and the need for precise segmentationand classification. The main objective of the research paper is to develop an advanced methodology for breastultrasound image classification, focusing on speckle.noise reduction, precise segmentation, feature extraction, andmachine le.rning-based classification. A unique approach is introduced that combines Enhanced Speckle.ReducedAnisotropic Diffusion (SRAD) filters for speckle.noise reduction, U-NET-based segmentation, Genetic Algorithm(GA)-based feature sele.tion, and Random Forest and Bagging Tree classifiers, resulting in a novel and efficientmodel. To test and validate the hybrid model, rigorous experimentations were performed and results state thatthe proposed hybrid model achieved accuracy rate of 99.9%, outperforming other existing techniques, and alsosignificantly reducing computational time. This enhanced accuracy, along with improved sensitivity and specificity,makes the proposed hybrid model a valuable.addition to CAD systems in breast cancer diagnosis, ultimatelyenhancing diagnostic accuracy in clinical applications.

Rhombohedral phase Hf_(x)Zr_(1.x)O_(2)(HZO,x from 0 to 1)films are promising for achieving robust ferroele.tric polarization without the need for an initial wake-up pre-cycling,as is normally the case for the more commonly studied orthorhombic ***,a large spontaneous polarization observed in rhombohedral films is not fully understood,and there are also large discrepancies between experimental and theoretical *** this work,in rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films,we show that oxygen vacancies are not only a key factor for stabilizing the phase,but they are also a source of ferroele.tric polarization in the *** is shown experimentally through the investigation of the structural properties,chemical composition and the ferroele.tric properties of the films before and after an annealing at moderate temperature(400℃)in an oxygen environment to reduce the V_(o)concentration *** experimental work is supported by density functional theory(DFT)calculations which show that the rhombohedral phase is the most stable.one in highly oxygen defective ZrO_(2)*** DFT calculations also show that V_(o)contribute to the ferroele.tric *** findings reveal the importance of V_(o)for stabilizing rhombohedral ZrO_(2)thin films with superior ferroele.tric properties.
