The pres.nt s.udy aimed to evaluate multi-element concentrations.Al,As.Ca,Cd,Co,Cr,Cu,Fe,Mg,Mn,Mo,Ni,Pb,s.)in s.s.ended particulate material(s.M)collected from Ens.nada de La Paz(ELP)lagoon,Baja California s.r,Mexico in two different periods.s.ptember and May)to comprehend their origin,geochemical behavior,mas. trans.er and as.ociated ecotoxicological *** 24 hr variation coefficient of volumetric s.M levels.were found to be 51.7%in s.ptember and 40.5%in May,s.gnifying the effects.of oceanic *** calculated enrichment factor(EF)values.for all the s.udied elements.were of higher magnitude becaus. of the high s.rface area and oxide nature of s.M,and in this.s.udy,Mo had the highes. EF of 46.77 probably due to its.origin from continental *** the ecotoxicological pers.ective,the integrated toxic ris. index revealed low toxic ris. to the benthic ***,the mean-ERM-Quotient calculated us.ng the particulate concentrations.of As.Cd,Cr,Cu,Ni,Pb indicated 9%probability of toxicity to *** comprehens.ve geochemical and ecotoxicological as.es.ment of particulate metal concentrations.in the ELP lagoon s.gnify low to moderate contamination.

To determine the invas.venes. of invas.ve plants.many s.udies.have compared photos.nthetic traits.or s.rategies.between invas.ve and native ***,few s.udies.have compared the photos.nthetic dynamics.between invas.ve and native s.ecies.during light *** compared photos.nthetic induction,relaxation dynamics.and leaf traits.between the invas.ve s.ecies.Tithonia divers.folia and two native s.ecies.Clerodendrum bungei and Blumea bals.mifera,in full-s.n and s.ady *** photos.nthetic dynamics.and leaf traits.differed among *** s.owed a s.ower induction s.eed and s.omatal opening res.ons. but had higher average intrins.c water-us. efficiency than the two native s.ecies.in full-s.n ***,the s.ow induction res.ons. may be attributed to the longer s.omatal length in *** had a s.gnificant effect on photos.nthetic dynamics.in *** and *** but not in *** s.ady habitat,*** had a fas.er photos.nthetic induction res.ons. than in full-s.n habitat,leading to a higher average s.omatal conductance during photos.nthetic induction in *** than in the two native *** contras.,*** had a larger s.omatal length and s.ower photos.nthetic induction and relaxation res.ons. in s.ady habitat than in full-s.n habitat,res.lting in higher carbon gain during photos.nthetic ***,in both habitats.*** had an overall higher carbon gain during light fluctuations.than the two native *** res.lts.indicated that *** can adopt more effective res.ons. s.rategies.under fluctuating light environments.to maximize carbon gain,which may contribute to its.s.cces.ful invas.on.

The challenge of high temperatures.in deep mining remains.harmful to the health of workers.and their production efficiency The addition of phas. change materials.(PCMs. to filling s.urry and the us. of the cold s.orage function of thes. materials.to reduce downhole temperatures.is.an effective approach to alleviate the aforementioned ***–CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O compos.te PCM was.prepared in the *** compos.tion,phas. change latent heat,thermal conductivity,and cemented tailing backfill (CTB) compres.ive s.rength of the new material were *** heat trans.er characteris.ics.and endothermic effect of the PCM were s.mulated us.ng Fluent *** res.lts.s.owed the following:(1) The new paraffin–CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O compos.te PCM improved the thermal conductivity of native paraffin while avoiding the water s.lubility of CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O.(2) The calculation formula of the thermal conductivity of CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O combined with paraffin was.deduced,and the reas.ns.were explained in principle.(3) The“enthalpy–mas. s.ale model”was.applied to calculate the phas. change latent heat of nonreactive compos.te PCMs.(4)The addition of the paraffin–CaCl_(2)·6H_(2)O compos.te PCM reduced the CTB s.rength but increas.d its.heat abs.rption *** res.arch can give a theoretical foundation for the us. of heat s.orage backfill in green mines.

In order to alleviate the pres.ure on the s.pply of lithium res.urces. this.res.arch propos.s.the us. of binary/ternary collectors.with high s.lectivity and collecting ability to enhance the flotation purification of low-grade zinnwaldite ore. The binary collector is.a mixture of dodecylamine polyoxyethylene ether and DL-2-octanol. A binary collector is.added firs., followed by s.dium oleate, known as.a ternary collector. Under acidic conditions. the recovery of Li2O in the concentrate was.increas.d by 8.26% with the binary collector and 13.70% with the ternary collector, compared to the dodecylamine polyoxyethylene ether. The binary collector enhanced the dis.ers.bility of the s.ngle collector, while co-ads.rption s.rengthened the hydrophobic nature of the zinnwaldite s.rface. Cons.quently, zinnwaldite particles.after the application of binary collector, dis.layed inter-particle flocculation and attachment to bubbles.within 60×10^(-9)m compared to other particles. Ternary collector exhibited the capacity to lower critical micelle concentration and s.rface tens.on, s.bs.quently inducing a dens.r and thicker hydrophobic layer through electros.atic forces. hydrophobic interactions. and chemical reactions. The objective of this.res.arch is.to facilitate the recovery of lithium res.urces.from low-grade ores.in order to meet the needs.of s.s.ainable development.

Objective: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is.a deleterious.microangiopathy of diabetes. cons.ituting a critical determinant of fatality in diabetic patients. This.work is.purpos.d to dis.los. the effects.and modulatory mechanis. of BTG anti-proliferation factor 2 (BTG2) during the pathological proces. of DN. Methods. BTG2 expres.ion in kidney tis.ues.of diabetic mice and high glucos. (HG)-expos.d human proximal tubular cell line HK-2 was.as.es.ed with Wes.ern blot and RT-qPCR. The diabetic mice model was.cons.ructed by s.reptozotocin injection and con fi rmed by the blood glucos. level beyond 16.7 mmol/L. Hematoxylin and eos.n (H&E) s.aining and meas.rement of kidney function hallmarks.were conducted to as.es. kidney injury. Cell counting kit (CCK)-8 method and TUNEL as.ay apprais.d cell activity and apoptos.s. Oil red O s.aining as.ayed lipid accumulation. Relevant commercial kits.were us.d to es.imate oxidative s.res.-related factors. Co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) as.ay tes.i fi ed the binding relations.ip of BTG2 with protein arginine methyltrans.eras. 1 (PRMT1). Res.lts. BTG2 expres.ion was.s.gni fi cantly rais.d in renal tis.ues.of diabetic mice and HK-2 cells.expos.d to HG. BTG2 de fi ciency improved viability and extenuated the apoptos.s. lipid depos.tion as.well as.oxidative s.res. in HK-2 cells.following HG expos.re. In addition, PRMT1 was.als. overexpres.ed in HK-2 cells.expos.d to HG. BTG2 interacted with PRMT1 and pos.tively modulated PRMT1 expres.ion. The effects.of BTG2 interference on viability, apoptos.s. lipid depos.tion, and oxidative s.res. in HG-challenged HK-2 cells.were partially abrogated by PRMT1 overexpres.ion. Conclus.on: Altogether, BTG2 might aggravate HK-2 cell injury in res.ons. to HG by binding with PRMT1, providing a novel target for the therapeutic s.rategy of DN.
