Dam removal has been increasingly reported globally and is becoming an important approach for river management, restoration and environmental conservation in damming rivers. However, current limited knowledge of global trends in dam removal and related research may be potentially biased in terms of the geographic distribution and organisms studied. Such bias could mislead dam removal planning and management in different areas and ecological conservation for different taxa. In this study, we quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed datasets of dam removal and publications of dam removal research using bibliometric methods. A total of 1449 dam removal documents were published from 1953 to 2016. Trends, current hotspots and future directions of dam removal research were identified. The results from this study reveal that dam removal largely occurred in the North America and Europe, and most of the removed dams were small and old dams. With respect to the topic analysis, more dam removal studies should focus on the responses of a wide range of organisms, not only fish, as well as the interspecies relationships, food webs and ecosystem structures and functions. Based on our findings, we also provide some suggestions for future dam removal planning and analysis.

Based on the analysis of status quo of metadata technology and the informationized freezing construction of an auxiliary shaft in Longgu mine, the necessity and feasibility of applying metadata standards for informationized construction is discussed. The prototype of metadata standard for the construction is designed and established by using a modeling method, and the framework with XML/RDF for such standard is given.

The study of thermal characteristics during startup is one of the most important aspects for safety analysis of supercritical water-cooled reactor(SCWR).According to the given sliding pressure mode of SCWR,thermal analysis on temperature-raising phase and power-raising phase of startup are carried *** the radial heterogeneity of power distribution,thermal characteristics for different assemblies during startup are also put *** results show that,during temperature-raising phase with core power increased only,the temperature of moderator,coolant and fuel cladding in inner assemblies are increased with little *** power-raising phase with core power and feed-water flow rate increased,the coolant temperature keeps unchanged,but the moderator temperature is *** a greater variation of power,fuel cladding temperature shows a greater ***,considering the uneven distribution of radial power,thermo-hydraulic characteristics with uneven cladding temperature distribution shows a certain horizontal heterogeneity for different fuel assemblies,which becomes serious as flow rate and power *** adjusting flow rate distribution in different fuel assemblies or changing power setting during startup,the cladding temperature difference could be effectively reduced,which provides a certain reference for startup optimization of SCWR.

Spatial and temporal variation of fish assemblages in a subtropical small stream of the Huangshan Mountain

Spatial and temporal variation of fish assemblages were investigated seasonally from May 2007 to February 2008 across 11 study sites in a subtropical small stream, the Puxi Stream, of the Huangshan Mountain. Along the longitudinal gradient from headwater to downstream, fish species richness and abundance increased gradually, but then decreased significantly at the lower reaches. The highest species richness and abundance were observed in August and the lowest in February. Based on analysis of similarities （ANOSIM）, fish assemblages were significantly different in spatial variation but not in temporal variation. Although differences were observed both among sites and among stream orders, the lower R value in order-variation suggested stream order was not the optimal factor explaining the spatial variation of fish assemblages. In addition, dam construction did not significantly alter fish assemblages in the sites adjacent to and immediately downstream to dams. Using cluster analysis and non-metric Multi Dimensional Scaling analysis （NMS）, assemblages were separated into three groups at a Bray-Curtis similarity value of 42%： the upper, middle and lower groups. Following analysis of similarity percentages of species contributions （SIM- PER）, shifts in occurrence or abundance of S. curriculus, Z. platypus, R. bitterling and A. fasciatus contributed most to the differences amongst the three groups. Standard Deviation Redundancy Analysis （RDA） suggested that habitat structure （such as elevation, substrate, and flow velocity） contributed to the spatial and temporal pattem of fish assemblages in the Puxi Stream. In conclusion, the fish assemblages in Puxi Stream presented significant spatial but not temporal variation. Human disturbance has perhaps induced the decrease in species diversity in the lower reaches. This paper proposes a chip correlation indicator （CCI）-based link quality estimation mechanism for wireless sensor networks under non-perceived packet loss. On the basis of analyzing all related factors, it can be concluded that signal-to-noise rate （SNR） is the main factor causing the non-perceived packet loss. In this paper, the relationship model between CCI and non-perceived packet loss rate （NPLR） is established from related models such as SNR versus packet success rate （PSR）, CCI versus SNR and CCI-NPLR. Due to the large fluctuating range of the raw CCI, Kalman filter is introduced to do de-noising of the raw CCI. The cubic model and the least squares method are employed to fit the relationship between CCI and SNR. In the experiments, many groups of comparison have been conducted and the results show that the proposed mechanism can achieve more accurate measurement of the non-perceived packet loss than existing approaches. Moreover, it has the advantage of decreasing extra energy consumption caused by sending large number of probe packets.

