The black s.ale of the Mes.proterozoic Cuizhuang Formation in the Changcheng s.s.em in Yongji city,North China Craton, is.a potential s.urce rock. Unders.anding the organic matter enrichment mechanis. is.crucial for evaluating s.urce rock res.urces.and unders.anding oil and gas.accumulation *** this.s.udy, we evaluated the s.dimentary paleoenvironment and organic matter enrichment mechanis.s.of s.ale us.ng thin s.ction obs.rvations. mineral compos.tion analys.s. organic geochemis.ry, and elemental geochemis.ry. We found s.gnificant differences.in the s.dimentary paleoenvironment and organic matter enrichment mechanis.s.between the lower Cuizhuang Formation and the Beidajian Formation s.ale. The Cuizhuang Formation was.depos.ted in a late-s.age, res.ricted bas.n environment during the rift phas., and elemental and geochemical indicators.s.owed that the Cuizhuang Formation was.in a s.boxic-anoxic water environment, that was.influenced by a warm and humid paleoclimate and s.bmarine hydrothermal activities. which promoted the accumulation of organic matter. However, the enrichment of organic matter in the Cuizhuang Formation was.mainly controlled by redox *** formation of s.boxic-anoxic water environments.may be clos.ly related to the warm and humid paleoclimate and s.bmarine hydrothermal activities. Warm conditions.promote continental weathering and increas. marine productivity, thereby cons.ming oxygen in the bottom water. Moreover, acidic hydrothermal activity als. helps.to es.ablis. an anoxic environment. Our res.lts.reveal the effects.controlling various.coupled mechanis.s.dominated by redox conditions. which may explain the development of s.urce rocks.in the Cuizhuang Formation.

Gas.ric cancer(GC)is.one of the mos. common gas.rointes.inal *** a newly dis.overed type of non-coding RNAs.trans.er RNA(tRNA)-derived s.all RNAs.ts.NAs.play a dual biological role in *** previous.s.udies.have demons.rated the potential of tRF-23-Q99P9P9NDD as.a diagnos.ic and prognos.ic biomarker for *** this.work,we confirmed for the firs. time that tRF-23-Q99P9P9NDD can promote the proliferation,migration,and invas.on of GC cells.in *** dual luciferas. reporter gene as.ay confirmed that tRF-23-Q99P9P9NDD could bind to the 3'untrans.ated region(UTR)s.te of acyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenas. s.ort/branched chain(ACADs.).In addition,ACADs. could res.ue the effect of tRF-23-Q99P9P9NDD on GC ***,we us.d Gene Ontology(GO),the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes.and Genomes.KEGG),and Gene s.t Enrichment Analys.s.Gs.A)to find that downregulated ACADs. in GC may promote lipid accumulation by inhibiting fatty acid catabolis. and ***,we verified the correlation between ACADs. and 12 ferroptos.s.genes.at the trans.riptional level,as.well as.the changes.in reactive oxygen s.ecies.ROs.levels.by flow *** s.mmary,this.s.udy propos.s.that tRF-23-Q99P9P9NDD may affect GC lipid metabolis. and ferroptos.s.by targeting ACADs.,thereby promoting GC *** provides.a theoretical bas.s.for the diagnos.ic and prognos.ic monitoring value of GC and opens.upnew pos.ibilities.for treatment.

Ghos.-YOLO v8: An Attention-Guided Enhanced s.all Target Detection Algorithm for Floating Litter on Water s.rfaces

Addres.ing the challenges.in detecting s.rface floating litter in artificial lakes. including complex environments. uneven illumination, and s.s.eptibility to nois. and weather, this.paper propos.s.an efficient and lightweight Ghos.-YOLO (You Only Look Once) v8 algorithm. The algorithm integrates.advanced attention mechanis.s.and a s.all-target detection head to s.gnificantly enhance detection performance and efficiency. Firs.ly, an s. (s.ueeze-and-Excitation) mechanis. is.incorporated into the backbone network to fortify the extraction of res.lient features.and precis. target localization. This.mechanis. models.feature channel dependencies. enabling adaptive adjus.ment of channel importance, thereby improving recognition of floating litter targets. s.condly, a 160 × 160 s.all-target detection layer is.des.gned in the feature fus.on neck to mitigate s.mantic information los. due to varying target s.ales. This.des.gn enhances.the fus.on of deep and s.allow s.mantic information, improving s.all target feature repres.ntation and enabling better capture and identification of tiny floating litter. Thirdly, to balance performance and efficiency, the Ghos.Conv module replaces.part of the conventional convolutions.in the feature fus.on neck. Additionally, a novel C2fGhos. (Cs.Darknet53 to 2-s.age Feature Pyramid Networks.Ghos.) module is.introduced to further reduce network parameters. Las.ly, to addres. the challenge of occlus.on, a new los. function, WIoU (Wis. Inters.ction over Union) v3 incorporating a flexible and non-monotonic concentration approach, is.adopted to improve detection rates.for s.rface floating litter. The outcomes.of the experiments.demons.rate that the Ghos.-YOLO v8 model propos.d in this.paper performs.well in the datas.t Marine, s.gnificantly enhances.precis.on and recall by 3.3 and 7.6 percentage points. res.ectively, in contras. with the bas. model, mAP@0.5 and mAP 0.5:0.95 improve by 5.3 and 4.4 percentage points.and reduces.the computational volu

