Background: certain ovarian cancers that were previously common in postmenopausal women are now increasingly observed in women of reproductive age. The research on using β-HcG as a diagnostic biomarker for ovarian cancer in women of reproductive age is ongoing. Aim: This study assessed the level of serum β-HcG in non-pregnant women of reproductive age and determined its potential association with suspicious ovarian ultrasonography results. Methods: The study was conducted in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. This study adopted a cross-sectional design on a quota sample of 224 case notes of women aged 18 - 40 years obtained from eight diagnostic centres. A data extraction form was used for data collection. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, chi-square, Fisher’s exact test, and Odds Ratio at 95% confidence and 5% significance levels. Results: About 5.8% of the participants exhibited detectable levels of serum β-HcG above 5 IU/L (World Health Organization reference) at a mean concentration of 5.87 (±1.75) IU/L. About 4.0% of the participants had suspicious ovarian lesions identified through ultrasonography. Participants with elevated serum β-HcG levels above the WHO reference were 59 times more likely to have suspicious ovarian lesions (Odds ratio: 59.4, 95%cI: 12.3 - 287.8, p β-HcG level and age (p = 0.041) as well as parity (p conclusion: Serum β-HcG levels above the WHO reference in non-pregnant women were associated with suspicious ovarian lesions. More rigorous primary research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses are needed to confirm the findings of this study.

The research investigated the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technol-ogies among agricultural entrepreneurs in Ondo state, Nigeria. A purposive sample of 120 participants involved in agriculture was selected for the study. Socioeconomic characteristics analysis revealed that the mean age of the re-spondents was 48.3 years. A majority (77%) of the respondents were male, and approximately 68% were married. Regarding education, 32.5% had completed secondary education, while 32.5% had tertiary education. The av-erage annual income was 1,166,800 naira, with a significant proportion (71.7%) identifying as christians. The study found a significant association between respondents’ awareness levels and their adoption of AI-enabled technologies (χ2 = 7.714, p = 0.005). Based on these findings, it is recom-mended that extension officers receive training in the latest agricultural technologies, including those enabled by AI. Furthermore, the study suggests the introduction of easily accessible and user-friendly AI technologies to farmers to enhance their productivity and income with minimal or no cost implications.

Prevalence of parasitemia and associated immunodeficiency among HIV—malaria co—infected adult patients with highly active antiretroviral therapy

Objective:To investigate the malaria parasitemia,cD4~+ cell counts and some haematological indices among HIV-malaria co-infected adult patients with highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART).Methods:A total of 342 adult HIV positive subjects were recruited at the consultant outpatient HIV/AIDS *** of Benin Teaching Hospital,Benin city,Nigeria between June 2011 to November *** samples were taken for malaria parasite count,cD4~+ cell count and other haematological ***:Out of the 342 adult HIV positive subjects a total of 254 patients(74.3%) were found to have malaria *** incidence of malaria parasitemia increased with advancing clinical stage of HIV infection and this was statistically significant(P=0.002).There was no statistical significance when gender was compared with the HIV-malaria status(P>0.05).Of the 254 co-infected patients,134(52.8%) had high parasitemia (>1.25×10~9/L).Sixty patients were found to be hyperparasitemic(>2.5 parasites/L).There was a significant association between cD4~+ cell count and having significant parasitemia(Pco-infected patients had cD4~+ cell count≤200/μL,and majority(44.9%) of this population also had significant *** and thrombocytopenia were not significantly associated with HIV-malaria co-infection(P>0.05).conclusions:The prevalence of parasitemia is high among the HIV/AIDS infected patients.

A submergible robot model has been presented, and for 3D printing measures, their parts have been modified enough. It has been shown in our design that using printable connectors—a few engines and weight arrangements can be carried out, permitting distinctive moving prospects. After presenting our configuration and delineating a bunch of potential structures, a helpful model dependent on open-source equipment and programming arrangements has been presented conditionally. The model can be effectively tried in a few makes-a plunge streams and lakes throughout the planet. The unwavering quality of the printed models can be strained distinctly in generally shallow waters. Nonetheless, we accept that their accessibility will inspire the overall population to construct and test submerged robots, subsequently accelerating the improvement of imaginative arrangements and applications.

目的评估中国中度至重度鼻唇沟皱褶(NLF)患者在真实的临床实践环境中接受HYc-24/HYc-24+治疗后的结局满意度。方法本研究是一项前瞻性、观察性、多中心、真实世界队列研究。纳入2018年8月至2020年8月于北京丽都医疗美容医院、杭州颜术悦容医疗美容诊所和广州粤秀整形外科医院接受HYc-24/HYc-24+治疗,并随访长达1年的中国患者,年龄18至65岁、患有中度至重度NLF,且在研究入组前6个月内未接受过NLF的美容治疗。在第1、6、9和12个月进行治疗后研究访视,仅第6个月和第9个月为必须进行的访视。患者报告结局的主要终点包括:FAcE-Q结局满意度问卷总分(评分范围为0~100分,分数越高表示结局越好,患者越满意),FAcE-Q皱纹评估-NLF问卷总分较基线的平均变化(评分范围为0~100分,评分越高表示患者在过去1周内越不受到NLF的困扰),以及在FAcE-Q患者感知年龄视觉模拟评分法(VAS)上报告比实际年龄看起来更年轻的患者比例。研究者评估终点包括整体美容效果改善量表(GAIS)评分≥1分的患者比例,以及使用鼻唇沟皱褶严重程度量表(NLFSS)评估NLF严重程度改善≥1分的患者比例。使用SAS 9.4软件进行统计分析,计量资料采用±s表示,计数资料用例数(%)表示,不同访视时间与基线的比较,采用Wilcoxon符号秩检验。结果共52例患者入组并接受治疗,其中,7例因访视时间超出访视评估窗而未被纳入第6个月有效性的分析数据集,仅9例患者完成了第12个月的访视。所有患者均为中国籍女性,年龄26~62岁,平均为40.7岁。FAcE-Q结局满意度问卷总分第6个月时为(68.76±21.03)分(38~100分),第9个月时为(65.44±18.24)分(24~100分),表明患者对治疗的满意度较高。FAcE-Q皱纹评估-NLF问卷总分基线时为(42.4±15.1)分(10~69分),第6个月时为(76.9±20.6)分(36~100分),第9个月时为(74.2±16.7)分(36~100分),均较基线得分明显升高(P均cE-Q患者感知年龄VAS报告认为比实际年龄看起来更年轻的患者比例从基线时的28.9%(15/52)分别增加到第6个月的77.8%(35/45)和第9个月的73.1%(38/52),与基线相比,差异均有统计学意义(Pc-24/HYc-24+后,使用经验证的问卷调查显示,患者对结局表示满意。患者还报告称治疗后看起来比实际年龄年轻,并且受NLF的困扰较少。临床医生报告结局与患者报告结局一致,表明NLF有所改善。