A cDNA library was constructed end characterized from the pulp of Cera Care navel orange （Citrus sinensis Osbeck） at different stages of ripening. Tittering results revealed that approximately 5.086×10^5 independent clones were included in this library. Electrophoresls gel results of 15 randomly selected clones revealed that the size of the insertion fragments ranged from 400 bp to 2 kb, with an average size of 900 bp. Sequencing results of 150 randomly picked clones showed that the recombination rate was 94%. During subsequent sequence analysis, 41 of 139 clones failed to be identified end the amino sequence of 71 clones shared less than 30% identity with related plants in GenBank. Of 27 clones whose amino sequences shared more than 60% identity with other related plants in GenBenk, 17 clones showed an 80% identity with the corresponding candidate genes of citrus. The clone recognized as the type Ⅲ metallothlonein-llke （MT） gene was observed to occur 13 tlmes, Indlcatlng that the protein may play an important role In frult development and rlpenlng.

In-situ observation on the deformation behaviors of Fe-Mn-C TWIP steel

The microstructure and crack behaviour of twinning induced plasticity （TWIP） steel during tensile deformation was investigated with in-situ scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. The results show that there are two modes of plastic deformation during tensile test in the Fe-Mn-C TWIP steel： dislocation gliding and deformation twins. During the process of tensile deformation, secondary deformed twins are found. Inclusions have played a role in the course of ductile fracture, and microcracks initiate from inclusions and twin-twin intersections.

Objective:Although relatively rare,adult immunoglobulin A vasculitis(IgAV)can lead to severe complications and longer hospitalization,and result in poor prognosis,when compared to childhood ***,early identification and prevention for patients prone to develop systemic involvement are *** purpose of this study was to explore the correlations of common serological markers with the development of systemic involvement in adult ***:A retrospective analysis was performed for adult IgAV patients,who were hospitalized in Wuhan Union Hospital between January 2016 and December 2019.A total of 259 patients were enrolled,and the pre-treatment serological markers were comprehensively ***:In the present study,49.0% and 33.2% of patients developed renal and gastrointestinal(GI)involvement,***,the elevated levels of white blood cells count,D-Dimer(D-D),C-reactive protein(CRP)and neutrophil granulocyte ratio(NE%)>60% were significantly associated with GI involvement in the univariate analysis,while the decrease in high density lipoprotein level,and the elevated D-D and CRP levels were significantly associated with renal involvement(P<0.05).Moreover,a prediction model that combined multiple markers was established by performing a logistic regression analysis,and this presented a more favorable value of prediction than the individual serological ***:The present study suggests that common serological markers have close correlations with systemic involvement in adult IgAV,and that the establishment of a prediction model for systemic involvement may be helpful in facilitating personalized therapeutic strategies and clinical management for IgAV patients.

Wound management is a crucial measure for skin wound healing and is significantly important to maintaining the integrity of skins and their *** stimulation at the wound site is a compelling strategy for skin wound ***,there has been an urgent need for wearable and point-of-care electrical stimulation devices that have self-adhesive and mechanical properties comparable to wound ***,we develop a bioinspired hybrid patch with self-adhesive and piezoelectric nanogenerator(HPSP)for promoting skin wound healing,which is composed of a mussel-inspired hydrogel matrix and a piezoelectric nanogenerator based on aligned electrospun poly(vinylidene fluoride)*** device with optimized modulus and permeability for skin wear can self-adhere to the wound site and locally produce a dynamic voltage caused by *** show that the HPSP not only promotes fibroblast proliferation and migration in vitro,but also effectively facilitates the collagen deposition,angiogenesis,and re-epithelialization in vivo with the increased expressions of crucial growth *** HPSP reduces the wound closure time of full-thickness skin defects by about 1/3,greatly accelerating the healing *** patch can serve as wearable and real-time electrical stimulation devices,potentially useful in clinical applications of skin wound healing.
