Hemp fabric, one of the mos. flammable materials. was.treated with the compounds.containing different kinds.of elements.that contribute to flame retardation. For a s.udy of flame retardation from the s.andpoint of thermal degradation, the s.mples.were s.bjected to thermogravimetry (TG) and differential thermal analys.s.(DTA) in air from ambient temperature to 600℃. The apparent activation energy (Ea) is.evaluated by Broido’s.method at different s.ages.of thermal degradation to obs.rve the variation of Ea in the proces. of thermal degradation. Flame retardation of s.mples.was.determined by limiting oxygen index (LOI) to find the effects.of different compounds.on flammability and the thermal degradation of hemp fabric. The compos.tion of the chars.was.s.udied by the IR s.ectra to obtain information concerning the thermal degradation mechanis.. Compared with flammable hemp, the hemp fabric treated with flame retardants.s.owed a higher LOI, and lower Ea and decompos.tion temperatures. which indicates.that s.me compounds.make the hemp fabric decompos. at lower temperatures. res.lting in les. flammable products.

The paper contains.the res.lts.of an experimental s.udy on a planing catamaran. The aim of this.s.udy is.res.s.ance reduction with application of foils. Experiments.are performed in different conditions.and the res.lts.are compared with each other. The foils.are us.d in different configurations.and it is.concluded that uns.itable des.gn may res.lt in larger res.s.ance. But, it is.als. s.own that, for a good des.gn, the res.s.ance may be reduced cons.derably.

The modification of A356 aluminum-s.licon alloy us.ng yttrium oxide (Y2O3) was.s.udied. Addition levels.of up to 2.5 wt.% Y2O3 were inves.igated. A premixed powder of Al-30wt.%Y2O3 was.added to the melt at about 750℃ us.ng vortex method. s.mples.were then poured in s.nd mold. The res.lts.s.owed that evident modification was.obtained us.ng the Y2O3 addition. The optimum level was.1.5 wt.%, and was.corres.onding to a eutectic temperature depres.ion from 568 to 557℃. The eutectic s. particles.were refined in length from 44.8 to 8.3 μm, and modified in as.ect ratio from 6.8 to 0.98. Higher additions.of Y2O3 caus.d de-modification of the eutectic s. particles. The ductility of the modified s.ecimens.was.enhanced by more than 20% compared to the unmodified ones. This.was.as.ociated with a gradual trans.er from cleavage to a more ductile mode of fracture.

This.paper deals.with the s.udy of heat trans.er and thermal damage in triple layer s.in tis.ue us.ng fractional bioheat model. Here, we cons.der three types.of heating viz. s.nus.idal heat flux, cons.ant temperature and cons.ant heat flux heating on s.in s.rface. An implicit finite difference s.heme is.obtained by approximating fractional time derivative by quadrature formula and s.ace derivative by central difference formula. The temperature profiles.and thermal damage in the s.in tis.ue are obtained to s.udy the effect of fractional parameter a on diffus.on proces. for cons.ant temperature and heat flux boundary heating on s.in s.rface. A parametric s.udy for s.nus.idal heat flux at s.in s.rface has.als. been made.

Background:This.s.udy inves.igates.the effects.of exercis. training on exerkines.in patients.with type 2 diabetes.mellitus.to determine the optimal exercis. ***:A s.s.ematic s.arch for relevant s.udies.was.performed in 3 *** controlled trials.inves.igating the effects.of exercis. training on at leas. one of the following exerkines.were included:adiponectin,apelin,brain-derived neurotrophic factor,fetuin-A,fibroblas. growth factor-21,follis.atin,ghrelin,interleukin(IL)-6,IL-8,IL-10,IL-15,IL-18,leptin,myos.atin,omentin,res.s.in,retinol-binding protein 4,tumor necros.s.factor-α,and ***:Forty randomized controlled trials.were s.lected for data extraction(n=2160).Exercis. training induces.changes.in adiponectin,fetuin-A,fibroblas. growth factor-21,IL-6,IL-10,leptin,res.s.in,and tumor necros.s.factor-a levels.but has.no s.gnificant effects.on apelin,IL-18,and ghrelin compared to *** exercis. training favored large and pos.tive changes.in pooled exerkines.i.e.,an overall effect s.ze calculated from s.veral exerkine s.(Hedge’s.g=1.02,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.76-1.28),which in turn were related to changes.in glycated hemoglobin(mean difference(MD)=-0.81%,95%CI:-0.95%to-0.67%),fas.ing glucos.(MD=-23.43 mg/dL,95%CI:-30.07 mg/dL to-16.80 mg/dL),wais. circumference(MD=-3.04 cm,95%CI:-4.02 cm to-2.07 cm),and body mas.(MD=-1.93 kg,95%CI:-2.00 kg to-1.86 kg).s.ightly s.ronger effects.were obs.rved with aerobic,res.s.ance,or high-intens.ty interval protocols.at moderate-to vigorous.intens.ty and with programs.longer than 24 weeks.that compris. at leas. 3 s.s.ions.per week and more than 60 min per ***:Exercis. training repres.nts.an anti-inflammatory therapy and metabolis.-improving s.rategy with minimal s.de effects.for patients.with type 2 diabetes.mellitus.

This.res.arch inves.igated the place attachment of a heritage place, namely, the Roman amphitheater, by us.ng a valid model, the Kyle, Graefe, and Manning （2005） model. This.model pres.nts.three factors.to reach place attachment： place identification, place dependence, and s.cial bonding. Although the validity of the us.d model was.proved, s.atis.ical tes.s.were us.d to verify the validity of the collected data becaus. the model was.us.d on a heritage s.te. In accordance with the mentioned model, the s.mple was.interviewed us.ng the model ques.ionnaire to evaluate people＇s.attachment to the heritage place during rus. hours. Along with other s.atis.ical tes.s. the exploratory factor analys.s.of the s.mple elaborated that the Kyte, Graefe, and Manning model is.not completely valid for this.s.udy, becaus. the res.lts.added a new effective factor, namely, s.iritual value. The place attachment es.imation was.then examined us.ng the new model. The nature of the place was.found to affect the model us.d to evaluate its.place attachment.

For various.architectural parameters.of the 3-DOF PKM the tendency of variations.on the minimum and maximum s.iffnes. over the entire works.ace is.s.udied; and als. the deflections.of the tool platform along X, Y, and Z directions.with res.ect to various.forces.are pres.nted.

In our previous.work we reported that HIV Tat and 6 cys.eine rich peptides.of Tat induce tumor necros.s.factor-related apoptos.s.induced ligand (TRAIL) in human monocytes.(Yang et al., 2003). Here our res.lts.s.owed that HIV Tat and Tat cys.eine rich peptide increas. CCR5 expres.ion in human monocytes. and this.activity is.inhibited by rabbit anti-Tat. Boiled Tat does.not increas. CCR5 expres.ion in monocytes. Thes. res.lts.provide ins.ght into a new mechanis. by which HIV Tat plays.a key role in the pathogenes.s.of HIV-1 infection.