Electric vehicles use electric motors, which turn electrical energy into mechanical energy. As electric motors are conventionally used in all the industry, it is an established development site. It’s a mature technology with ideal power and torque curves for vehicular operation. conventional vehicles use oil and gas as fuel or energy storage. Although they also have an excellent economic impact, the continuous use of oil and gas threatened the world’s reservation of total oil and gas. Also, they emit carbon dioxide and some toxic ingredients through the vehicle’s tailpipe, which causes the greenhouse effect and seriously impacts the environment. So, as an alternative, electric car refers to a green technology of decarbonization with zero emission of greenhouse gases through the tailpipe. So, they can remove the problem of greenhouse gas emissions and solve the world’s remaining non-renewable energy storage problem. Pure electric vehicles (PEV) can be applied in all spheres, but their special implementation can only be seen in downhole operations. They are used for low noise and less pollution in the downhole process. In this study, the basic structure of the pure electric command vehicle is studied, the main components of the command vehicle power system, namely the selection of the drive motor and the power battery, are analyzed, and the main parameters of the drive motor and the power battery are designed and calculated. The checking calculation results show that the power and transmission system developed in this paper meets the design requirements, and the design scheme is feasible and reasonable.

Structural Style and Hydrocarbon Prospectivity of the Growth Faults Related Structures in the Bengal Basin

The structural and tectonic evolution of the Bengal Basin is characterized by a complex interplay of factors, including sedimentation, the rise of the Himalayan Mountains, and the movements of Jurassic syn-rift faults. This study aims to comprehend the progression of growth faults inside the basin by examining fault geometry, basin development, and structural relief patterns. We used high-quality 2D seismic lines from the PK-MY-8403, classical seismic interpretation techniques and modeling were carried out to reveal the plate tectonic conditions, stratigraphy, and sedimentation history of the basin. The break-up unconformity, Paleocene and Eocene submerged conditions, and crucial geological formations including the Sylhet Limestone, Barail Group, and Surma Group were among the notable features recognized in seismic section. With an emphasis on growth strata and pre-growth strata, significant variations in layer thickness and relief were remarked in different stratigraphic levels. Basin development events like the evolution of the Miocene remnant ocean basin, sedimentation in Oligocene, Eocene Himalayan collision, and the Pliocene reverse fault development are analyzed. In the early the Pliocene compressional forces outpaced sedimentation rates and syn-depositional normal faults of Oligocene time began to move in opposite direction. Syn-depositional growth faults may have formed in the Bengal Basin as a result of this reversal. This research provides a detailed comprehensive knowledge of growth fault development in the Bengal Basin following the seismic interpretation, modelling, and thickness/relief analysis. The outcomes point to a substantial hydrocarbon potential, especially in regions like the Eocene Hinge Zone, where the prospectivity of the area is enhanced by carbonate reefs and Jalangi shale. However, the existence of petroleum four-way closure in the investigated region requires further investigation.

The formation of a supercell and its impact on lithium-ion conductivity have been studied through synthesis of three layered oxides,Li_(2)ca_(1.5)Nb_(3)O_(10),Li_(2)ca_(1.5)TaNb_(2)O_(10)and Li_(2)ca_(1.5)Ta_(2)NbO_(10),related to Ruddlesden-Popper *** diffraction experiments show that these materials feature a supercell,which is significantly larger(√2a×√2b×1c)than that of a typical RuddlesdenPopper *** impedance spectroscopy shows that the formation of the new supercell is associated with enhanced lithium-ion conductivity of these materials as compared with the Sranalogue,Li_(2)Sr_(1.5)Nb_(3)O_(10),which lacks the *** addition,a systematic trend is observed in the ionic conductivity:Li_(2)ca_1.5Ta_(2)NbO10ca_(1.5)TaNb_(2)O_(10)ca_(1.5)Nb_(3)O_(10).The Arrhenius analysis in the temperature range 25–400°c shows that activation energy for the temperature-dependent rise in conductivity follows a similar *** analyses of real and imaginary components of impedance,dielectric properties,tangent loss,and complex modulus show the systematic increase in lithium-ion *** dielectric values mirror the same trend as ionic conductivity,where the most conductive material shows the highest dielectric *** addition,the same trend is observed in the peak and dispersion of dielectric loss and complex modulus as a function of angular frequency,indicating a systematic rise in lithium-ion *** fundamental study is aimed at exploring the impact of structural modifications on ionic conductivity in solids.
