新冠病毒N末端结构域(N-terminal domain, NTD)特异性抗体在体外实验中可以表现出截然相反的功能,既可以中和病毒,又可以促进病毒感染.因此如何利用NTD抗体来对抗新冠病毒,需要系统深入地研究和思考.本文对当前新冠病毒NTD特异性抗体的特征和研究现状进行综述,重点阐明NTD抗体发挥不同功能与其识别表位的对应关系.面对新冠病毒突变株持续流行的现状,持续研究NTD抗体特征及功能,可进一步理解新冠病毒感染的抗体应答特征,为制定新型抗病毒策略提供重要理论基础.

Performance improvement was attained in data reconstructions of 2-dimensional tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy(TDLAS). Multiplicative Algebraic Reconstruction Technique(MART) algorithm was adopted for data reconstruction. The data obtained in an experiment for the measurement of temperature and concentration fields of gas flows were used. The measurement theory is based upon the Beer-Lambert law, and the measurement system consists of a tunable laser, collimators, detectors, and an analyzer. Methane was used as a fuel for combustion with air in the Bunsen-type burner. The data used for the reconstruction are from the optical signals of 8-laser beams passed on a cross-section of the methane flame. The performances of MART algorithm in data reconstruction were validated and compared with those obtained by Algebraic Reconstruction Technique(ART) algorithm.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)is a chronic male disease characterized by the enlarged *** choseniana Nakai(***)is medicinally used to alleviate pain,gastric disease,and lung *** this study,the effect of *** extract on BPH was investigated using testosterone-induced *** Dawley rats were divided into five groups:control,BPH(testosterone 5 mg·kg^(−1)),Fina(finasteride 2 mg·kg^(−1)),and ***(50 and 100 mg·kg^(−1)).After four weeks of TP treatment with finasteride or ***,prostate weights and DHT levels were *** addition,the prostates were histopathologically examined and measured for protein kinase B(Akt)/nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)/AR signaling,proliferation,apoptosis,and ***-state weight and epithelial thickness were reduced in the *** groups compared with that in the BPH *** extract of *** acted as a 5αreductase inhibitor,reducing DHT levels in the ***,the extract of *** blocked the activation of p-Akt,nuclear NF-κB activation and reduced the expression of AR and PSA compared with ***,the ex-pression of Bax,PARP-1,and p53 increased,while the expression of bcl-2 *** present study demonstrated that ***-ana extract alleviated testosterone-induced BPH by suppressing 5αreductase and Akt/NF-κB activation,reducing AR signaling and in-ducing apoptosis and autophagy in the *** results suggested that *** probably contain potential herbal agents to alleviate BPH.

Mapping the Dementia Research Area at the Micro-Level Using Co-terms Analysis and Positioning for Traditional Herbal Medicine

Objective： To identify the position of traditional herbal medicine in dementia research field using mapping technology. Methods： Keywords for dementia and traditional herbal medicine for treating dementia were used to extract scientific articles from the Web of Science database from January 2000 to july 2010. A co- occurrence matrix was created based on the concurrent set of author＇s keywords occurring in each scientific article, and technology network maps were created from similarity index matrices. Results： Twenty specialized research areas were identified in the dementia field, and the relationship strength was 0.2-0.6. Many research fields were associated with diagnosis and risk factors for dementia. Additionally, the mechanism or cause of dementia is an actively studied field. Traditional herbal medicine for treating dementia was located on a map near the cortical dementia diagnosis and therapy, and frontotemporal dementia research field with a relationship strength of 0.53 and 0.31-0.33 respectively, which demonstrates that traditional herbal medicine for dementia occupies an independent research area with a relationship to existing scientific research fields. Conclusion： Traditional herbal medicine can provide an alternative and complementary approach for treating dementia as evidenced by a scientific mapping analysis.

Seed storage proteins and their abundance are closely related to the formation of rice quality and grain size.A better understanding of the molecular basis of seed storage proteins will provide important information for developing new rice breeding *** this study,we report that a seed storage protein albumin,named OsRAL5,positively regulates rice quality and grain ***5 is specifically expressed during the grain-filling stage,suggesting its key role in regulating seed *** editing of OsRAL5 using the CRISPR/Cas9 system diminished grain size and weight,resulting in the development of white-core endosperm and a reduction in eating and cooking quality(ECQ).Conversely,the endosperm appearance became transparent,and both grain weight and ECQ improved in the OsRAL5 over-expressed *** major seed storage components differed significantly between the OsRAL5-edited(dOsRAL5-TS)and OsRAL5-overexpressed(OsRAL5-OE)lines compared with the wild *** protein and total lipid contents both decreased in the dOsRAL5-TS lines and increased in the OsRAL5-OE ***,the over-expression of OsRAL5 significantly increased nutritional content and simultaneously improved yield and *** results imply that OsRAL5 might be a promising candidate gene for breeding super rice varieties with increased yield potential and superior quality.

GH4169 joints manufactured by Linear Friction Welding(LFW)are subjected to tensile test and stair-case method to evaluate the High Cycle Fatigue(HCF)performance at 650℃.The yield and ultimate tensile strengths are 582 MPa and 820 MPa,*** HCF strength of joint reaches 400 MPa,which is slightly lower than that of Base Metal(BM),indicating reliable quality of this type of *** microstructure observation results show that all cracks initiate at the inside of specimens and transfer into deeper region with decrease of external stress,and the crack initiation site is related with microhardness of *** Electron Backscattered Diffraction(EBSD)results of the observed regions with different distances to fracture show that plastic deformation plays a key role in HCF,and the Schmid factor of most grains near fracture exceeds *** addition,the generation of twins plays a vital role in strain concentration release and coordinating plastic deformation among grains.

Effect of barley straw biochar application on greenhouse gas emissions from upland soil for Chinese cabbage cultivation in short-term laboratory experiments

Chinese cabbage was cultivated in upland soil with the addition of biochar in order to investigate the potential for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Barley straw biochar(BSB) was introduced in a Wagner pot(1/5000a) in amounts of 0(BSB0, control), 100(BSB100), 300(BSB300), and 500(BSB500) kg 10a^(-1). After the addition of BSB into the upland soil, carbon dioxide(CO_2) emission increased while methane(CH_4) and nitrous oxide(N_2O) emissions decreased. The highest CO2 flux was measured for the BSB500 sample,(84.6 g m^(-2)) followed by BSB300, BSB100, and BSB0 in decreasing order. Relative to those of control, the total CH_4 flux and N_2O flux for the BSB500 treatment were lower by 31.6% and 26.1%, respectively. The global warming potential(GWP) of the treatment without biochar was 281.4 g CO_2 m-2 and those for treatments with biochar were in the range from 194.1 to 224.9 g CO_2 m^(-2). Therefore, introducing BSB into upland soil to cultivate Chinese cabbages can reduce the global warming potential.
