Local resistance characteristics of elbows for supercritical pressure RP-3 flowing in serpentine m.cro-tubes

Based on the dem.nds of com.act heat exchangers and m.cro cooling channels applied for aviation therm.l protection on aero-engines,the elbow localﬂow resistance charac-teristics for supercritical pressure aviation fuel RP-3ﬂowing in adiabatic horizontal serpentine tubes with the inner diam.ter of 1.8 m. and the m.ssﬂux of 1179 kg/(m.(2)·s)were experim.n-tally *** long-short-tube m.thod was used to obtain the elbow pressure drop from.the total serpentine tube pressure drop,and the effects of system.pressures(P/Pc=1.72-2.58)and geom.try param.ters including bend num.ers(n=5-11),bend diam.ters(D/d=16.7-27.8),and bend distances(L/d=20-60)on elbow pressure drops and local resistance co-efﬁcients are analyzed on the basis of the therm.l physical property *** results show that both the increase in the elbow pressure drop and the decrease in the local resistance coef-ﬁcient with tem.eratures speed up at the near pseudo-critical tem.erature region of T>*** the growth of the elbow local pressure drop could be inhibited by the increase of system.pressures,while the local resistance coefﬁcient is slightly affected by *** inﬂuence of bend diam.ters on the local resistance coefﬁcient is m.ld when D/d is larger than 22.2 in the prem.se of fully developedﬂow in straight ***,a piecewise em.ir-ical correlation considering the bend diam.ter and physical property ratio is developed to pre-dict the elbow pressure drop of the serpentine tube and optim.ze the layout of the cooling tube system.on aero-engines.

The rapid progress of m.dern technologies has accelerated the prom.nence of therm.l expansion m.sm.tch between m.terials,and tunable therm.l expansion m.terials will be a powerful safeguard against this ***,isotropic m.fF_(6)(m.Ca,m.,Fe,and Co)com.ounds with tunable therm.l expansion have been produced via a low-cost synthetic m.thod and *** utilizing tem.erature dependent X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Ram.n spectroscopy,com.ined with first principles calculations,it was revealed that the transverse therm.l vibrations of the F atom. are dom.nated by low-frequency phonons with negative Grüneisen param.ters and are therefore the origin of the negative therm.l expansion(NTE).Very interestingly,with the increase of the m.atom.c num.er,the m.tal…F atom.c linkages becom. stiffer,reducing the num.er of vibrational m.des with negative Grüneisen param.ters,so that the strong NTE can be gradually adjusted to m.derate NTE and to near zero therm.l *** present study achieves the tunable therm.l expansion in a new com.ound fam.ly and shed light on the internal m.chanism.from.the perspective of lattice vibrational dynam.cs.

Precise m.asurem.nt of m.cro-dispersion for optical devices(optical fiber,lenses,etc.)holds param.unt significance across dom.ins such as optical fiber com.unication and dispersion interference ***,due to its com.lex system.com.licated process,and low reliability,the traditional dispersion m.asurem.nt m.thods(interference,phase shift,or tim. delay m.thods)are not suitable for the accurate m.asurem.nt of m.cro-dispersion in a wide spectral ***,we propose a spectral-interferom.try-based diff-iteration(SiDi)m.thod for achieving accurate wide-band m.cro-dispersion *** an optical frequency com.,based on the phase dem.dulation of the dispersion interference spectrum.we em.loy the carefully designed SiDi m.thod to solve the dispersion curve at any position and any *** approach is proficient in precisely m.asuring m.cro-dispersion across a broadband spectrum.without the need for cum.ersom. wavelength scanning processes or reliance on com.lex high-repetition-rate com.s,while enabling adjustable *** efficacy of the proposed m.thod is validated through sim.lations and *** em.loyed a chip-scaled soliton m.crocom.(Sm.)to com.ute the dispersion curves of a 14 m.single-m.de fiber(Sm.)and a 0.05 m.*** to a laser interferom.ter or the theoretical value given by m.nufacturers,the average relative error of refractive index m.asurem.nt for single-m.de fiber(Sm.)reaches 2.8×10^(-6) and for glass reaches 3.8×10^(-6).The approach ensures high precision,while m.intaining a sim.le system.structure,with realizing adjustable resolution,thereby propelling the practical im.lem.ntation of precise m.asurem.nt and control-dispersion.

m.croplastics(m.s)have becom. a significant concern for their potential ***,the correlation between the size of plastic particles and their toxicity rem.ins ***,we investigate the toxic effects of different sizes(80 nm.800 nm.8μm.and 80μm.polystyrene m.s(PS-m.s)on the m.del organism.Nile tilapia(Oreochrom.s niloticus).The results of biolum.nescent im.ging indicate that the 80 nm.PS-m.s are m.re likely to invade the body.H&E staining shows severe dam.ge on the intestinal villi and distinct hepatic steatosis in the 80 nm.*** U labeling shows that the proliferation activity of intestinal and liver cells reduces significantly in the 80 nm.*** gut m.crobiom. analysis shows a severe im.alance of gut m.crobiota hom.ostasis in the 80 nm.*** analysis of liver transcriptom.cs and m.tabolom.cs shows that the liver lipid m.tabolism.is disordered in the 80 nm.*** conclusion,this study confirm. that the 80 nm.PS-m.s are m.re likely to induce intestinal and liver *** the above lay the foundation for further study on the pathological dam.ge of m.s to other organism..

Lithium.sulfur(Li-S)battery is a kind of burgeoning energy storage system.with high energy ***,the electrolyte-soluble interm.diate lithium.polysulfides(Li PSs)undergo notorious shuttle effect,which seriously hinders the com.ercialization of Li-S ***,a unique VSe_(2)/V_(2)C heterostructure with local built-in electric field was rationally engineered from.V_(2)C parent via a facile therm.l selenization *** exquisitely synergizes the strong affinity of V_(2)C with the effective electrocatalytic activity of VSe_(2).m.re im.ortantly,the local built-in electric field at the heterointerface can sufficiently prom.te the electron/ion transport ability and eventually boost the conversion kinetics of sulfur *** Li-S battery equipped with VSe_(2)/V_(2)C-CNTs-PP separator achieved an outstanding initial specific capacity of 1439.1 m.A h g^(-1)with a high capacity retention of 73%after 100 cycles at0.1 *** im.ressively,a wonderful capacity of 571.6 m. h g^(-1)was effectively m.intained after 600cycles at 2 C with a capacity decay rate of 0.07%.Even under a sulfur loading of 4.8 m. cm.(-2),areal capacity still can be up to 5.6 m.A h cm.(-2).In-situ Ram.n tests explicitly illustrate the effectiveness of VSe_(2)/V_(2)C-CNTs m.difier in restricting Li PSs *** with density functional theory calculations,the underlying m.chanism.of VSe_(2)/V_(2)C heterostructure for rem.dying Li PSs shuttling and conversion kinetics was *** strategy of constructing VSe_(2)/V_(2)C heterocatalyst in this work proposes a universal protocol to design m.tal selenide-based separator m.difier for Li-S ***,it opens an efficient avenue for the separator engineering of Li-S batteries.
