Early Paleozoic accretionary orogens dominated the Western Gondwana margin and were characterized by nearly continuous subduction associated with crustal extension and back-arc basin *** southwestern margin is represented by Famatinian and Pampean basement realms exposed in South America,both related to the protracted Paleozoic evolution of the Terra Australis Orogen,whereas the northwestern margin is mainly recorded in Cadomian domains of Europe and adjacent ***,no clear relationships between these regions were so far *** on a compilation and reevaluation of geological,paleomagnetic,petrological,geochronological and isotopic evidence,this contribution focuses on crustal-scale tectonic and geodynamic processes occurring in Western Gondwana accretionary orogens,aiming at disentangling their common Early Paleozoic *** show that accretionary orogens were dominated by high-temperature/lowpressure metamorphism and relatively high geothermal gradients,resulting from the development of extended/hyperextended margins and bulk transtensional *** this sense,retreating-mode accretionary orogens characterized the Early Paleozoic Gondwana margin,though short-lived pulses of compression/transpression also *** existence of retreating subduction zones favoured mantle-derived magmatism and mixing with relatively young(meta)sedimentary sources in a thin continental *** reworking of previous forearc sequences due to trenchward arc migration thus took place through assimilation and anatexis in the arc/back-arc ***,retreating-mode accretionary orogens were the locus of Early Paleozoic crustal growth in Western Gondwana,intimately associated with major flare-up events,such as those related to the Cadomian and Famatian *** roll back,probably resulting from decreasing convergence rates and plate velocities after Gondwana assembly,was a key factor for orogen-scale geodynamic ***

Optimizing flying objects’wing performance has attracted a significant attention in the last few *** this article,some of the main mechanisms for changing the geometry of the wing were investigated and a new mechanism is proposed to improve the aerodynamic performance of the airplane *** designs have been simulated and analyzed from both aerodynamic and control points of *** aerodynamic simulations using CFD methods,two airfoils of NACA series 6 with specifications 65-212 and 65-2012 were *** results indicated that both airfoils used have a better performance compared to others in a certain range of the angle of ***,a new mechanism is proposed to change the wing geometry to optimize its *** the proposed mechanism,the structures of airfoils and wings consist of two fixed and moving parts,which can change their geometry with the help of a control *** fixed part has a grooved track,and as the moving part moves in the direction of the grooves,the curvature of the upper and lower parts of the wing *** design control circuit includes an angle sensor,a micro controller,and a *** CFD results are entered into the micro controller as *** any moment,the micro controller receives the angle data from the angle sensor and by comparing them with the CFD data,and issuing a command to the servomotor,it situates the wing curvature in the optimal state at all *** built mechanism was tested at an attack angle of 0°and 25°.The results showed that the different parts of the mechanism work with very high precision and put the geometric shape of the wing in an optimal state in a completely intelligent *** should be noted that the average error in test for t/c and Xt/c was 15.3% and 9%,respectively.

Background Forest ecosystems undergo significant transformations due to harvesting and climate fluctuations, emphasizing the critical role of seeding in natural regeneration and long-term structural preservation. Climate change further amplifies these dynamics, affecting phenology across species and regions. In Tierra del Fuego(Argentina), Nothofagus pumilio(lenga) forests represent the most important timber resource, and it is managed through different silvicultural strategies. This species demonstrates notable post-disturbance regeneration, yet seed fall exhibits signifi-cant variability, leading to variations in seed quality(e.g., viability). This study aims to assess fluctuations in N. pumilio seed quality, determine how it varies concerning forest management strategies, annual productivity, and the co-occurrence of climatic phenomena including El Ni?o-Southern Oscillation(ENSO) and the Southern Annular Mode(SAM).Results Viable seeds represented 18.4% of the total, notably higher in unharvested than in managed areas. Con-versely, empty seeds were more prevalent in harvested areas(> 75%). Seed quality exhibited significant differences across silvicultural treatments, except for insect-predated seeds, which had similar proportions across all areas, though dispersed retention showed higher predation. When considering years with varying production levels, high-production years favoured full and viable seeds, particularly in unharvested forests and aggregated retention, while low-production years saw reduced viability across all treatments. Quadratic models revealed that viability increased with seed production, where unharvested forests achieved the highest values. Climate variability influenced seed proportions, where ENSO+/SAM+ promoting more full and viable seeds, while ENSO–/SAM+ favoured non-predated seeds, especially in unharvested *** Seed quality varies among treatments and years with different levels of seeding. There are very few studies on the application of fertilizers through irrigation water(fertirrigation) using a multi-gate irrigation system in sugarcane AES. Through fertirrigation, the application of fertilizers can be simplified, and their distribution uniformity in sugarcane fields improved. This paper provides an overview of the state of the art regarding fertirrigation with multi-gate irrigation in sugarcane agroecosystems(AES). In order to systematize, organize, and discuss the scientific data on fertirrigation with low-pressure multi-gate irrigation systems in sugarcane AES, bibliographic material from the following full-text scientific journal databases was screened: the Elsevier Science Direct Freedom Collection, Springer Link, and the International Society for Horticultural Science. Next,a matrix of keywords was used to analyze the interrelationships among the available literature, current issues, and the recent *** conclude that development of fertirrigation technologies with low-pressure multi-gate irrigation is much needed.

目的评估左冠状动脉主干外科血管成形术治疗以左冠状动脉主干狭窄为主要病变的冠状动脉心脏病的远期疗效。方法回顾性分析1983年9月至2004年12月因左冠状动脉主干狭窄接受左冠状动脉主干外科血管成形术治疗的162例患者的临床资料。采用单因素方差分析手术病死率相关因素，采用Kaplan—Meier生存曲线法分析远期生存率。结果围手术期病死率8％，与是否为单纯左冠状动脉主干病变，是否为急诊手术相关。出院患者随访率95％，中位随访时间102个月。42例患者发生远期冠状动脉事件，9例患者死亡。10年及20年累计生存率分别为81％和52％，无冠状动脉事件生存率分别为77％和41％。结论左冠状动脉主干外科血管成形术治疗以左冠状动脉主干狭窄为主要病变的冠状动脉心脏病，可以获得较好的远期疗效，具有良好的临床应用价值。

Diagnosis of voiding dysfunction by pressure-flow study in women

Pressure-flow study(PFS) of micturition is the best method to quantitatively analyse voiding function. It allows us to distinguish voiding lower urinary tract symptoms and low urine flow rate caused by bladder outlet obstruction(BOO) from those caused by detrusor underactivity(DU). Voiding dynamics are significantly different in men and women and the established criteria for urodynamic diagnosis in men do not apply to women. Basic principles of voiding mechanics and voiding patterns in asymptomatic women are analyzed. Although attempts have been made to establish a consensus for diagnosis of BOO in women with pressure-flow cutoff, video-urodynamics criteria and nomograms, currently there is no consensus. There is no standard urodynamic test to diagnose and quantify DU in women for which further investigations are needed. Modified projected isovolumetric pressure(to assess detrusor contraction strength) and pressure-flow cutoff criteria have been used. The diagnosis of voiding dysfunction in women is challenging, requiring PFS with very good quality control and often involves integrating clinical and radiographic data to make the final assessment.