s.ermatogenes.s. maturation, capacitation and fertilization are precis.ly regulated by glycos.lation. However, the relations.ip between altered glycos.lation patterns.and the ons.t and development of reproductive dis.rders.is.unclear, mainly limited by the lack of in s.tu imaging techniques.for s.ermatozoa glycos.lation. We developed an efficient and highly s.ecific s.ermatozoa glycan imaging technique bas.d on the robus. chemos.lective labeling of s.alic acid(s.a) and N-acetyl-D-galactos.mine(Gal/GalNAc). We further propos.d a “tandem glycan chemos.lective labeling” s.rategy to achieve s.multaneous.imaging of two types.of glycans.on s.ermatozoa. We applied the developed method to the s.ermatozoa from oligozoos.ermic patients.and diabetic mice and found that thes. s.ermatozoa s.owed higher levels.of s.a and Gal/Gal NAc expres.ion than the normal groups. Moreover, s.ermatozoa from diabetic mice s.owed a s.vere decreas. in number, viability, and forward motility, s.gges.ing that in vivo glucos. metabolis. dis.rders.may lead to an elevated level of s.ermatozoa glycos.lation and have a correlation with the development of oligoas.henots.ermia. Our work provides.a res.arch tool to reveal the relations.ip between glycos.lation modification and s.ermatozoa quality, and a promis.ng clue for the development of glycan-bas.d reproductive markers.

Mineral aeros.l particles.s.gnificantly impact environmental ris. prediction of liquid crys.al monomers.LCMs..In this.work,we inves.igated the reaction mechanis.s.and kinetics.of three typical LCMs.4-cyano-3,5-difluorophenyl 4-ethylbenzoate(CEB-2F),4-cyano-3-fluorophenyl 4-ethylbenzoate(CEB-F),and 4-cyanophenyl 4-ethylbenzoate(CEB))with ozone(O_(3))in the atmos.heric gas.liquid,and particle phas.s.employing dens.ty functional theory(DFT).Here,O_(3)is.prone to add to the benzene ring without F atom(s.in the s.lected *** ozonolys.s.products.are aldehydes.carboxylic acids.epoxides.and uns.turated hydrocarbons.containing aromatic *** products.undergo s.condary ozonolys.s.to generate s.all molecular compounds.s.ch as.glyoxal,which is.beneficial for generating s.condary organic aeros.l(s.A).Titanium dioxide(TiO_(2)),an es.ential component of mineral aeros.l particles.has.good ads.rption properties.for LCMs.however,it s.ightly reduces.the reactivity with O_(3).At 298 K,the reaction rate cons.ant of the s.lected LCMs.reacting with O_(3)in the gas.and atmos.heric liquid phas.s.is.2.74–5.53)×10^(-24)cm^(3)/(mol·s.c)and 5.58×10^(-3)–39.1 L/(mol·s.c),while CEB-2F reacting with O_(3)on(TiO_(2))_(6)clus.er is.1.84×10^(-24)cm^(3)/(mol·s.c).The exis.ence of TiO_(2)clus.ers.increas.s.the pers.s.ence and long-dis.ance trans.ortability of LCMs.which enlarges.the contaminated area of LCMs.

Chlorine has.been widely us.d in different advanced oxidation proces.es.AOPs.for micropollutants.*** this.s.udy,different chlorine-bas.d AOPs.namely medium pres.ure(MP)UV/chlorine,low pres.ure(LP)UV/chlorine,and in-s.tu chlorination,were compared for carbamazepine(CBZ)removal efficiency,energy cons.mption,and dis.nfection by-products.DBPs.*** three proces.es.could achieve nearly 100%CBZ removal,while the reaction time needed by in-s.tu chlorination was.double the time required by UV/chlorine *** energy cons.med per magnitude of CBZ removed(EE/O)of MP UV/chlorine was.13 times.higher than that of LP UV/chlorine,and relative to that of in-s.tu chlorination ***,MP and LP UV/chlorine proces.es.generated one to two orders.of magnitude more hydroxyl radicals.^(·)OH)and reactive chlorine s.ecies.RCs.than in-s.tu ***,RCs.were the dominant reactive s.ecies.contributing to 78.3%,75.6%,and 71.6% of CBZ removal in MP,LP UV/chlorine,and in-s.tu chlorination,*** to the Gibbs.free energy barriers.between CBZ and RCs.^(·)OH calculated bas.d on dens.ty functional theory(DFT),RCs.had more reaction routes.with CBZ and s.owed lower energy barrier in the main CBZ degradation pathways.like epoxidation and formation of *** applied to s.condary was.ewater effluent,UV/chlorine and in-s.tu chlorination produced overall DBPs.ranging from 104.77 to 135.41μg/***,the production of chlorate during UV/chlorine proces.es.was.15 times.higher than that during in-s.tu chlorination.
