The influence of humic substances (HS) formulations derived from sedimentary and compost sources was studied on plant growth at cell level and chlorophyll retention during accelerated senescence of leaf tissue. The direct effect of HS formulations was studied on cell expansion using cucumber and radish cotyledon expansion test. The cucumber hypocotyl elongation test was used to study the effect on cell elongation. Chlorophyll pigment retention in excised leaf tissue incubated in dark with high temperature was assessed to study the effect on leaf senescence. Explant tissues were incubated directly in the solutions of the formulations at the concentration recommended for foliar application to the crop plants. HS formulations showed significant variations in their direct bio-stimulatory effects. Formulations derived from compost sources were found superior in terms of inducing a direct stimulatory effect on cell expansion and cell elongation and in maintaining chlorophyll pigment retention during accelerated senescence. HS from sedimentary sources stimulated cell expansion and delayed chlorophyll degradation to a lesser extent compared to HS from compost. However, HS formulations derived from sedimentary sources used in this study were not effective in inducing cell elongation in the cucumber hypocotyl elongation test. The direct bio-stimulatory effect of HS formulations differed significantly between the formulations that were evaluated.

This study seeks to gain an insight into political speech subtitle,focusing on de/legitimation as a macro-linguistic discursive strategy reflecting micro-linguistic discursive strategies so as to exemplify as to how such a discursive representation could be mediated through translation as a socio-communicative action and translation studies as a growing interdisciplinary field of *** this end,a twofold theoretical framework at both macro-linguistic and micro-linguistic levels is employed-consisting of a quadruple categorization of legitimation developed by Van Leeuwen(2008)[38]on political discourse(PD)and Fairclough's(2003)[12]critical discourse analysis(CDA)model on linguistic modality-to analyze one of the political speeches delivered by the Iranian former president Mahmood Ahmadinejad and subtitled into English by MEMRITV(Middle East Media Research Institute TV).The results,confirming political discourse and its translation as a means of de/legitimation,indicate that although there are no overt manipulations regarding the discourse of de/legitimation in the target text(TT),the manipulation of micro-linguistic device of modality constitutes a degree of covert manipulation of de-legitimizing discourse,altering the author's(the source text enunciator's)commitment to *** is concluded that viewing translation of political discourse as a means of de/legitimization in the context of micro-linguistic aspects such as modality could probably open a fruitful avenue to discourse studies in general and translation studies in ***,to comparatively achieve more reliable and informative results,adopting eclectic approaches to the critical study of PD seems to be more promising.

Introduction:Despite the medical and scientific advances,the disease’s restrictions and the perception of personal and social losses related to its course reinforce fear and generate intense suffering in lupus *** comorbidities,especially major depressive episodes,are highly prevalent during systemic lupus *** them,suicide is a behavior that is much more common than we ***:To perform a narrative review on suicidal behavior associated with systemic erythematosus lupus(SLE).Results:Studies have shown an increased risk of suicide among patients with chronic diseases and psychiatric disorders,especially ***,suicide cannot be attributed only to a higher prevalence of depression and other mental ***,it is necessary to learn more about the suicide risk factors present in patients with lupus to work on secondary prevention and avoid the premature loss of lives and the additional suffering of families and surrounding *** coordination between the studies on suicidal behavior and its intricate network of individual and sociocultural factors and the studies on this multisystem autoimmune disease with a broad manifestation spectrum,lupus,creates new and essential field ***:Non-psychiatrist office-based physicians,health clinics,or wards dedicated to the treatment of SLE should recognize and handle the suicide risk factors on their patients to reduce the suffering caused by this disease.

Objective:To describe a patient with presarcopenia and chronic cough secondary to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)successfully treated with supplements and physical *** report:A 75-year-old female patient with a positive past medical history of systemic hypertension,dyslipidemia,heart arrhythmia,and smoking during 20 years evolved with chronic cough due to a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosed ten years *** came to our private clinic due to low weight,low *** weight was 44.8 kg,her height 1.57 m,body mass index of 18.18 kg/m^(2).Laboratory tests showed SDHEA 76.3,vitamin D of 15.6 ng/ml(nr:>30 ng/ml),C-reactive protein(CRP)of 55 mg/*** tomography showed *** had an skeletal muscle mass index of 5.0 kg/m^(2)(nr:>5.5 kg/m^(2))by DXA.A diagnosis of presarcopenia was determined based on DXA evaluation with low muscle mass but normal gait speed handgrip *** suggested to the patient to increase physical exercise and prescribed a supplement *** five months,she returned asymptomatic,without cough,marked improvement of fatigue,increased energy levels,and weight increased to 50 kg,BMI of 20.28 kg/m^(2).Laboratory tests showed SDHEA to 140,vitamin D3 to 64.5 ng/ml,reduced CRP reduced to 5 mg/dl,and amlodipine was excluded due to better blood pressure ***,two years later,the patient continues without cough and has dyspnea only with high efforts,without fatigue,and her weight is 52 kg and BMI 21.1 kg/m^(2).She also reduced her conventional treatment for COPD,using only a bronchodilator on-demand,without topical ***:This case illustrates an interesting case of a patient with presarcopenia and chronic cough,refractory to conventional approach,successfully treated with a combination of nutraceuticals and physical exercises.
