Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is prevalent,and no satisfactory therapeutic options are available because the mechanisms underlying its development are poorly *** this study,we discovered that increased expression of methyltransferase-like 3(METTL3)in macrophages was correlated with the development of colitis and that depletion of METTL3 in macrophages protected mice against dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced *** characterization indicated that METTL3 depletion increased the YTHDF3-mediated expression of phosphoglycolate phosphatase(PGP),which resulted in glucose metabolism reprogramming and the suppression of CD4+T helper 1(Th1)cell *** analysis revealed that glucose metabolism contributed to the ability of METTL3 depletion to ameliorate colitis *** addition,we developed two potent small molecule METTL3 inhibitors,namely,F039-0002 and 7460-0250,that strongly ameliorated DSS-induced ***,our study suggests that METTL3 plays crucial roles in the progression of colitis and highlights the potential of targeting METTL3 to attenuate intestinal inflammation for the treatment of colitis.

This paper studies the periodic zero-dynamics attacks(ZDAs)in multi-agent systems without velocity measurements under directed ***,two types of attack modes are addressed,i.e.,infinite number and finite number of zero-dynamics *** the former case,the authors show that the consensus of the considered system cannot be *** the latter case,the dynamic evolution of the agents is investigated and it is found that only attacking the rooted agents can destroy the ***,a sufficient condition which quantifies whether or not the consensus value is destroyed is given,revealing the relationship among parameters of system model,filter and attack ***,simulations are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical findings.

Spatial Analysis of Fe Deposits in Fujian Province, China: Implications for Mineral Exploration

Spatial point pattern statistics, fractal analysis and Fry analysis in support of GIS were applied to explore the spatial distribution characteristics of mineral deposits and the spatial relationships between mineralization and geological features in Fujian Province（China）. The results of Ripley＇s K（r） revealed a clustered distribution of Fe deposits in space with a fractal dimension of 1.38. Fry analysis showed that Fe deposits distributed mainly along a NNE-NE trend. Buffer analysis showed that most of the known Fe deposits developed within 4 km buffer zones of the NNE-NE-trending faults, Yanshanian intrusions, and Late Paleozoic marine sedimentary rocks and the carbonate formations（C–P Formation）, indicating that they possibly control the spatial distribution of Fe mineralization. This is possibly because the NNE-NE-trending faults, Yanshanian intrusions, and C–P Formation provided pathways of fluids, energy and a part of metal, and zones of deposition for the Fe mineralization, respectively. The fractal relation of the number of Fe deposits occurring within the buffer zones of geological features was observed. The fractal dimension suggested that the significance of Yanshanian intrusions and C–P Formation are greater than that of NNE-NE-trending faults in controlling the formation of Fe mineralization. These findings are useful for better understanding the formation of the mineralization and provide significant information for further mineral exploration.

Preparation of genuine Yeo-Chua entangled state and teleportation of two-atom state via cavity QED

We first propose a scheme for preparing the genuine Yeo-Chua 4-qubit entangled state via cavity QED. Using the genuine Yeo-Chua atomic state, we further propose a cavity QED scheme for teleporting an arbitrary two-atom state. In two schemes the large-detuning is chosen and the necessary time is designed to be much shorter than Rydberg-atom’s lifespan. Both schemes share the distinct advantage that cavity decay and atom decay can be neglected. As for the interaction manipulation, our preparation scheme is more feasible than a recent similar one. Compared with the Yeo and Chua’s scheme, our teleportation scheme has significantly reduced the measuring difficulty.

Influencing factors and prediction of ambient Peroxyacetyl nitrate concentration in Beijing,China

Peroxyacyl nitrates(PANs) are important secondary pollutants in ground-level *** prediction of atmospheric pollutant concentrations is crucial to guide effective precautions for before and during specific pollution events. In this study, four models based on the back-propagation(BP) artificial neural network(ANN) and multiple linear regression(MLR) methods were used to predict the hourly average PAN concentrations at Peking University, Beijing, in 2014. The model inputs were atmospheric pollutant data and meteorological parameters. Model 3 using a BP-ANN based on the original variables achieved the best prediction results among the four models, with a correlation coefficient(R) of 0.7089, mean bias error of -0.0043 ppb, mean absolute error of 0.4836?ppb, root mean squared error of 0.5320?ppb, and Willmott's index of agreement of 0.8214. Based on a comparison of the performance indices of the MLR and BP-ANN models, we concluded that the BP-ANN model was able to capture the highly non-linear relationships between PAN concentration and the conventional atmospheric pollutant and meteorological parameters,providing more accurate results than the traditional MLR models did, with a markedly higher goodness of R. The selected meteorological and atmospheric pollutant parameters described a sufficient amount of PAN variation, and thus provided satisfactory prediction results. More specifically, the BP-ANN model performed very well for capturing the variation pattern when PAN concentrations were low. The findings of this study address some of the existing knowledge gaps in this research field and provide a theoretical basis for future regional air pollution control.

The Chang'E-1 and Chang'E-2 missions have successfully obtained a huge amount of lunar scientific data, through the seven onboard instruments including a CCD stereo camera, a laser altimeter, an interference imaging spectrometer, an X-ray spectrometer, a microwave radiometer, a high-energy particle detector and a solar-wind ion detector. Most of the Chang'E data are now publicly available to the science community, and this article serves as an official guide on how these data are classified and organized, and how they can be retrieved from http://159.***.88.59:7779/CE1OutENGWeb/. This article also presents the detailed specifications of various instruments and gives examples of research progress made based on these instruments.

GPS: graph contrastive learning via multi-scale augmented views from adversarial pooling

Self-supervised graph representation learning has recently shown considerable promise in a range of fields, including bioinformatics and social networks. A large number of graph contrastive learning approaches have shown promising performance for representation learning on graphs, which train models by maximizing agreement between original graphs and their augmented views(i.e., positive views). Unfortunately, these methods usually involve pre-defined augmentation strategies based on the knowledge of human experts. Moreover, these strategies may fail to generate challenging positive views to provide sufficient supervision signals. In this paper, we present a novel approach named graph pooling contrast(GPS) to address these *** by the fact that graph pooling can adaptively coarsen the graph with the removal of redundancy, we rethink graph pooling and leverage it to automatically generate multi-scale positive views with varying emphasis on providing challenging positives and preserving semantics, i.e., strongly-augmented view and weakly-augmented view. Then, we incorporate both views into a joint contrastive learning framework with similarity learning and consistency learning, where our pooling module is adversarially trained with respect to the encoder for adversarial robustness. Experiments on twelve datasets on both graph classification and transfer learning tasks verify the superiority of the proposed method over its counterparts.
