The ad hoc on-demand distance-vector(AODV) routing protocol has been designed for use in ad hoc network., which are presently receiving wide interest within many diverse research communities. These network. represent a significant departure from traditional wired network. due to the distinguishing characteristics of both the wireless channel and mobile devices. Consequently, AODV incorporates many novel features for handling mobility, reduced capacity link., and the variable, indeterminate nature of the signaling range of wireless media. Since its initial design, AODV has evolved in a number of ways for improved performance, robustness, and better scalability. Nevertheless, we see many opportunities for continued *** thesis presents an algorithm for a mesh based ad hoc on-demand distance vector(AODV) routing protocol scenario of mobile ad hoc network.MANET) where cell phones, PDAs and other handheld devices could be able to use Wi-Fi that they are equipped with, to connect with other devices by using ad hoc network.in a defined area. The network.is formed without support of any central administration or fixed infrastructure. Although the algorithm for MANET has been proposed earlier, it presented weak.ess such as limited battery power, impulsive mobility and low frequency of mobile signals strength in nodes. Therefore, there was a need to overcome those limitations. As such, in this thesis, we add a link.break.ge prediction algorithm to one ondemand routing protocol AODV. The mobile node that implements the prediction algorithm uses signal power strength from the received pack.ts to predict the link.rupture point, and sends a warning to the source node of the pack.t if the link.is soon-to-bebrok.n. The source node can perform a maintenance route rebuild to avoid disconnection. Some of the problems attributed to traditional laboratory analyses that limit the correct assessment of the nutrient contents in the soil are time requirements and high cost of the soil nutrient *** solve these problems,a study was carried out to evaluate the use of visible,near-infrared,and short-wave infrared(Vis-NIR-SWIR)spectroscopy in the prediction of soil available ions submitted to the application of rock.*** study was carried out on an Arenosol in ParanavaíCity/***(rock.powders)were arranged within a split-plot system designed in randomized block. with four *** was cultivated for 14 months after the application of rock.***,96 soil samples were collected for measuring the pH and available ions P,k.(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),S-SO_(4)^(2-),Si,Cu^(2+),Fe^(2+),Mn^(2+),and Zn^(2+)as well as spectral reading through a Vis-NIR-SWIR spectroradiometer to predict the soil chemical attributes through the partial least square regression(PLS)*** results showed that the elements k.(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),Cu^(2+),and Fe^(2+)could be predicted with a reasonable rightness degree(R^(2)_(p)>0.50,RPDp>1.40)from spectral ***,for the attributes pH,P,S-SO_(4)^(2-),Si,Mn^(2+),and Zn^(2+),there were no satisfactory models(R^(2)_(p)k.powder changed the spectral curves and,because of that,allows the building of PLS models to predict the elements k.(+),Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),Cu^(2+),and Fe^(2+).Therefore,Vis-NIR-SWIR spectroscopy is a promising alternative to the routine analyses of soil fertility since it has advantages such as fast analytical speed,low cost,easy to operate,non-destructive,and environmentally friendly,because it does not use harmful chemicals.

For complex orebodies in which the valuable metal is carried by several minerals that respond differently to the concentration process, an ore block.model should not be characterized solely with elemental assays, as this information is not sufficient to anticipate the mill performances. Data from an iron ore concentrator is used to demonstrate the idea. A method is then proposed to estimate the mineral contents of ore samples from elemental assays. The method can readily be extended to combine the estimation of the mineral contents in the feed of the mill with an estimation of the recovery of these minerals into the products of the concentrator. These mineral recoveries can subsequently be incorporated into a block.model to predict the concentrator response to the processing of an ore block.

Introduction: In Burk.na Faso, undernutrition is a public health problem associated with more than 40% of infant and child mortality. Undernutrition management is complex, and there is often a risk.of treatment abandonment. Studies on this topic have not explored the influence of environmental and therapeutic factors on parental compliance. This study proposes an analysis of factors influencing the abandonment of nutritional recovery by parents of malnourished children aged 6 to 59 months in ambulatory care. Methods: This was a descriptive and exploratory qualitative study. Data collection took.place in February 2020. Data were collected from seventeen (17) participants via in-depth interviews (IDI) and direct observation. The IDIs were transcribed verbatim and thematically analyzed using Nvivo software. Results: The results revealed that factors related to the physical environment, such as geographical inaccessibility, pastoral occupation, displacement at auriferous sites, and insecurity, are important causes of nutritional recovery abandonment. They also prove that factors related to the social environment, such as lack.of family and social support, feelings of shame, stigmatization, occupation of the mother, and social events, lead to this abandonment. In addition, therapeutic factors such as interruptions of supplies of Ready to Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), feeling of improvement or worsening of the state of health, recourse to traditional medicine, and ignorance of undernutrition are also associated with this issue. Conclusion: This study highlighted barriers to the abandonment of nutritional recovery among parents of severely malnourished children aged 6 to 59 months in the health district of Titao, Burk.na Faso. It is more important to consider these different factors when evaluating care protocols so that policies to reduce child undernutrition can considerably impact the targets.

AIM: To develop novel biomark.rs of rectal radiotherapy, we measured gene expression profiles on biopsies tak.n before and during preoperative radiotherapy. METHODS: Six patients presenting with a locally advanced rectal cancer (T>T2, N0/Nx, M0) eligible for preoperative radiotherapy (45 Gy in 25 fractions) were selected in a pilot study. Six tumor and 3 normal tissues biopsies were tak.n before and during radiotherapy,after a dose of 7.2 Gy at a median time of 1 h following irradiation (0:27-2:12). Tumor or normal tissue purity was assessed by a pathologist prior to RNA extraction. Mean RNA content was 23 μg/biopsy (14-37) before radiotherapy and 22.7 μg/biopsy (12-35) during radiotherapy. After RNA amplification, biopsies were analysed with 54k.HG-U133A Plus 2.0 Affymetrix expression micro-arrays. Data were normalized according to MAS5 algorithm. A gene expression ratio was calculated as: (gene expression during radiotherapy-gene expression before radiotherapy)/gene expression before radiotherapy. Were selected genes that showed a ratio higher than ± 0.5 in all 6 patients. RESULTS: Microarray analysis showed that preoperative radiotherapy significantly up-regulated 31 genes and down-regulated 6 genes. According to the Gene Ontology project classification, these genes are involved in protein metabolism (ADAMDEC1 ; Ak.P7 ; CAPN5 ; CLIC5 ; CPE ; CREB3L1 ; NEDD4L ; RAB27A), ion transport (Ak.P7 ; ATP2A3 ; CCL28 ; CLIC5 ; F2RL2 ; NEDD4L ; SLC6A8), transcription (Ak.P7 ; CREB3L1 ; ISX ; PAB-PC1L ; TXNIP), signal transduction (CAPN5 ; F2RL2 ; RA- B27A ; TNFRSF11A), cell adhesion (ADAMDEC1 ; PXDN ; SPON1 ; S100A2), immune response (CCL28 ; PXDN ; TNFRSF11A) and apoptosis (ITM2C ; PDCD4 ; PVT1). The aim of this study was to encapsulate black.erry juice through complex coacervation,using carrageenan,tragacanth,and xanthan associated with pea protein as wall materials,in addition to characterizing the particles and evaluating the profile of release in vitro after its application in diet chewable candies with blended pulp of black.erry,butia and red *** following analyses were performed:phenolic compounds,turbidimetry,encapsulation efficiency,antioxidant activity,morphology(SEM),functional groups(FTIR),thermal behavior(DSC),and in vitro *** complex coacervation between pea protein/carrageenan,pea protein/tragacanth,and pea protein/xanthan particles occurred at pH 3.09,4.61,and 3.45 respectively,in a ratio of 1:2(w/w).Higher values of encapsulation efficiency and antioxidant activity were observed for pea protein/carrageenan and pea protein/*** and FTIR analyses confirmed the *** application of pea protein/tragacanth particles in the production of candies proved to be efficient for providing the highest percentages of phenolic compound release in the intestinal phase.

Propranolol hydrochloride can be considered a persistent and bioaccumulative pharmaceutical in the *** drug and its by-products are potentially toxic and have adverse effects,since these compounds have been associated with endocrine-disrupting effects,reproductive deficiencies,embryo abnormalities and pericardial ***_(2)–La 0.05%–carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin(CMCD)nanoparticles were successfully prepared by a simple two-step method,which consists of sonification and *** characterization analyses reveal that lanthanum is dispersed on the semiconductor surface,probably forming Ti–O–La bonds,which can induce oxygen vacancies and surface defects that effectively restrain the recombination of photogenerated electron/holes *** efficiency of TiO_(2)–La 0.05%–CMCD samples in degradation of propranolol under UV-light irradiation is higher than that of pristine TiO_(2) within 20 min reaction,probably due to complex formation between theβ-block.r and the oligosaccharide,which allows us to propose a photocatalytic mechanism based on the formation of intermediates and competition of these compounds to the radicals and CMCD cavities.

This research was carried out to determine the rheological parameters of lateritic soils in order to contribute to the improvement of the technical documents used for pavement design in tropical Africa. The study is based on the loading repeated of cyclic triaxial tests (LRT) performed at University Gustave Eiffel (formerly Institut Français des Sciences et Technologies des Transports de l’Aménagement et des Réseaux (IFSTTAR)) in Nantes with the application of the European standard EN 13286-7: 2004 [1]. The tests were performed at constant confinement stress and using the stepwise method to determine the resilient axial () and radial () deformation as a function of the axial and radial stresses.
